La Porta Rossa is located at the heart of Bologna, a 5-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, in a quiet street, in one of the most unspoiled areas of the center of Bologna. The apartment is in the context of a renovated and elegant building and is elegantly furnished and equipped with all the comfort, specifically made and finished in order to be destined to be temporary rented. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, large living room with sofa bed all for you exclusively. Oriented toward the inside part of the building is completely quiet and peaceful. It also has a large terrace with dining table. Equipped with air conditioning, very fast wi-fi and complete with washing machine and dryer. In the living room there is a large screen television. The building has an elevator heading down to the floor of the parking space. You can park in the garage at the daily price of 25 EUR plus city tax of access to the LTZ of 6 euro for entry. From the station, the apartment is a 15 minute walk, otherwise you can take one of the many buses that travel along the nearby Independence and Marconi streets. From the airport we suggest to take a taxi which cost does not usually exceed 25 euro. The presence of a garage allows easy access by car.

Location, location, location! The apartment was in the heart of the city and a quick walk to anywhere you wanted to be. We were warmly greeted by our hosts and they were as invested in us having a great stay as we were. They provided us a list of their favorites so that we could enjoy the city as a local and were very responsive to our questions. Bologna is a beautiful city which we enjoyed more than Florence. The apartment is clean, spacious and we enjoyed cooking and doing laundry! We had a fortunate meeting with our host at the train station. They chatted with us as we waiting on our delayed train made sure we boarded and sent us off with a heartwarming good bye. A nice touch to end a great stay. The Jasmine Terrace, a straight forward 18min walk to Bologna Centrale, and was our jumping off point for day/overnight trips to Florence, Milan, Rome, Ravenna and Venice, and a comfortable rest point in between. Even just walking around Bologna, window shopping, walking to various squares, and poking into nearby museums was enjoyable. The spacious apartment was well equipped and worked well for 2 couples. And we enjoyed the terrace whether for a morning coffee or evening dinner. Our hosts were welcoming and gracious, and we recommend!

What I liked when I choose La Porta Rossa is the context, the very central zone, the historical, elegant building. Finding a fairly large terrace and a garage are not common features in the center of Bologna. But the most surprising aspect of the apartment is the absolute peace and tranquility that characterizes it.
