This 2 bedroom Vacation Rental has been fully refurbished to an exceptional standard and is centrally located within Puerto del Carmen, also within walking distance of the old town and harbour. Its enviable frontline position means you are only 50 metres from the beach and promenade, yet set back far enough to enjoy the peaceful and secure complex with pool and mature gardens.
The contemporary lounge includes comfy corner sofa, flatscreen TV with British channels inc. BBC,ITV, RTE, SKY Sports, Movies and free WiFi.
The large sunny terrace enjoys sea, pool and mountain views and is equipped with rattan dining furniture for alfresco dining. The brand new fully equipped kitchen benefits from washing machine, large oven, fridge and microwave. The stunning refurbished bathroom has a power shower, towels are provided . The master bedroom has a KING size bed and bedroom 2 has twin beds - all have quality mattresses and bedding with built in wardrobes and a safety deposit box.
This apartment provides a high specification finish for all your holiday requirements and comforts. A perfect location for all ages.
Whilst the elevated position of the apartment affords it spectacular views we would not recommend it to those who are less mobile or families with pushchairs due to there being steps leading up to the apartment.

Lovely apartment

Apartment lovely and clean. Perfect location for us to enjoy long walks. All amenities nearby. Steps leading upto apartment (100) might be a problem for people with mobility problems. We have already booked for next year.

Great location

Fantastic apartment, right on the strip. Less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. The apartment was well equipped and the balcony had lovely see views. Pool in the complex was great, although a little cold but to be expected at this time of the year. There are 100 steps up to the apartment but not an issue for us. Al in all a great stay, Dean was a great host and on hand for any issues.

Another Great Holiday

Great modern apartment in a lovely quiet complex. Close to all Puerto del Carmen has to offer. We loved to chill on the balcony in the evening sun! Would just say though that it not the right complex if you have any mobility issues…. Approximately 100 steps from the promenade up to the apartment so we got plenty of daily exercise!! Hopefully we’ll return soon.

Positives - blissfully quiet, clean & great TV/film package. Negatives - no extras provided except one toilet roll & lack of privacy at bedroom & lounge windows was an issue due to being overlooked by apts opposite.

Very lovely apartment

This is a beautiful apartment, the host was very quick in responding to any questions. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and maintained. It is in the centre of Puerto del Carmen but the complex was very quiet. We had a great holiday and we were very happy with the accommodation the only point I would make is that there are quite a few stairs up to the apartment, the upside of this was that the views were fantastic. I would certainly book again.

Cannot give anything here but 5* Fantastic apartment in a beautiful complex. Pool was cleaned everyday and no issue with beds. Apartment literally home from home. Mercadona 3 mins walk away. The complex was so quite at night too. The balcony was great to take in the sun from about 11 for the rest of the day and lovely to sit out at night overlooking the pool. Dean was a pleasure to deal with and the booking process was simple. Highly recommend

Fantastic sea view, good sized balcony. Sun all day. Apartment-good size. Could only find 2 numbered sun beds allocated to apartment although there were 4 people in party. Quiet pool area so could use other beds. Settee in apartment could do with an up grade-bit lumpy but spent most time outside. Close to a couple of supermarkets. Overall we all had a great holiday.

We want our apartment to feel like a home from home for our guests so will take a look at the sofa when we are staying in the apartment ourselves in a few weeks time. With regards to the sunbeds, as you say, there are ample beds for shared use around the pool but we chose to provide a couple of numbered sunbeds for exclusive use of our guests during their stay. Rest assured, you will never have to reserve a sunbed at Las Tabaibas as there are always plenty to choose from and the added bonus of having two 'personal' ones. We hope to welcome you back soon.

A bit dated

The apartment (B17) is a decent size and the balcony has a nice view once you get up there. There are 100 steps up to the apartment from the main strip. The description of the property is not current as there are a number of issues that need to be sorted out and it's looking somewhat tired in places. The kitchen blind is broken- this may sound trivial but the hot sun beats into the apartment from early morning. The bottom shelf in the fridge is broken which means if you want a chilled glass of wine then remember to buy a screw top bottle as it won't fit upright in the door. The patio furniture and sunloungers need to be replaced - they are stained, cracked and very unappealing and spoil an otherwise nice area. The cupboard in the second bedroom is permanently locked and the bed is right up against it so storage in that room is limited to a chest of drawers. All in all, we've stayed in much nicer apartments and wouldn't return here but if a little bit of money was spent on it then that would make a difference to the comfort of the stay. The number of steps up are a big drawback, particularly in the heat and with shopping.

Thank you for your review and feedback regarding the apartment. We were very disappointed to receive a 2 star rating from you as almost all our other reviews are consistently 5 star and we have many, many guests who come back year after year. Indeed, we are rated as 'wonderful' hosts by VRBO. However, we welcome feedback on how to improve our apartment and will address the points you have raised. Firstly, the steps. There are steps to the apartment but they are spread out with breaks in between and the reward, as you mention, is the outstanding view! We do appreciate that it isn't suitable for people with mobility issues and make this very clear in our advert. As we understand it, you injured your knee on holiday and had to return home early, which I'm sure was a cause of frustration and understandably would taint your view of your stay. Had you informed our property manager we could have found you alternative accommodation. The blind in the kitchen is working, our property manager has checked it. We only lock one side of the wardrobe in the second bedroom to store laundry, the other side is available to use for hanging clothes - the door slides to open. With regard to the fridge door shelf, we have tried unsuccessfully to find a replacement shelf as the model of fridge has been discontinued. We stayed there ourselves in the summer and removed a bottom shelf so that we could store tall items like juice and wine in the bottom of the fridge but have taken your comments on board and have a new integrated fridge on order. The patio table and chairs are very high quality but being outside in direct sunlight they have faded. We are sorry that you found this unappealing and will look at some new patio furniture when we visit later this month. If you are considering our apartment please rest assured that we take a lot of pride in our beautiful home from home. The service you will receive from our property managers Dean and Gill is exemplary from booking through to arrival and they are always on hand should you have any queries before or during your stay. Perfect location close to the shops/restaurants & beach

The apartment was clean. We ate out most of the time but the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The beds are very comfortable & linen/towels changed once a week. Lovely balcony with lovely views of the pool & sea. The loungers are not as shown on the photos (no lounger cushions) & although the chairs had cushions to sit on, there was only one with a cushion for the back so not very comfy. The apartment is alarmed & secure with a safe. Instructions were easy to follow, although you need to touch any button on the control panel to wake it up before entering the code which we were not aware of. The swimming pool was lovely. 2 showers & toilets available. Well maintained & clean. Plenty of room & very quiet. A lot of the plastic loungers had splits in the slats so could do with being replaced. It’s been mentioned in other reviews that there are lots of steps. There are about 80 steps to the apartment. Not a problem for us but could be for some. The complex has a lot of permanent residents which we didn’t realise. It wasn’t a problem but visitors need to be respectful of this. No air con but being on the top floor allowed us to open the windows at night. Air con would be a good idea & I would be happy to pay extra for it. Communication with Dean was excellent.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie es in dem Inserat beschrieben war. Besonders hervorzuheben war die Sauberkeit im Appartement sowie in der gesamten Anlage. Auch war es sehr ruhig und dennoch sehr zentral. Das Appartement war relativ gut ausgestattet. Einige Kleinigkeiten könnten mal erneuert bzw.renoviert werden. So fehlte z.bsp eine Teekanne sowie Auflagen für die Liegen. Der Tisch auf der Terrasse ist auch sehr unansehnlich. Dafür sind die Betten hervorragend. Schön war das nach einer Woche der Putzdienst da war und Handtücher sowie Bettzeug gewechselt wurde. Auch wurde gründlich sauber gemacht. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Unbeatably good!

This is an excellent apartment in a quiet and beautifully situated complex. I have been staying regularly at Puerto Del Carmen for the last 12 years or so and this is the best place I have stayed yet. Yes, there are steps, but I have never stayed anywhere at PDC where there isn’t a climb, as this isn’t Benidorm. The apartment was is well-appointed, the communication from Dean, the property manager, was first-rate and the complex, with some permanent residents, is a delight. Can’t recommend it too highly!

Zentral, ruhig, gepflegt, schöne Aussicht

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit echtem Meerblick vom Balkon. Ruhig, obwohl zentral gelegen und auf oberer Ebene direkt am Pool. Bequeme Betten, modernes Bad, ordentlich eingerichtet und gepflegt. Was allerdings zur Vollständigkeit in der Beschreibung des Anbieters erwähnt werden sollte, sind die 1001 Treppenstufen in die oberen Etagen. Dadurch definitiv nicht für jeden geeignet. Dean war sehr freundlich und sofort zur Stelle, als wir ein Anliegen hatten. Einziger Wermutstropfen war der zu kleine Kühlschrank mit defekten Flaschenfach in der Tür, und der nicht wirklich lokalisierbare Geruch in manchen Bereichen der Küche nach geschmolzenem Stinkekäse. Wir hoffen, Sie konnten die Ursache finden und beheben. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Nice apartment!

Pros: Location is perfect , close to everything yet nice and quiet. Communication with owners was very good. Online Check-in via an app once downloaded very simple. Sun on balcony from mid day onwards , pool area very nice . Apartment was spotlessly clean . Cons: Apartment bedrooms get very warm and with no aircon must be unbearable in peak summer. Bedrooms and kitchen are overlooked directly by apartments opposite so window blinds would give some privacy other than having to close the black out curtains . Water pressure in shower and sink not good. Internet TV not great as didn’t appear to be enough bandwidth to work properly . We would not hesitate to book this apartment again as it really is a nice place to stay and we had a fantastic time .

Lovely holiday

The apartment is lovely there's everything you need, the balcony area is spacious with table and chairs and 2 comfortable sun loungers. It's so close to all the bars and restaurants so no need for walking. Be aware there's a lot of steps as it's on the top floor, no problems for us but maybe difficult if elderly.

Objekt mit Höhen und Tiefen

Positiv ist die wirklich zentrale und recht ruhige Lage in Puerto del Carmen. Die Außenanlagen rund um die Poolanlage sind gut gepflegt und wirklich ein Highlight. Das Appartment wurde wahrscheinlich renoviert, dass wird aber schon einige Zeit her sein. Der Komfort und die Einrichtung sind als eher spartanisch zu bezeichnen. Aus dem Abfluss der Dusche stinkt es erbärmlich. Alles in allem ein gerade mal durchschnittliches Angebot.

Well equipped apartment

Good location near bars and new town, a short walk to the old town, despite being near bars the apartment was totally quiet. Being on the top floor was great as not overlooked and had privacy. Balcony with loungers and chairs was excellent to sit on especially in the afternoon as was in the sun The apartment was very clean and beds so comfy. Decent WiFi and the TV setup was the best we’d every stayed in there were recent films to stream. We hired a car to explore the island and had no problem parking it by the back gate of apartment block
