Wonderful

We had an absolutely wonderful short break in this lovely well-appointed house in an excellent rural position but a very good base for visiting the local area. We are a family of 5 and there was more than enough room. We would certainly stay again as we were only there for four nights and there’s plenty more to see in Suffolk.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night break with the family, 7 of us slept very well.House is so lovely with extra touches like games for every age and books to read.Went to Aldeburgh which is no distance in the car.All in all a superb place to stay .

Good standard of accommodation but windows and floors needed a really good clean, our granddaughters socks were filthy after walking on them for half an hour!! Minor problems sorted quickly by manager except for the rubbish bins - need larger ones for a self catering property for 8.

Nice sized property for a family, well laid out.

Inside of the property is clean and tidy. Problem with the oven was sorted out promptly, though the replacement had yet to be installed when we left. The garden needs some attention to deal with weeds.

good for a family getaway

We loved our stay at Meadow View, and all the beautiful towns a short drive away. We particularly appreciated the large kitchen which had all the appliances & utensils we needed. Would have been perfect if you could go for walks into Aldeburgh or the countryside directly from house, but as there's no path along the road you need to drive to the start of the nearest walks.

The perfect holiday retreat

Meadow View is the perfect holiday retreat. A great location for Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Thorpeness. The barn is very comfortable, with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It was clean and is well maintained and being met by the Managing Agent - Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages was a big bonus. I will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.
