Absolutely enjoyed this property and the location close to the city center.
Roberto met us at midnight with our late arrival and helped locate parking. Thank for for a wonderful experience in this Gem of a city!
Thankyou Keith, it was a pleasure!
It was nice to meet you and your wife.
Best self catering ever!
My wife and I would call ourselves seasoned travellers who love to do our own thing on our many trips at home and abroad.
Over the years our expectations regarding accommodation have risen exponentially.
Imagine our sheer delight on finding a place that ticked all of the boxes for us.
Well appointed, bright, airy rooms. Walk-in-wardrobe.
Spacious bathroom with washing machine in situ.
The small ( but big to us ) touches were; duo coloured towels, linen bed sheets and super breathable mattress cover, large teapot with 6 varieties of English teas, mugs instead of cups, coffee, honey, barley drink, oils, balsamic and cider vinegars all left compliments of Roberto & Angela.
The quality of cutlery, delph and cooking utensils were all top class. User friendly areas for quick access to possessions (top shelf in wardrobe had separate inserted compartments for belts, socks etc) Shower fitted with 100% non slip surface and fully adjustable head and flow.
Everything about the place worked for us. We found our hosts to be informative, helpful and genuinely friendly.
We would have no hesitation in totally recommending this delightful gem ( oh..and there is a garden you can sit out in too ).
thank you so much for your lovely words! We are extremely happy to hear you and Philomena enjoyed your stay in our home in Bologna.
It truly is our pleasure that our little touches made you feel welcomed and we (and our cat) really loved to host you.
We wish you both all the best and hope to see you again soon!

Hidden and cool
We can highly recommend the "Hidden garden" for a stay in Bologna. Not only is it quiet and clean but also a cool place in a sizzling hot city.
Dear Johann, thank you so much for your lovely words! We are extremely happy to hear you and Ingrid enjoyed your stay in our home in Bologna.
Perfect place for exploring the lovely city of Bologna
Roberto the host is really nice and accommodating. The property itself is clean with all your basic needs. We had a pleasant stay.
Great location & wonderful hosts!
The location was very convenient to see all the sights but not in the thick of all of the tourist traffic. The quaint apartment was well equipped with everything I needed for my stay. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The owners, Roberto & Angela were the best. Not only did they recommend restaurants, pastry shop & gelateria (very close by) but they helped me through a difficult time when I needed to go to the hospital. I would not hesitate to rent this place again.
Tish & David have been very nice and pleasent, left the house perfect! Tish is delightful, even if she had an unexpected problem, she’s been brave and positive and didn’t let her down. We really hope to meet them again.
Ken and his wife were very nice, tidy and left the house in order. I hope the stay in Bologna at my facility was as you hoped.
Thanks for everything and I hope to see you again
The Hidden Garden is located in the Santo Stefano district, one of the most central and refined in the city. In just 5/10 minutes walk you can reach the famous Two Towers, the impressive Piazza delle Sette Chiese, Piazza Maggiore, the shopping streets, the university area, the historic market or the verdant Giardini Margherita.
Nearby you will find a well-stocked 24 hour Market.
A short walk from home the best ice cream parlor in the city will pamper you with its unique tastes.
We are also at the foot of the Bolognese hills, if you love hiking in a few steps you will find yourself immersed in nature, you will seem to be far from the city.
along the paths you will meet the hermitages and convents dating back to the Middle Ages, then go back to the city to be welcomed by the enveloping porticoes that characterize Bologna and lose you on medieval streets framed by palaces that witness an architectural continuum ranging from year 1000 to today , unique thing in the world!
The Museum of Music, the Municipal Art Collections, the City Museum and the Museum of Upholstery, you must know that in the fifteenth and the nineteenth century, Bologna was the European market center for the silk market held in the current Galvani Square .
I could write a thousand anecdotes and curiosities but I would not mind the pages ... come and see how amazing my Bologna is.
