Eagles Dream" is a newly built three level, 2 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin that offers a quaint wooded view setting. The cabin is located only 3 miles from the Arts and Crafts community in Gatlinburg. It is just a few short minutes from downtown, and all the area's most popular attractions. The cabin is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated with custom log furniture .
-Eagle Dreams is one of the tree cabins that are located in the private complex Birds Eye View as Sweet Hummingbird #821696 and Falcon Nest #821888 ,and Brand new 2017 two more cabins,Condor 's Wing #1027736 and Swallow 'S Love #1027229, just 500 feet one of the other . This cabin is great for the whole family.
Dining In? Enjoy the added convenience of a fully equipped kitchen on the main level with stainless steel appliances, all your cooking needs and the dining area. A queen bedroom with a bath is located on this level as well.
The lower level has a King bedroom with a bath. Also on this level is another gaming area for the kids with an Foosball table and twin bunks. Outside on the covered deck you will find the Hot tub to soak your weary bones after a great day of hiking in the national park.
The open upstairs loft features the pool table and also has an a queen bed.

Great cabin

It was a great cabin to stay in only problem i had was the light outside in the front was flashing really bad but other then that it was a wonderful stay.

Communication

The only 2 major issues we had was 1- the tv didn’t work for the first 2 days we were there. There’s satellite with directv however, we kept getting an error message when trying to watch it. The owner sent the maintenance man to our cabin while we were gone! Didn’t tell us anyone was coming by or anything! We were FURIOUS over that! 2- the fireplace didn’t work. 3- communication with the owner is nearly impossible. It would take hours/days for them to respond. So if you have an immediate issue, good luck because you definitely won’t get a quick response. The cabin was very well cleaned, the parking was terrible though! The living room seating is not the best as it’s 2 small couches that only sit 2 people each. So a cabin that sleeps 8-9 people can only sit 4 in the living room. The kitchen table only has 6 chairs so that’s kind of an issue for people who might have more than 6 staying with them. Also there is no hot water in the kitchen.

Plenty of beds, not enough seating

When we got to the property the door code given didn’t work. I didn’t have phone service to check the message with the information, the host didn’t answer the first call and subsequent calls said the Verizon user was unavailable. I called my husband at home and had him send a message to the host. She responded promptly and gave a different code as the first one was for a different cabin. The bedrooms were nice. We were all in awe of them getting the pool table to the loft. Seriously, how? The hot tub was enjoyed by the teens in the group. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. An extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom would have been nice. For a cabin that can sleep 8, it was very light on towels and wash cloths. We had to wash them each night to have enough to go around. The sitting room is the first room you walk into and it had a two love seats, (so enough seating for 4 people) tv, gas log fireplace, and coffee table. The loft is open above the sitting room with plenty of room for another couch and a desk and chair. The basement (very steep stairs) has a bunk bed and foosball table. The rest of the very large room is open. It could hold a whole seating area and/or another bed. The basement bedroom was nice and secluded. Overall, we liked the cabin and our stay. Would have just liked to be able to all sit and visit in one room.

Why they chose this property

We purchase in 2012 this private mountain, where we build 3 cabins which are , "sweet hummingbird, “falcons nest, “eagles dream.Have panoramic sitting high on the mountain.
It's great location to everything, Shopping, Hiking, Great Smoky Mountains, Dinner Shows. You could be there for a week and do something different and new every day.
We have tried to provide our guests the opportunity to stay in our cabins for wedding events and family reunions. Providing side by side cabins offers togetherness and privacy at the same time.

What makes this property unique

The benefits that I enjoy most are the beautiful mountain views, hiking in the woods and the quiet setting. The cabins are located on a small country road with just an occasional car passing by, which is a real treat for someone who lives in one of the most heavily populated areas , easy access to all of the amenities offered by Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, yet located in a secluded, heavily wooded, quiet area with beautiful mountain views.
Our cabin has a cozy warm feeling to it with comfort being our biggest priority.
