Charming house by the sea

The place

The Villa is in a picturesque location below the lighthouse of Gelso, separated from the sea by only 18 meters of volcanic stones.

The atmosphere of the terraces is unparalleled, ending in an area enhanced by a built-in gazebo.
The villa has three bedrooms.

First one has a king size bed, in-room bathroom with a box shower.

Second one has a king size bed and a bunk bed.

Third one has two single beds, and it is a beautiful wooden attic with a panoramic view of the sea.

On top of that, the house has a lounge with kitchenette and fireplace, a bathroom with shower, a large covered outdoor kitchen, a terrace overlooking the sea and sun terrace.
The property also includes the seafront garden terraces and gazebos.

The neighborhood

Gelso is a small resort on the island of Vulcano, mainly inhabited by local fishermen, walking distance to the beaches of black sand, restaurants and kiosks by the sea.

From here, with a small dip to get around the rocks, you can reach Spiaggia dell'Asino, otherwise accessible driving inland.

Getting around

There are only two rides from Gelso with public transportation to the harbour/centre. One in the morning and one midafternoon.

Other info:

It's highly recommended to rent or have a car, because the house is located about 15 km from Vulcano harbour.

Each island has limited water supply. Despite the good capacity of the tanks and the reserves, careful management is recommended, avoid unnecessary waste.
