About this property
Cottage Near Boscastle With Magnificent Views
Mill End cottage has been converted from original 16th century farm buildings positioned around a central courtyard. Retaining many original features but totally refurbished throughout. The cottage has magnificent views over the Vallency valley and out to sea which can be enjoyed from your very own decking. There is a lounge with door leading out onto the decking, recently re-fiited kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms and shower room. Courtyard Farm cottages offer perfect holiday accommodation. Converted from farm buildings around a central courtyard in 10 acres of land in this area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many lovely walks on your doorstep with beaches and fishing harbours just a short car journey away. Courtyard Farm is situated at the head of the Valency Valley within easy reach of one the most beautiful and dramatic coastlines in England. The cottages were once a 17th century mill, now lovingly converted into quality holiday accommodation. The North Cornwall Atlantic Coast includes over 60 miles of spectacular cliffs, beaches and coves. We are ideally located for anyone wishing to explore this beautiful coastline, or venture inland and discover the many towns and villages that are steeped in history and legend. Only a short distance away are many stunning beaches including Trebarwith and, Daymer Bay, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven and Polzeath. Bossiney Beach and Strangles are approached, like many Cornish coves, by dramatic cliff walks. Port Isaac is a quiet picturesque fishing village, in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the popular harbour at Padstow. Also nearby is Tintagel with its old Post Office and legendary King Arthur's Castle overlooking the sea, just waiting to be explored. Take a stroll around the shops in Wadebridge and hire a bicycle to ride along the Camel Trail. Venture onto the rugged landscape of Bodmin Moor, steeped in history and ghost stories. Further along the coast is Bude, with excellent leisure facilities, beaches, shops and an 18-hole golf course.

Lovely location - A few miles from Boscastle with a view of the Atlantic from your patio. Very rural, peaceful and beautiful. Lovely hosts. Thoroughly recommended.
This is a beautiful, remote location. The booking process was very easy. I had very few questions but Sean answered them extremely promptly. Very few criticisms. Being hyper picky. I would have liked a dish washer. The wine cooler either didn’t work or was in-fathomable. Other than this it’s a wonderful location, very well tended. The local roads are really only for confident and competent drivers. We loved it and will book again.

Well described, peaceful, remote and tranquil break
Expect a welcoming and laidback environment, with comfortable surroundings. A quiet base to return to after exploring local sites and beaches! A view you would never tire of, and a pace that’s at least 3 notches slower than regular life!
Tolerance is required for the local roads, which are often single track, and require negotiation to pass other vehicles. TV reception is a bit of a challenge, as can be the wi-fi. Forget phone signal.... which actually is part of the charm and enjoyment of the place. The games room is a little tired, but has a full size snooker table, pool table, and table tennis. The main sports even though was the impromptu game of lads and dads cricket one fine evening - turn your clock back 30 years!
Thoroughly enjoyed, and would definitely return!

Perfect spot for visiting Cornwall - Clean & well equipped
Lovely, friendly and laid back place to stay. Cottage was clean, tidy and well equipped but most importantly, easy to keep clean with the laminate/tiled floor meaning we didn't have to worry about being out for a day of fun with the dog.
Lovely views & play facilities for children.
Altogether a great place to base ourselves whilst visiting Cornwall and we would definitely like to come back
All you could wish for if you like peace and quiet . the cottage was well furnished and very clean would recommend to anyone looking for a safe friendly environment to take younger children as a base to explore the north Cornish coast. lovely owners who were on hand if you needed anything but left you to enjoy your holiday otherwise.

A little piece of paradise in the country.
I was a little concerned by previous comments about the lane, nothing at all to worry about, a couple of rough spots nothing of concern.. A warm welcome from the owner who lives next to the cottages, there if needed and does not invade your space.
The cottage is modern, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable... the log burner was nice added extra..
We took our 2 year old Cocker Spaniel who loved the fields to the rear of the cottages, The grounds around cottages are kept in tip top condition, this place is a credit to the owners.. I have only one criticism Cobblers Cottage was the only cottage without outdoor seating adjacent to the property a bistro set would be nice.. Will defiantly stay here again............

Peaceful seclusion with gorgeous views
Now we might consider ourselves lucky that we got the weather and a particularly quiet holiday week (9th-16th April) but this little gem of a cottage was the cherry on top. The owners have worked very hard to deliver a really up-to-date collection of holiday cottages that would cover all tastes from young families to romantic oldies (us!). We both agreed that we would love to return to this unspoilt corner of Cornwall and try one of the cottages with a veranda at the back. The views over the fields and the sunsets were fabulous.
Our friendly hosts were around if we needed them but everything worked out just as we'd hoped. There was plenty of space for youngsters to run around and explore, and we kinda missed out on seeing that..but the peace and quiet..(?) well, it was great either way. We used the cottage as a base for visiting all our favourite places on our motorcycle. Roads are great. Loads to see and do..places to eat, or good food shops to buy stuff in. We had a ball, thank you! Bryan & Karen

Wonderful Cobblers Cottage.
What a suburb cottage and location to stay in.Tte cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Sean the owner couldn't have been more kind and helpful. The whole of the accomodation area was very neat and tidy.Ideal place to stay for older people or families. Sean caters for everyone.Would definately recommend Courtyard Cottages and hopefully enjoy another stay in the not too distant future.

Excellent
We had a lovely time in cobblers cottage, it was clean and spacious with a lot of thought going in to what a guest would require. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for us to use and the bathrooms and bedrooms were finished to a very high standard. We will defiantly be returning in the near future
