Fabulously clean with stunning views
Tim and Debbie couldn't have been more helpful without intruding. Everything mentioned in the brochure was there. We needed a bolt hole and it was perfect. Returning each day to look out over the rolling countryside from the seclusion of the barn. Next time we are down we'll certainly be booking in.

Idyllic rural retreat with great fishing
Situated in a quiet, unspoilt area of Dorset, Kelpers barn enjoys an elevated position with glorious views. The barn is modern, light and airy, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also visited in November and it was warm and cosy.
Tim and Debbie are attentive hosts who will offer advice on places to visit. We went to Stourhead House and gardens which were beautiful and is only about 15 minutes drive way. Shaftsbury and Sherbourne are also close by. There are some lovely walks from the door and within easy reach. Plenty of good pubs in the area eg The Stapleton Arms In Buckhorn Weston and The White Lion in Bourton. There is also a lovely golf course near Bourton which looks quite challenging.
My husband really enjoyed his time fishing in the lake. The carp were great fun, his best fish was a Common weighing 7lbs but there were bigger ones that outwitted him! Wildlife around the farm was fantastic and it was nice to see a water vole by the lake.
We look forward to returning with our golf clubs and binoculars.
