Self Catering, High End Specification Family Accomodation with shared Pool

Both sitting on 10 acres of private grounds consisting of gardens, orchards and woodland with a magnificent fully stocked carp / course fishing lake. Take advantage of the tranquil setting and observe an abundance of wildlife. Fulfil your interests in ornithology and insects or take a ramble along one of the many pathways. The area is also popular with cyclists and has a variety of routes available. The region offers fantastic chateaux, shopping, interesting museums, impressive golf courses and stunning scenery all around. La Cerniére is situated on the edge of Dénézé sous Le Lude, near to the Abbaye de la Boissiére. This sleepy backwater is between Le Lude and Noyant in the Loire Valley. We are pet friendly here at La Cerniére as we have two friendly female dogs at our home on site. Please advise us if you intend to bring your family pet along with you so we can be prepared.
All bed linen and towels are supplied in both accommodations. A further single bed or travel cot can be supplied upon request.

Beautiful location

We had a very pleasant stay in this gite. The location is very beautiful and a little paradise for fisher men. The owners are very friendly, as is the dog ;-)

A pleasent stay with helpful hosts

Well equiped and brakages replaced promptly . We stayed during the heatwave and found the atic bedrooms to be extremly hot, air con' would be a distict advantage. Also the double bed frame and matress were very noisey, creaking with every movement.

Relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in this lovely gite. The owners are very friendly and helpful; they had provided a generous welcome pack and offered us vegetables from their garden during the stay. The gite itself is well appointed and comfortable. The facilities within the grounds are fantastic, in particular, for families. It’s also very dog friendly so all of us had fun! It offers a real chance to relax and get away from it all whilst remaining within easy reach of towns & cities and the attractions the area has to offer. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gite to anyone - thanks for such a lovely holiday!

We, Paul and Lesley live here at La Cerniére with our pet Labrador Kia.

After buying a house nearby and spending many of our holidays visiting we fell in love with the area and decided to move out here in semi retirement in April 2013.

Once we had converted the Barns into 2 self contained Gites over the space of a year we decided to offer these as rental for our UK visitors.

One of our close friends came to visit and as she was nearing her retirement decided that she would love to rent the smaller gite (Les Pins) on a permanent basis.

High recommendation indeed.

We have made many friends and learned a considerable amount about the surrounding area which we will be more than pleased to share with our guests at La Cerniére.

We adore the peace and tranquillity of this location. The wildlife never fails to impress us and Lesley's love of photography now knows no bounds.

You can just relax and enjoy the peace an quiet or see all that the region has to offer.
