Thanks for your kind review. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay in Rose cottage. Best wishes
The cottage is very clean and pretty with a lovely garden that is a real sun trap. It is actually more spacious than the photos show. Well equipped kitchen. Fantastic Yorkshire tea loaf (thank you!).We went for a dip in the local waterfalls, hired bikes from Reeth and did the Swale trail (20km Reeth to Keld; great fun but very hilly in the latter part!), did lots of walks around Keld to Muker with a pub lunch in the Farmers Arms. Thank you for a great week. We definitely plan on returning to Rose cottage.

Gorgeous cottage right in the heart of a small hamlet. Cottage had everything we needed and much bigger than it looks from the outside. The shower was the best shower I have ever had in a holiday cottage! Parking was easy either outside the cottage or in the hamlet centre. The Keld waterfall walk basically starts from the cottage and is highly recommended. Stunning area and so many beautiful walks to go on. It is remote so you need to stock up with provisions before you arrive. There is a campsite shop if you run out of essentials. So many lovely places to visit nearby, highly recommend this lovely cottage and beautiful part of the UK.

Yes the cottage is a lot bigger than it seems , I sometimes describe it as the Tardis!

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Spacious, immaculate, and extremely well kitted out, cosy with gorgeous views from every window. The host, Alison, was friendly and welcoming, leaving us a Yorkshire Tea Cake on our arrival and coming to greet us early in the visit. A beautiful spot to explore the Dales. We hope to return one day!

Roomy and cozy stay
We had a great stay at the Rose cottage. Welcomed with some lovely flowers and the well known delicious cake, we soon felt at home. Keld is a perfect place for hiking and there are definately some nice places in the Dales to visit. A good place when you want to hike or relax and be a bit away from the hectic life.
