Recently upgraded with all new furnishings, this home has three bedrooms and an enclosed porch that doubles as fourth bedroom and a separate bunkhouse apartment that sleeps 4 is included. 4 and a half high quality bathrooms including a steam shower you'll need after your float down the river. A gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream. Everything you'll need is there to cook or bake to impress your family. All the beds come with new high-quality mattresses fitted with premium linens. Enjoy wildlife or bird watching while relaxing on the front or back porch or fly fishing in the popular Swan River. Be away from it all yet stay connected at the same time with our super fast Spectrum internet. Cell service in the area is also excellent. Cleaning standards and protocols meet the standards according to VRBO’s recommendations. At the Swan Riverhouse we strive to surpass any 5-star hotel in quality, cleanliness and service. The additional Bunkhouse is located next to the main house that sleeps 4 guests with a full bath, kitchenette, and internet TV. There are stairs to the Bunkhouse apartment so it may not be suitable for everyone.

This home is specially designed for family or friends summer retreats, reunions or remote working. Easy access to hiking in Glacier Park or other local locations. Our family had a wonderful stay and didn't want to leave. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us, spacious kitchen and cozy places to gather and play games. Waking up and enjoying coffee by the river was amazing. The kids learned to fly fish and we couldn't get them out of the river, they loved it.

A perfect setting for our family gathering ages 4 to 77. Something for everyone and plenty of room inside and outside. The river setting was perfect for fishing, floating, and wading. Easy access to Flathead Lake and the town of Bigfork. Access to Glacier NP is also easy. The master bedroom setting was amazing and it has the ultimate kitchen. The house was very clean and well stocked. The only thing we lacked was extra sheets for the sofa bed, but we managed. The family loved the tame deers that frequently visited. Stephen is very responsive and accommodating in his communications. His artwork is displayed in the entry way, which we enjoyed as well. We highly recommend and would stay again. Marlene & Russ

Spectacular Home in a beautiful location

Our stay was way too short. The home is lovely, beautifully furnished and equipped with all your possible needs. Beds are very comfortable, great soaking tubs and a kitchen that can host a great meal. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and kept the grounds picture-perfect.

Amazing house

Amazing house in great neighborhood, easy drive to glacier, flathead and kalispell. Owner was very good communicating, had a small issue come up while staying there and he wqs very fast in helping us resolve it. Would dtay again

The property and home are absolutely fantastic, well kept and very friendly booking process as well as excellent communications. We simply love the area and being out away from the middle of town as well as having access to the River right behind the house. Will be booking again next year for sure!

This was our 2nd time to visit Montana and we decided to visit Big Fork area. This house was exceptional. When it states the house has everything you need, that would be 110% correct. Beautiful house on the river

We had a wonderful experience staying at this house. It is a great location to see lots of areas around Flathead Lake and go to Glacier Park. Stephen was able to assist us when our rental car would not start and we were able to get a way for us to get to our event. We know that wouldn’t have happened if we stayed somewhere else. The house is great and we had plenty of room to spread out.

Weir Family Vacation

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I definitely would, there is no way to explain how amazing this place is, it seems like all you need is your clothes, everything you need is at your fingertips. Our family has owned the Swan Riverhouse since 1979. We have enjoyed all the seasons in this beautiful place. It is truly magical. Montana has inspired me to become an artist after first visiting in 1979. The house has my paintings throughout. As a job, I worked in Animation for all the major studios. Our family and friends have all held this place very dear to their hearts as I have. I hope you enjoy it also and it inspires you too!

Why they chose this property

The Swan Riverhouse is a private spot on the river. There are no visible neighbors on either side yet it is close enough to town for everything you need. A flat paved road to the property makes it easy to access in all seasons. The property has a park-like setting where you and your guests can feel free to be yourselves and enjoy a peaceful escape from the big city. It has a serene feel that makes you feel at peace being there. There is a gentle slope to the river and the river is shallow enough for kids to wade in while they try fishing or floating. Deer come to the property looking for snacks. If you have cabbage or apples, they will eat out of your hand.

What makes this property unique

The Swan River is great for fly fishing out our back door with a nice fishing hole about 3/4 of a wade out. You have to be an excellent fly fisherman to catch the big ones. A great river to float down with your friends and family. Just remember to lift your butt when going over the rocks! If you want to go to the lake to swim or picnic, you can visit Swan Lake park down the road where you can load your boat and hang out on the pebble beach. At night go into town for the Bigfork Summer Playhouse or a nice dinner. Take a drive to Glacier National Park for the day or do a day hike at nearby Jewel Basin. In winter ski Whitefish Mountain Resort or Blacktail Mountain Ski Resort. There is so much to do and enjoy here. Just ask me, I'll be glad to direct your adventures.
