About this property
Casa da Ginja - Apartment in Lisbon's historic center
1 bedroom apartment fully refurbished in historic Lisbon. Next to some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the city, it comfortably sleeps two people, with free Wi-Fi, full kitchen, flat screen TV with cable, and can accommodate a maximum of three people, thanks to the sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is ideal for those who want to walk the streets of old Lisbon so that at the end of the day you can return to the warmth of home.
The apartment is on the first floor with no elevator and has private entrance. It is located in a quiet street, but it is possible to stop right outside the door to leave, for example, luggage and heavy purchases. There is also a DVD player and an HDMI cable for guests wishing to connect the computer to the TV. In the kitchen, a small counter is an alternative to the dining room table, for those who want a quick meal. The entire apartment is bathed in natural light and is therefore very bright. In the bedroom there is a large wardrobe, with hangers, drawers and a safe. The wooden floors in the living room and bedroom provide greater comfort.
The location of the apartment is especially privileged with 360º points of interest, such as the unforgettable Castelo de São Jorge, the stunning Miradas do Portas do Sol, the imposing São Vicente de Fora Monastery, the impressive Lisbon Cathedral, the Fado Museum , The National Pantheon, the Flea Market ... The surrounding streets are full of gastronomic offerings, with several restaurants and pastry shops, as well as stationery and other services. There is a pharmacy 750 meters away.
Chiado, with all its life, art, culture, luxury and commerce, is 1 km from the apartment.
The apartment is just 1 km from the Rossio metro station, making the walk through typical streets and alleys in just 15 minutes. The Lisbon metro network is well developed, taking you to most places of interest in the city. The train that takes you directly to the village of Cascais is accessible by a short Metro ride to Cais do Sodré station. To travel to Sintra, just take the train at the emblematic Rossio train station. The airport is only 6 km away. Also the famous 'Tram 28', preserved intact with its wooden structure, stops right around the corner, and is truly advisable to visit some of the major landmarks of the city.
