There was everything we needed and more and so close to all amenities a in the town. Contact with the owner for any questions was amazing and quickly answered. Very helpful in every way. Extremely clean and bright apartment. Really enjoyed it and felt very comfortable there.
Great location and property but the Home Away website is very difficult to negotiate

Comfortable compact city appartment
Location ideal, right in centre of Beverley. Appartment spotless (thanks to Anne please!) and contained everything we needed for a short break. Decorated and furnished to a high standard and bed very comfortable. Rooms very compact but survived without bumping head! Electric fan much appreciated.

Clean and convenient
The Morley Mews flat was very clean and as described and was extremely convenient for visiting both Beverley and Hull, which was our aim. Nicola, the owner, was very friendly and helpful prior to our arrival and afterwards. But there were a few niggles. In my opinion Nicola has been a bit ambitious putting a double bed in the loft room. Although I had seen the picture of the sloping ceiling with a very low bar beside the bed, I was not able to avoid bumping my head on it several times, even though I am only 5'2" tall and was trying to avoid it! However, views of the Minster and the dawn from the loft window were lovely!
The heating did not come on at first and Nicola offered to come out next morning, but we managed to fix it by changing the batteries in the control panel (we found spare batteries in the kitchen cupboard). Then there was a leak from the bath taps upstairs through the ceiling, which was alarming and spoiled my partner's enjoyment of his relaxing bath. I did inform Nicola about this maintenance issue. Also on the first evening, we wanted a quick easy meal after our journey but it took both of us reading and re-reading the cooker instructions and repeated attempts to get the oven on and then to stay on. Throughout our stay we had to keep re-starting the oven in order to heat something through. As Nicola managed to leave us some clear instructions on how to deal with heating, rubbish and keys, etc. it would have been helpful to leave a few tips on how to get the oven on and keep it on! Also in the kitchen, all the pans and lids were in a very high cupboard which I could only reach by standing on a chair and even my partner struggled to extract pans from without them all falling on his head. Oh and toilet seat in the en suite bathroom was extremely loose and actually came off altogether on the first morning. My partner managed to fix it back a bit more securely than how we had found it. However, we enjoyed our stay and were mostly very comfortable and there were lots of kind and helpful touches such as bath non-slip mat, oven glove, shampoo, tissues, left for visitors. The area was very pleasant and close to both Tescos and the pedestrian area of Beverley.

Quiet and central stay.
The apartment was "bijou" but had everything we needed. The main problem (which others have commented on) was the sloping ceiling in the bedroom which, although forewarned is forearmed, still means you bump your head occasionally no matter how hard you try. Otherwise, everything was very clean, modern and comfortable and very near to all amenities (to be even quicker into town take the short cut through the church grounds). A bit more information about local amenities would have been useful, e.g. restaurants and take aways, shops, health services and taxis. Having said that we did discover on the very last night ,a collection of information on the hospital and local places of interest in the footstool/coffee table but we didn't know it opened!. Beverley is a lovely town and both it and nearby Hull have plenty of things to do and see.

Lovely flat, but not without drawbacks
The apartment is very well located, in the centre of Beverley, which is an attractive old market town. We found the apartment clean, tidy, well-equipped and secure. The downstairs room, which encompasses the kitchen, lounge and dining area, is perfectly comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom, however, have sloping ceilings, making life difficult, especially getting in and out of bed. Parking is also a challenge. We were provided with a parking permit, so it was free, but could not find a place closer than an eight minute walk away. Also, the pub next door was noisy during our stay, with a DJ playing loud music in the courtyard. Despite these factors, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location in Beverley!
This apartment was in a perfect location in Beverley, within minutes walking distance of the central market square, pedestrian shopping areas, a Tesco, the Minster, Westwood, and anything else in town that one would want to explore. The kitchen was fully equipped and well-designed. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Upstairs, however, in that wonderful ight-filled bedroom, headspace is scarce, and a tall or large person might bang his or her head.
We loved hearing the church bells ring through the windows, and seeing the Minster through the skylight.
Parking was easily found just a few blocks away, over by the Tesco, and from there it was easy to drive in and out of the city.
Some nights there was party noise audible from The King's Head pub next door, but otherwise the apartment was in a lovely quiet location.
It was a great apartment from which to explore the East Riding.

This apartment had everything we needed - and more
Nicola met us and gave us the rundown on this clean, comfortable and cosy apartment. Its central location means that shops, restaurants, places of interest and 24hour permit parking are all within a five minute walk. We hope to return next year for the Beverley Folk Festival.

Why they chose this property
A bought this property as I just fell in love with it, and fancied weekends away, the location is fantastic for nights out or lunches and shopping days. The new shopping centre that is currently being built will bring more benefits, with cinema's being within walking distance, more shops and more restaurant!! Plenty of interesting local attractions.
