Villa in Las Coloradas, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote - Close To Beach And Shops

Villa Caminantes,is Vv registered and NRA registered. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room with air conditioning and a separate dining room; as well as a private garden and pool and its own allocated parking space. The property is situated in the Las Coloradas area of Playa Blanca which is next to the unspoilt Papagayo beaches. There is a shopping area less than 5 minutes walk away with a supermarket, a great Tapas restaurants, cafe/snack bars, a children's playground, bike hire & other shops. The upmarket Marina Rubicon is a 25 minute stroll away along the seaside promenade, where you will find many more shops, bars and restaurants including Casa Carlos which is great for steaks. Just past the Marina Rubicon is the popular Dorada Beach offering lots of water-sports. Playa Blanca town is approx 1.5 miles from the villa and has many shops and restaurants. A taxi ride there costs about 5 euros or there is a regular bus service.

Villa was fantastic with great facilities both inside and outside. Location great, quiet but with lots of options within walking distance or short car drive away for restaurants, cafes or shops. Lots of beach options if preferred, but we loved the pool and outside space 😀 Would highly recommend

Lovely villa with a great pool

Villa was spotless and had everything you needed for a great holiday. Property owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The heated pool was lovely and warm. The very friendly Jodie picked me up from the airport and showed me around the villa. Quiet area with a lot of great walks to go on.

Nothing better to relax.

Villa is just as described and has everything you will need, and in such a quiet tranquil area there really isnt a better option for a quiet relaxing break. Villa is kept exceptionally clean and in great condition, Iain and his team cannot help you enough. Highly reccomend.

Quiet area

The villa was spotless, bed comfy. Kitchen has everything you need,esp big fridge with decent freezer. Pool great size, 4 sunbeds . Would recommend get Brett or Jodie to pick up drop off at airport, save stressing. Will be back. Thanks Iain.

Another fantastic stay at this lovely villa

This was our second visit to this villa and we have already booked again for a third stay. We have been staying in villas all over the world for many years and this has been one of the few that has had us coming back for more. Quiet location with a great view from the terrace by the pool. Very private especially when you are in the pool. The pool area gets the sun all day and a stunning view of the sunset. The villa inside is very clean, comfortable with a kitchen that you can use fully to cook meals. 2 minutes walk from some good restaurants and bars and a shop which this time was closed due to covid but another two good supermarkets are 20 minutes walk or a short drive away. Looking forwards to our next stay.

Lovely Villa

We had a wonderful second stay at this perfect spacious Villa. It really has everything you could possibly need. The communication with the owner was excellent who was very understanding through the Covid problems when we had to change our booking twice. The Villa was clean, has good size rooms with a nice bathroom. There is a lovely pool with nice surrounding decking. There is an added bonus of a TV with all English stations plus Sky and BT sports, Netflix films and Netflix series channels plus many more. We love the location which is right at the start of the costal path, which goes for miles. There are beaches, restaurants and a supermarket nearby with many more in Rubicon or Play Blanca town. We would highly recommend this Villa and the surrounding area.

A wonderful holiday

We loved visiting Lanzarote - our holiday away was very much enjoyed by the whole family. The villa itself is situated in the quieter area of playa blanca and it was a perfect retreat to relax. We had a lovely time staying here, the facilities in the villa it’s self were more then expected . The kitchen is well equipped, the outside area clean and spacious, bedrooms comfortable and plenty of storage, bathroom clean and tidy. The heated pool made it really easy for us to enjoy staying put, but the local surroundings of the beach, marina with restaurants and children’s play area 5 mins away meant we had no trouble enjoying ourselves exploring locally. Amenities are extremely close which is a huge bonus, just a 5 minute walk to a local supermarket and a few trinket shops - which made self catering a lot easier. The local beach Papagayo (a steep mountainous walk , max 15 mins) is absolutely stunning, a large cove which has gorgeous white sand and clear blue sea. Our two daughters aged 9 and 1years had the best holiday making some beautiful memories together. Thank you for having us and sharing your wonderful villa.

Fantastic holiday villa

Just returned from a great week at Villa Caminantes (Aug 2021). The villa is in a community of similar villas and is accessed by a path form the main road about 50-100m. The villa is in great condition inside and out, the main feature being the Sun Terrace and pool. The terrace faces east with a lovely view over Playa Blanca and each evening we were treated to a fantastic sunset which went down at around 8:20pm at this time of year. The sun starts to the front of the villa in the morning and its nice to sit out on the terrace for breakfast in the cool of the morning. As the sun comes up through the day there is an awning that you extend which gives you cover from the sun and if you get too hot you can cool off in the lovely swimming pool which is accessed from steps. There is a Webber BBQ for your use which we used several times. The bedrooms are nice with plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. The kitchen is clean and modern and nice to use. The lounge is spacious with nice sofas and furniture. There is a dining room which is like a conservatory with a roof, we didn't use this as it was too hot at this time of year and we eat at the table on the terrace. I imagine it is great to use at cooler times of the year. There is a small Hyperdino supermarket which is about 2 minutes away, in a complex with some other shops, bars and cafes. We can recommend the cafe outside the entrance to the Supermarket called Simple and Natural, the food is fantastic and the english breakfast is very nice for 5.50 Euros. There is another Larger supermarket about 10-15 minutes walk whcih is the Superdino. I would recommend having a hire car, although we didn't as prices have gone very high at the moment, due to Covid a lot of the cars were sold off at the start and are still in short supply. Communication was very good with the owner Iain and the management team. A fantastic week was had and would be keen to return in the future sometime.

A short but sweet review Our second time staying at Villa Caminantes and it was just as good as the first! We loved every moment. We love Lanzarote and the villa is in a lovely area, close to all amenities. Taxi rides are cheap and it’s easy to get to other places if and when needed! Walkable distance to beach, 15 mins max. Walkable distance to marina, 15 mins max. And a 5 min taxi ride into the center of town, approx 5. The pool was immaculate and the villa itself very clean and had all the bits we needed to enjoy 10 days away. We made use of the washing machine whilst away, so no dreaded post holiday wash loads! Iain extended our check out time on our last day, which made the stress of packing up and leaving so much better- a huge thank you for that. Thank you for having us again! We hope to revisit.

An absolutely lovely villa with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. The owner Iain is just brilliant, nothing too much trouble. He even anticipated we would want a late check out, so had asked the cleaners to wait until the next morning after I made the request! The villa is perfect for families or couples, clean, welcoming and comfortable! We would definitely come back here again! Lovely villa, lovely Island!!

2 weeks of bliss!

The villa is a good size and has everything you need. We just used all the plastic cups and plates as we was outside all time. It was very clean and well kept. The cleaner came just after our first week and changed the linen and towels. The pool was cleaned twice whilst we were there. This was the 4th time coming to this area and this villa was the best by far so much closer to the bars and restaurants. We caught the bus to the marina and into Playa Blanca town for €1.40 each and a taxi to return for €5.60 had to queue sometimes. The owner was lovely and very accommodating for us and answered any questions quickly and has been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be back.

Excellent!

Villa was super clean, well equipped and spacious. Area is great! Walking distance to supermarket, local restaurants and bars. Marina is lovely to stroll down and browse the boutiques, many restaurants to choose from and all looking over the Yachts moored up. Best market I’ve been to and no one pesters you. Iain is great at getting back with any queries and let us have a late check out. We had a lovely holiday. Would recommend.

June getaway

Lovely villa, just right for us both. Everything we needed was available. From the initial transfer to our departure, very straightforward. The area was quiet but the bustling marina was nearby and a lovely walk after a meal in the many restaurants. We would definitelt use again and feel well rested.
