Welcome to Casa Pelicano!
This exceptional oceanfront condo is located on the 7th floor of an elevator building. It has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms with tub/shower combination. This unit is a luxury vacation rental property with a million-dollar view of the Atlantic. Relax on the large balcony while watching the pelicans fly over the ocean waves.
The kitchen has granite counters and is appointed with all the cooking supplies you will need for a quick snack to a Thanksgiving dinner. There is a comfortable Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The Master bedroom features a king bed with direct access to the oceanfront balcony and the second bedroom has a Queen bed. The third bedroom has a set of twin beds. Luxurious linens are used to make the beds in the three bedrooms. Linens, towels and wash cloths are included in the price. There is Cable TV, a Smart TV and complimentary high-speed internet.
Parking permits are provided at no extra cost. The building has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a hot tub. Private beach access is located behind the complex where you can also find a deck with seating to enjoy a light lunch or watch the waves. Guests also have the right to use outdoor grills and picnic tables.
During your vacation, you might want to explore all the wonderful things the area has to offer, like paddle boating on the nearby lake, visiting historic Fort Fisher, the local aquarium, or the city of Wilmington. On weekends, there is a quaint market in Carolina Beach, within walking distance of the condo. Every summer week you have front row seats to exciting fireworks. Relaxing Week

Great oceanfront location with an elevator and indoor/outdoor pool. Keys not provided in check in envelope and cleaning crew still working on unit after 4 pm. We would rent again.

Annual family vacation

The condo was adequate for our family but it does need some updating. Upon arrival our rental package stated one of the single bed legs( it was actually the bed frame) was broken so we had to work sleeping arrangements out differently, it was inconvenient. Also one of the two keys didn’t work the pool/beach access doors which was again inconvenient with 6 people coming and going.Neither stopped us from having a good time.

Easy access to great beach

Unit was well located, furnished nicely, with no contact check in and check out... important in today's COVID-19 environment. We had 7 people and ample space for everyone. We had some storms and the balcony was great for watching them come in from the sea or roll across the beach. Shining star of the trip was the beach... it's what we were there for. Accesses was quick and easy. With the beach facing balcony, we felt like we were on the beach even when weather kept us off the sand. Great trip!

Beautiful location!

The unit was clean and comfortable. We had our 94 yr old mom with us and she could get around with her walker easily. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The view was unbeatable!

Our pelican review

The condo unit itself was very clean. Everything about the unit was perfect except for the non existent WiFi. The property managers were helpful in every aspect except that, where they told us WE had to call the cable company to figure out why the WiFi didn’t work. 3 hours on the phone and my husband was told it was because the owners of the unit no longer had an open account. And while the lack of WiFi for the entire week wasn’t a big deal for the adults, traveling with 3 teenagers it was. I think it needs to be noted as we were unaware of that prior to booking. The unit is centrally located to many fun eateries and close to the boardwalk. The building itself was in need of a thorough cleaning. We often liked to use the stairs as the elevators could get crowded but found it deplorable as every step from ground to the 7th floor was littered with cigarette butts. And on every landing was an old soda bottle filled with butts. Disgusting. For that amount of money I would expect a little more cleanliness. Again, the unit itself was very clean and fit our family of 6 well. Kitchen was well stocked and the furniture and beds comfortable. Ample seating on the balcony. AC unit is extremely loud. Paying for beachfront property yet the entire length of the building is filled each morning with the rental chairs and umbrellas making it a long trek to set up for the day with our own chairs and umbrella.
