Lovely villa with stunning views. Our hosts Francis and his wife could not have been more helpful. The nearby beach was beautiful and the restaurants, especially Monato were great. For the fittest of us, it was possible to walk down, but a car is really a necessity. We all had a fabulous time and were sad to leave.

Ein Traum! Tolle Villa mit allen Annehmlichkeiten - ein Wahnsinns Ausblicklick

Wir waren 4 Familien und verbrachten einen unvergesslichen Urlaub auf Lefkada! Die Villa Margaux verfügt über viele Annehmlichkeiten! Eine geräumige Küche, schöne und saubere Zimmer! Beim Frühstück konnten wir jeden Tag im Schatten den herrlichen - fast kitschigen Ausblick aufs Meer genießen! Jeden Abend waren traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge zu beobachten, die genossen wir dann gemütlich bei einem Achterl Wein auf der gemütlichen Lounge! Auch der Pool war ein Traum! Die Villa wurde auch zwischendurch gereinigt, die beiden Hausbesorger standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und gaben uns viele wertvolle Tipps! Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub! Jederzeit wieder!

posizione fantastica

questa Villa ha una posizione fantastica a picco sul mare, sembra di essere su una nave. Arredamento sia esterno che interno essenziale e poco curato ed anche fuori misura (un divano impedisce l'apertura di un balcone ed un armadio non consente l'utilizzo di un comodino) ma la posizione mette in secondo piano alcuni difetti generali dell'arredo. Mentre ero lì, il proprietario/gestore Francis è entrato nel cancello ed ha chiesto di poter far vedere la casa ad altre persone e da persona gentile io ho acconsentito pensando che dietro ad una richiesta (anche in periodo Covid e con estranei) c'è sempre un'esigenza. Purtroppo alla mia richiesta di poter lasciare la casa alle 10 invece che alle 9 la gentilezza non è stata ricambiata e c'è stato un categorico rifiuto motivato dal Covid (come tutto in questi tempi). Dispiace per questo ultimo rifiuto che h reso più difficile la gestione dei bambini ed anche perchè non ci ha consentito di lasciare le cose in ordine e forse chi doveva far le pulizie ci ha messo anche di più dell'ora che non hanno voluto concedere. Il consiglio è quello di essere più attenti alle esigenze del cliente, soprattutto quando sono assolutamente ragionevoli e non di difficile soluzione. Ad una richiesta ragionevole e gentile deve sempre esserci una risposta ragionevole e gentile. Io ho detto si alla richiesta di Francis, ma lui ha detto categoricamente no alla mia. Mi dispiace molto perchè per una piccola cosa il soggiorno fantastico è stato leggermente declassato

Unvergessliche Sonnenuntergänge

Super ausgestattete und gepflegte Villa mit Pool auf genialer Terrasse, die unvergessliche Sonnenuntergänge bietet. Sehr nette Vermieter und Hausverwalter, die prima Tipps geben und sich um alles kümmern ohne die Privatsphäre zu stören. Der Fußweg zum Strand dauert aber 15 Minuten. Sofort wieder!

villa op schitterende lokatie. vlakbij strand en toch rustig. Iedere avond genieten van prachtige zonsondergang. We waren er ruim 2 weken met 2 families maar zowel binnen als buiten veel ruimte om terug te trekken of juist gezamenlijke activiteiten te ondernemen. Sterke aanrader!

Eine herrliche Lage über dem Strand von Kathisma. Vermieter und Mitarbeiter sehr Hilfsbereit bei der Anreise und Betreuung.Wochenmitte wurde die ganze Villa und der Pool gereinigt.Sogar frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden gewechselt.Super Service bekommt man nicht überall. Auto oder Motorrad zumEinkaufen und zum Strand erforderlich. Wir waren 11Pers.und alle schwärmen von dieser großartigen Villa.Ganz besonderen Dank an Francis und Ilse fuer die Hilfestellung bei unseren Notfall. Jassu nach Lefkas und wir werden uns Wiedersehen! It was heaven!!

It really is better than you can imagine from the photos. House was great. Pool was perfect and the view just amazing. Lots of space and very private. The owners and the local caretakers were SO helpful, without being intrusive in any way. My only issue is that while you can walk down to the beach, it’s a rather a hike back up! So we ended up driving more than We anticipated. But we did love the beach and the delicious meals we had at the local tavernas on the beach. All In All, it was heaven!

Excelente propiedad, muy bien ubicada, sobre la excelente y concurrida playa de Katishma, cerca del lindo pueblo de Agios Nikitas y a 20 minutos de la ciudad de Lefkada. Muy buenos anfitriones Francis e Ilse. Se preocuparon de todos los detalles. Muy buen servicio de limpieza dos veces por semana. Como siempre, hay un par de detalles a mejorar: accesorios de cocina, wi-fi primer piso y servicio de cable de TV, todos a nivel básico para el valor y calidad de la propiedad.

Die Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Wunderschöner Außenbereich. Schöne Zimmer . Traumhafter Ausblick. Zum Strand sollte ein Roller bzw. Auto vorhanden sein. Francis wohnt gleich neben an , ca. 100 Meter Luftlinie . Er hilft sofort wenn irgendetwas wäre (hatten Stromausfall), lässt den Besuchern aber absolut Ihre Ruhe damit man absolut entspannen kann. Waren zu 12t im Haus und wir würden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Vielen dank für die schöne Woche. Andi

An amazing villa with beautiful views. Well equipped, close to the beach and Aghios Nakitos.

A beautiful villa on a beautiful island. The owner is close by and is very helpful with any queries you might have with regard to places to eat or visit. Having just returned from a two week family holiday would highly recommend staying here. Lovely restaurants close by and a short distant from the beach. The pool at the villa is well maintained and the children enjoyed every minute spent in it. The villa is very well equipped and well maintained. Would certainly return. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Relaxing Place With Sunsets To Die For!

We stayed at Villa Margaux for 8 days in August 16 and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. We were two families with teenage kids and so 10 in total though the villa comfortably sleeps 12. Location was perfect being far enough away from the main tourist locations to be quiet enough whilst everything near at hand for shops, restaurants and other activities. The best thing about the villa - and what it has clearly been designed for - is outdoor living and that is exactly what we did. There is a huge patio area for relaxing by the (large) pool, sunbathing, sitting/sleeping in the shade and of course al fresco drinking and dining. There is also a large outdoor BBQ area complete with separate pizza oven.The villa is perched on the mountainside above a large (though very busy beach) with 180 degree views out to sea and as it is west facing you get the most amazing sunsets every night. Perfect for star gazing by the way too. The villa is very private and quiet (so long as the music from the beach bars far below isn't cranked up to full blast!). You will also get to see lots of paraglider as they silently and gracefully pass overhead on their way down to the beach landing sites and we all had a go which was certainly a highlight of the trip. The villa owners, Francis and Ilse, live next door and were both very helpful both in advance and during our stay. Though they were totally unobtrusive and left us to it, they were also always on hand if we wanted them to help deal with any issues that might crop up (we didn't have any though) or to offer advice on local activities and restaurants. The whole villa has recently been renovated with extra en suites, air con etc and was immaculately clean throughout. So all in all, a wonderful and highly recommended place to stay if you are heading to this very relaxing island. Regards, The Wrigley and Holden Families

Wonderful holyday in Kathisma

We rented the villa on the base of the site pictures and were pleasently surprised to find reality being even better than the pictures. The house was completly renovated, very well equiped and confortable. Fantastic pool terrasse with incredibly beach view. We had a great Holiday. See you next year. Thank you Francis
