We have a traditional Highlands Victorian home with a sitting front porch and backyard for entertaining with a a fire pit. We are a charming 5 bedroom home that sleeps 10 people comfortably.

This property is in great location and the house was fine but it could have been amazing. The downstairs bedroom is the best one in house but doesn’t even have a real bed. The sofa bed is horrible needs to be trashed.. the bedrooms on 2nd and 3rd floor fine but not great. Limited towels and not great quality. The kitchen only has mis matched dishes and really not that functional. If just a little effort was put into this house it could be amazing.

Cute House w/ great potential

Very charming house, but needs a deep cleaning and some additions to complete the 3rd floor. This house was mostly updated and comfortable, but needs a good cleaning- kitchen trash cans were filthy on outside, lots of rooms had cobwebs on walls, etc. The first floor has lovely hardwood and tile floors, mostly carpet on 2nd and 3rd floors that should be replaced. The 3rd floor consists of 1 bedroom and a bathroom. There are no window treatments or blinds in 3rd floor bedroom in the front of house, nor in the bathroom... So it lacks privacy and woke up early due to sunlight streaming in. There was no door between this bedroom and bathroom. The third floor bathroom floor was sticky, needs somewhere to hang towels, mirror sitting on the floor should be hung. Some towels need replaced. Great, remodeled kitchen with new appliances and cooktop island. Someone should go through kitchen drawers... to toss and replace items, such as moldy cutting board, etc. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. Bathrooms have been updated, rooms are spacious. The house is located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with other large, historic homes. The local owner and manager were very nice. Overall, I would stay again, but they need to address the issues identified. Also, there were a few windows that need glass replaced (cellophane on cracked windows).

Spent a long weekend with a total of 10 high school friends celebrating turning 60. great location to walk to restaurants and bars. Easy access to Churchill Downs, downtown as well as golf courses. Plenty of space for all of us. beds were comfortable and we brought a couple of blow up mattresses which worked out well. Plenty of bathroom space. Would definitely stay there again. it was an easy check-in and check-out. Didn't need the owner/ manager for anything. All went well.

We enjoyed our stay....the home is in an excellent location with access to downtown and other cool restaurants/bars/attractions in the area. It was a nice residential area with Cheerokee Park nearby which was great for walks and runs. Nearby coffee shops and restaurants that we could walk to. The house was nicely done with renovations in the bathrooms to bring an older home up to date.

Beautiful home, perfect location!

When you walk into this home, you are greeted by a modern yet eclectic design. The rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are stunning! I brought a group of girls to Louisville for a bachelorette party and this house was perfect for our needs. Uber rides to Fourth Street were less than $15 (and when you split it with 4 people, that's super cheap!). Uber rides to the other places we went were between $8 and $10. If you're staying in the heat of the summer like we did (95 degree days), the second and third floor do get pretty warm during the day but they cool down at night, so it wasn't a big deal for us!

The Ideal Home Away

Spacious and well appointed for our group of 6 adults. The living area and kitchen have space where you need it. The bedrooms are comfortable and the three showers never ran out of hot water. You can jog right from the house down into Cherokee Park. And I 64 also right there for ready acces to all points east, west, north and south. We really couldn't have been more pleased with this wonderful home. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Home, Suitable for a Friends' Getaway or Family Trip

My girlfriends and I chose Louisville as the destination for a bachelorette weekend. The location of the house was ideal. We were a short drive from Churchill Downs and within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, and nightlife. We felt safe and welcomed in the neighborhood the entire time. The house itself is beautiful with numerous gathering places for socializing. It would also be a good fit for families (fenced backyard with play equipment) and an adorable children's bedroom. The owners were exceptionally helpful and timely with all correspondence. I would definitely stay here again if I do another trip to Louisville.

College Reunion Louisville Trip

Our group went to Louisville to get together for the first time in a couple of years. Old college buddies... the goal of the trip was golf, bourbon, and restaurants and bars within walking distance. This house couldn't have been more pefect. Besides being affordable, it was exactly as described. The owners were incredibly fast in responding to any questions. Hopefully we will get to stay there again someday!
