FERRY VIEW COTTAGE - Visit England Visitor Ready classification
Set in a superb location with magnificent river views across to Kingswear & out to sea.
A spacious very well presented town house, virtually on the level, 2 mins walk from Dartmouth historic town centre with many wonderful restaurants and shops.
Also very centrally positioned for those that like to walk and explore the surrounding coastal routes & countryside.
The house sleeps 6 in 3 rooms over 3 floors
The master bedroom (King), 2nd floor bedroom (2 single beds can be made into Super King) both have fantastic river views and TVs. Third bedroom 2 single beds. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The lounge/dining area very spacious includes 2 & 4 seater comfy sofas, 43" TV & DVD player and dining table seating 6 with views over the river and lower ferry.
Kitchen has all modern appliances, plenty of crockery, breakfast table and double doors leading to a small back yard with table & chairs
The house has been furnished to a high standard in keeping with the age of the property with all your home comforts having been catered for.

2 Bathrooms - Downstairs Shower room with environmentally friendly shower Wc. 1st floor family bathroom (New Nov 25) Electric shower, wc & washbasin
Parking permit for main town car park/park & ride and can be used in 21 other stated car parks in the South Hams area. On road parking outside of house which is restricted high season but unlimited from May - October Short breaks available

Walking distance to all Dartmouth attractions, well appointed, parking pass, great communication with the host. We’ve stayed in Dartmouth many times and this was our favorite home.

Lovely property, amazing location

Really enjoyed our stay at Ferry View, the location was amazing and the views across to Kingswear are incredible. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the communication from Sarah before and during the holiday was fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Very well appointed property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stunning views of the mouth of the River Dart from the bedrooms. Property ideally located approx 10min walk from Dartmouth Pontoon for River Dart cruises and for local bus services to Totnes.Property owner provides a Parking Permit for Mayors Avenue car park (I left my car there all week!)Highly recommend this property

An Amazing Gem

Absolutely brilliant property. Spotlessly clean, excellent communication with the property owner, and the house came with everything you could ever want. Adding in amazing views across the estuary that are stunning day or night, just adds to the appeal. Definitely will be returning

Perfect in everyway

A group of 5 of us travelled down for the long weekend. The house is perfectly located with clear check in check out instructions in advance of arriving. Lovely welcome chocolates were waiting for us when we were in the door with heating on and hot water readily available. Will certainly be back again soon to continue the wonderful experience of Dartmouth.

Ferry View was a lovely cottage in Dartmouth

Fantastic views across the river, especially from the first floor window seat. Nice accommodation with everything you would expect included. Lots of places to eat and takeaways locally. Many activities in Dartmouth, we only used the car once and has plenty of ferry rides. Would recommend. Car parking was the only downside as it is in a public car park half a mile away, although you can stop to unload and park overnight outside.

Half Term Break

Had a lovely week staying at Ferry View in Dartmouth. Great location and wonderful views over the River Dart. Fabulous house with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning one day.

Dartmouth Ferry View

Very easy to deal with the owner who answered all contact promptly. Ferry View is exactly that, giving a clear view of the ferry. Ideally situated for a short stroll into Dartmouth where we found some good restaurants and bistro's. Dartmouth Castle was also in walking distance. The property was clean and comfortable and we would recommend as an ideal location to explore Dartmouth and environs.
