Wonderful scenario

The apartment has a wonderful view and is located in a small pleasant village. We were well received and shown to arrange. Access to the house is a little challenging as you can not drive up to it. There is a stair path up to the house and access to a nice underground car park nearby. We had a little challenge with a missing gas grill, but it was sorted out. The conclusion is, that it is a nice place in a fantastic area with great opportunities for excursions . We could find ourselves going there again.

Skøn ferie i Laglio

Vi havde et skønt ophold i lejligheden i Laglio. Området er ikke præget af turisme, hvilket vi godt kan lide. Der er lokale restauranter i gåafstand. Udsigten er fantastisk og man kan bruge meget tid på terrassen og nyde udsigten og livet på søen. Vi lejede båd i Argegno (Turati), hvilket kan anbefales. Køkkenet er fint og der mangler ikke noget. Det er dejligt at bade i søen og det sted vi valgte var lige ved trapperne til lejligheden. Poolområdet er fint, men vi savnede flere solsenge, så vi kunne være der flere ad gangen. Hynderne på vores solsenge på terrasse var meget slidt med huller og snavs.

Fantastisk oplevelse, alt levede op til vores forventninger!

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold, alt levede op til beskrivelser af lejlighed og område. Lejligheden ligger i et roligt område med lokale restauranter i gå afstand og en helt uovertruffen udsigt. Lejligheden var i perfekt stand og den store altan/balkon med spisebord og solstole, blev flittigt brugt. Man kan sidde i timevis og nyde livet på Comosøen fra balkonen som ligger blot 70m væk. Vi har fra start haft en rigtig god dialog med udlejer/værten, hun har været utrolig hjælpsom med anbefalinger af seværdigheder osv. Vi kan varmt anbefale denne ejendom med egen parkering i aflåst garage og område for en ferie - vi kommer gerne igen. De bedste hilsner Jens Hoff

Clean property with great pool

Property is very clean and tidy with a lovely swimming pool. Location is quiet so a car is required. Biggest problem was the 80 steps to the apartment. Parking is generally not available so you have to use garage. Around 5 mins away but a pain when carrying shopping or luggage in 30c. Overall, a nice apartment but for reason above would not stay again

Thank you Paul for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed the views, the cleanliness of the home and the pool. We are sorry you would not contemplate staying here another time. We do try our best to be transparent with the information on the advert. Indeed we write on the advert and I quote... Private garage parking space 5 minutes walk from home plus communal parking at the bottom of the steps beneath the home. Please note steps access the home may deem the home unsuitable for elderly, infirm or small children. Please ask when booking. Had you aired any issue with us prior to booking relating to the above information written on our advertisement we would have advised that the home is suitable for most guests if reasonably fit of all ages, we have guests in their 70's who return every year without any issues regarding the 80 steps you mention to access the home. That said we understand it is not for everyone hence this is why we draw our guests attention to these matters and advise if an issue NOT TO BOOK. You're stay coincided with a heatwave in Europe where even in Poland it was at times 38 degrees! Fortunately and unlike most homes on the lake we have air conditioning for you to relax and take in those glorious views. Most guests park in the communal spaces either at the bottom of the steps or along the lake as we do when we arrive to meet guests on arrival and departure. Perhaps when you stayed as in August and peak holiday season it was busier than usual however we still managed to find a space without fail each time we arrived during your stay plus you have a private garage 5 minutes walk or less to park if you preferred so parking is never an issue for our guests. Thank you once more for your feedback. We are sorry you won't be returning but perhaps given your comments it is for the best and we understand.

Lovely lakeside retreat with spectacular view

This apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location for a relaxing stay on Lake Como. My wife, daughter and I had a great holiday based here in Laglio. The apartment has everything you need (including a/c and a small pool), in a quiet location with great views, so much so we spent many an hour simply sitting on the terrace watching life on the lake. Laglio is a quiet village although there are a few nice restaurants within walking distance or a few minutes drive. It's only 15 minutes drive to Como and all the other places you'd want to visit are easily accessible by car and/or boat. The one and only downside is that there are about 80 rough steps up to the apartment complex from the road so access will not be suitable for everyone.

Lovely holiday in Como

We booked this apartment for a week,for my husband, myself, our daughter and her boyfriend. We had never been to the Italian Lakes so a new experience for us all. The apartment was beautifully located up on a hill overlooking the Lake, be aware when it says steps to the apartment, it means about 30 pebbly steps, which with heavy cases and someone with a hip problem, quite a challenge! The facilities in the apartment were excellent and we cooked for ourselves on the barbeque on 2 occasions. There are 3 very nice restaurants which are within walking distance to the apartment, other places you need to drive or get taxis, the latter are not cheap. Laglio is a quiet town and if you want hustle and bustle, probably not the place to be.We travelled around the lake in our car and also took a boat out ourselves twice, which is the best way to see everything around the Lake. Julie was a great representative, very helpful and booked restaurants for us. We would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful location.

Amazing view

We stayed here for a week in June and had a great time at this lovely apartment. The apartment is in excellent condition and everything is as new. The items inside are of a high standard, decent knives, nice wine glasses, nespresso machine etc. Air con works very well too. As stated the view is to die for, however it's worth noting there are a few steps you need to walk up to get to the apartment. If for example, and this is not to be disrespectful, you were elderly or not particularly strong you may struggle to get heavy luggage cases up on your own. I'd recommend a car as the nearest proper supermarket is some 30 mins away and while you can get buses a car is much easier and means you can make the most of exploring the amazing surroundings Overall we absolutely loved our stay here. Laglio is a lovely place, not too touristy but still has a few local restaurants many of which are very good. Hope I can come back soon and would definitely stay at this apartment again! Would also like to thank Julie who was our contact for the stay and really went out of her way to look after us as well as recommending some fantastic restaurants.

Meandering cobbled paths, a local bar just a few minutes walk from the home serving excellent wine, snacks with superb local produce as we'll as delicious ice-cream. There are also two authentic restaurants located within walking distance from the home as well as a mini market for convenience of shopping.
The home and village boast majestic views, lazy walks along the lakeside and a relaxing atmosphere reminiscent of bygone days. Just 10 minutes by car will take you to busier villages, the ferry to access the whole lake and boutique shopping. But if you are in need of recharging one's batteries, escaping the tourist mass and living amongst the locals and enjoying the olde world charm of Laglio, be like Mr Clooney and spend your summer holiday sampling the dolce vita of this unique village today.
