The newly cottage occupies an area of 100sq.m and is situated in the village of Lakithra. All over the place you will find tradition and the earth colours ,will help you immediately to feel like home. Entering you will find the living room with the fully equipped kitchen and the comfortable sofas. From the living room you can enjoy the view to Saint Georges Castle and Mountain Ainos. The single storey villa,has one bedroom with two single beds ,and a bathroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. By opening the glass doors, you will visit the garden and the pool, that wait to give you moments of relaxation. We hope,you can feel like at home!

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

Lovely villa with fantastic views of mountains and countryside, very peaceful, just birdsong and the churchbells from the local village which is just a few minutes away, the village has great restaurants and bakeries and a bar and small supermarket, it's in an ideal location for exploring the island and has plenty of great beaches a short drive away, some great coffee shops a 5 minute drive away and only 10 minutes into argistoli, John cleaned the pool every couple of days and kept the outside area tidy, you wouldn't even have known he was there, they left some supplies in the fridge, very useful for the first night and a home cooked meal was waiting on arrival which was delicious, the villa was cleaned more often than you usually get and the bedding and towels were also done, John gave us notice when this would be done which was very useful, really and enjoyed our stay, so relaxing, would love to stay again.

This was the most beautiful villa. Yiannis and Mado were wonderful hosts. On arrival meeting Yiannis from the airport was easy and to our surprise they had left a delicious cooked Vegetarian meal of Greek stuffed peppers and potatoes, as well as a stocked fridge with wine, juice, eggs and much more. So very kind of them after a long journey!The Villa had everything you needed from kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living area and pool/outside area. It was a perfect holiday villa and all credit to Yiannis and Mado for making our stay in Kefalonia so enjoyable. I can’t recommend them and their Villa highly enough. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect holiday villa

Our holiday started with a warm welcome . John and Mado are the perfect hosts. Upon arrival a delicious meal was waiting for us and our fridge was foreseen with drinks and food. The villa is super cosy and the big veranda was the ideal place to sit as it has shade the whole day. The Island is great, lots of beautiful beaches and nice restaurants. Thank you again John and Mado for your hospitality and for the lovely greek food. We will certainly book the villa again when we visit Kefalonia. Norbert, Charlotte and Thomas

Unglaublich schön

Wir haben im Oktober 2019 eine Woche nochmal den Sommer genossen. John und Mado sind so aufmerksame und liebenswürdige Gastgeber, wie es angenehmer und zuvorkommender kaum möglich ist, der Service (Flughafenabholung, Mietwagenbereitstellung, Willkommensmenu, gefüllter Kühlschrank, Abschiedsbrötchen an der Tür, Menüs zum Bestellen mit Frei-Haus-Lieferung, wertvolle Tipps u.a.), das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind noch schöner, als die Bilder zeigen und Kefalonia ist die grünste, sauberste und lieblichste griechische Insel, die wir je bereisten. Wunderschönes Landhaus in traumhafter Lage, hübsch eingerichtet, mit guterAusstattung und den besten Gastgebern, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, der Tisch war gedeckt und es stand eine von der Gastgeberin vorbereitete warme Mahlzeit inklusive Wein auf dem Tisch. Der Kühlschrank war reich gefüllt, so dass der Urlaub am nächsten Morgen mit einem schönen Frühstück am gepflegten Pool beginnen konnte. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder!

Beautiful Villa, Fabulous Island

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this beautiful Villa, John and Madu were wonderful hosts with such attention to detail - we relaxed immediately - esp as we were collected form the airport with rental car waiting at the Villa. It was spotless and very quiet and the views are amazing. The outdoor space is large and sunny. The house has everything you would need. Thank for making our family holiday so wonderful.

the best place on kefalonia

We really enjoyed our stay in the Villa. The owners, Yiannis (John) and Mado will do really everything to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. On arrival the fridge was filled and a lovely meal was prepared by Mado. Location of the villa was perfect, however a car is needed. The island is really beautiful. We will be back!

Rustige fijne plek. Centraal gelegen. Supergastheer en vrouw.

Beschutte, rustige plek in het groen. Veel privacy. John spreekt goed Engels, want hij is in Australie opgegroeid en haalt je op op het vliegveld om de weg naar het huisje te wijzen, daarna is het een kwestie van de coordinaten op de tomtom instellen en dan is het makkelijk weer terug te vinden, trouwens na verloop van tijd ook zonder tomtom. Wij waren er een week en omdat het zo centraal ligt, kun je veel zien (Vouti bijv.op 45 min-60min afstand). Geen last van verkeer en vliegveld en toch overal redelijk dichtbij. Wel een auto nodig. John geeft goede tips. Wij wilden vooral snorkelen wat heel goed gelukt is(St Thomas,Egina(vlakbij vliegveld), Petani, Vouti). John en Mado zijn super; zij hebben gezorgd voor een hele maaltijd en bier, water en wijn en brood bij aankomst en wat ook heel fijn is, dat er een menukaart ligt, zodat je bij Mado een Griekse maaltijd kunt bestellen, verukkelijk! Al met al, een echte aanrader.

wonderfull villa in Lakithra

The owner welcomed us at the airport and took us to the villa, which very well equipped. And alo has a nice swimming pool They paid much detail to feel us at home. Eggs, fruit and vegetables were brought from their own garden. Mado cooked for us delicious rabbit dinner, a specialty from Kefalonia. Thank you very much John and Mado for your hospitality. We felt at home during our 2 week stay and would recommend this villa to everyone who wants to relax.

Wonderful Villa

We have just spent two fantastic weeks in Villa Kantrilles. We were welcomed by our host John at the airport and instantly felt we were on holiday. John & Mado are such lovely people and looked after us so well. The villa is everything described and more, you feel relaxed the moment you step inside. It is in a beautiful location with stunning views. There are some beautiful beaches, Ammes close to the airport is definitely worth a visit also Makis Gialos. A trip to Lixouri picking up the ferry from Argostli is a lovely day out. We would not hesitate in recommending Villa Kantrillies to any of our family and friends and hope to go back there ourselves in the not to distant future.

Fabulous New Villa

We had a magnificent week at this brand new cottage style villa in Lakithra, Kefalonia. The owners John and Mado are the best hosts you will come across - they do everything they can to ensure your stay is first class. The villa has been beautifully created in a traditional style in a quiet location with magnificent views of the mountains and countryside from the back. The standard of the villa is very high and it feels homely and is the sort of place where you relax very easily. I can't recommend it highly enough - you will not be disappointed.

My name is John Tapsas. I was born and raised in Australia from Greek parents. I came back to Kefalonia on 2000 and got involved with the tourism. I met my wife and we now have a daughter. My wife is also involved with the tourism industry. I love nature and I think Kefalonia is a beautiful island combining sea and mountain views.

Why they chose this property

In 2014 we built our villa and we are feeling very proud. It is a private villa with pool and is located in the beautiful village of Lakithra. Close to most of the beaches and 5 minutes away from the capital, Argostoli. Based on a peaceful location with breathtaking views. Perfect for relaxation. Our village has a taverna, pizza place, souvlaki place, bar, bakery, pastry shop, mini market, so you don't miss anything. All these are in a walking distance from the villa. The village is well known for Byrons Rock, with an exclusive view at the airport, the sea and Zante.

What makes this property unique

In 2009 we made our dream come true.We built Villa Mandola.
As all of our customers enjoy their stay,and feel like home,enjoy the facilities of our villa,we decided to built another one.
This happened in 2014,as we built Villa Kantrillies.
Offering the same facilities to our customers.
The villa offers times of relaxation,at the barbecue area,by the pool,enjoying the views of Mountain Ainos and Saint Georges Castle.
