The 125-square-metre (+ a 75-square-metre terrace) 3-bedroom Apartment Sole (next to Apartment Querce) is sunny, spacious, fully furnished and well equipped
to a high standard. It can accomodate up to 9 guests. There is Fiber 1000 WiFi for smart workers, air-con and hydrotherapy bath. A large terrace, where you can enjoy your meals and evening drinks, surrounds the apartment .
A garage can be offered on demand, if available, but there are however free parking places in the 3000 square metre common area with flowerbeds and a fountain.
There are no architectural barriers because there is a lift both from the garage and from the ground floor to the apartment.
All shops are only a few minutes walk and at a walking distance is also the historic centre of Lanciano, ancient town of art, music, traditions and fairs.
Apartment Sole is 10 min drive from the sea ( Costa dei Trabocchi and The Via Verde ). The Via Verde, a 42 km long cycle and pedestrian path on the Costa dei Trabocchi, runs along one of the most evocative stretches of the Adriatic a few meters from the sea immersed in the nature of the Costa dei Trabocchi.
Ski resorts & the mountains (Majella National Park) are 30 min drive.
There are many more other places of interest around including picturesque hilltop villages, Lago di Bomba and little touristic coastal villages and towns ...
Lots of sports can be practised in the area (cycling, canoeing, rafting, trekking, horse riding, birdwatching, snorkeling, tennis, golf....).
In order to make your stay go smoothly and enjoyable the owner and her husband will be pleased to advise you about the best places to visit .
Lanciano is 35 min drive from Abruzzo International Airport in Pescara and 2 and a half hour from Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports in Rome.
As the owner is a qualified teacher of Italian and English as foreign languages (L2) and her husband is an architect and an excellent cook, Italian and English lessons, art lessons and cookery lessons can be arranged in the period October-May.

Wonderful Apartment

Our stay in Apartment Sole was a wonderful experience. The apartment was large, modern, and comfortable. The wraparound balcony is beautiful and a nice place for breakfast or just relaxing. The air conditioning did a good job keeping all of rooms cool & comfortable in early July. Francesca & Diego were very welcoming and provided everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. The location is close enough to the town center, but very quiet at night. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Lanciano!

Das wahre Italien - ein grandioser Aufenthalt

Das war ein unserer schönsten Urlaube, die wir verleben durften. Das Appartment war sehr großzügig und vor allem liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht wenn man Wert auf Selbstversorgung legt. Wir haben uns richtig zu Hause gefühlt. Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse von Lanciano, sehr nah am Einkaufszentrum und zur historischen Altstadt. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten zum Strand, alle ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir haben uns für Fossacesia entschieden. Wenig Tourismus, fast nur Einheimische. Sehr ruhig und typisch italienisch. Mehrere excellente Restaturants in der näheren Umgebung mit einem phantastischen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Besondern lobend wollen wir auch unsere Vermieter Francesca und Diego erwähnen. Sie sind sehr fürsoglich und tun alles um den Aufenthalt so gelungen wie möglich zu machen. Wir haben beschlossen, dass wir nächtes Jahr wieder kommen werden.

Modern, clean, spacious and impeccably designed apartment in a modern building. Beautiful 10 min stroll to the centre of the city. Ample parking; restaurants and shopping within walking distance.Centrally located to all roads to beach, mountains or autostrada. Gorgeous wrap around balcony with beautiful birds chirping in the green space. Bright and airy. Wifi available throughout apartment and balcony.All has been thought out , lacking nothing. The apartment was very warm and heated thru out. Day trip to Rome was 2.5hr; Bari 3hr...Kitchen and bathrooms were conveniently stocked with basics. Hosts/owners Francesca and Diego were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended as a 5star alternative to a hotel.

Relax and comfort in Lanciano

Francesca e suo marito sono stati degli anfitrioni impeccabili. Sin da subito ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno e sono stati cortesi e disponibili. L'appartamento Sole, dove abbiamo alloggiato, è esattamente come si vede nelle foto: pulito, spazioso e accogliente; situato in una zona comoda per il parcheggio e poco distante dal centro, dai supermercati e dalle vie principali che portano al mare. Ripeterei senz'altro l'esperienza in questo alloggio e la consiglierò a chiunque volesse visitare Lanciano e dintorni.

A fantastic place for a visit to the "Real" Italy.

The apartment was a perfect base for our holiday. We were three generations visiting Italy together and Lanciano proved a wonderful, unspoilt location with few foreign tourists. It is close to the sea (10 min drive to the Costa Dei Trabocchi) and mountains (for caves, tree-top adventues and more), and only a short journey from Rome (couple of hours by car; easy day-trip). The apartment itself is well equipped, a good size and within walking distance from the centre of Lanciano where there are a range of lovely bars and restaurants. I really can't think of a better place to discover Italy than this corner of Abruzzo!

Apartamento Sole - A breath of fresh air!

This apartment was everything that I imagined and more from the way that it was advertised. A really beautiful, spacious, airy and colourfully furnished. . When we first walked in we were left speechless at how well it was set up, spotlessly clean and tidy. I felt that I was in my own home. The apartment is in a very quiet lane to our liking. What we really liked is the balcony that wraps right around the apartment and is great for entertaining and just relaxing under the sunshine, and gives you a sense of freedom and of the outside. We are not really used to living in an apartment where we are confined to restricted living, or going up and down with the lift, as in Australia we live in our own separate house and landscaped gardens. I must say that the two air-conditioners were really a god-send on those very hot and humid nights that we had, and kept us very comfortable for sleeping and we felt refreshed in the morning. The owners Francesca and Diego were two most delightful people. Our friendship clicked from the very start, and were always eager to help us in any which way they could. We will never forget their hospitality. Should we ever need to travel again in this part of Italy we will definitely book this fantastic apartment and will honestly recommend this type of accommodation to any would be traveller. Lovely Apartment for a relaxing stay

Apartment Sole is in a quiet residential part of Lanciano. It is a light and airy apartment which is very comfortable and well equipped for a relaxing stay. The town centre is approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk. We found the owners Francesca and Diego to be most helpful and would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Beautifull, well furnished apartment in Abruzzo

We stayed for 9 days in the beautiful, well furnished apartment of Francesca and Diego. The house was fully equipped and tastefully decorated. A very affordable price for the luxury the apartment comes with. The house looks even more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures show. We recommend the apartment to anyone who loves the pure non toeristic Italy. The owners of the apartment are very kind and helpfull. In the apartement you found lots of information about the wonderfull Abruzzo ans Lanciano. We loved the beautiful beaches and weather and the kids loves the Pizzaria across the street. Perfect Apartment

The apartment is furnished perfectly. Everything that you might need has been provided, including lots of this you didn't realise that you need until you start to look for them. The apartment is quiet, amazingly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Francesco and her husband are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed exploring the old town and many of the other towns and villages in the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you want to visit the area.

Beautiful appartment

This apartment is beautiful with all the facilities of home. The owners have furnished it with love and consideration and I would readily recommend it to anyone wanting a close to town property to rent. The terrace on three sides gives it flexibility and allows you to ‘rotat’ as the sun moves around. Loved it.

Holiday at Appartamento Sole

Francesa and her husband were very welcoming and informative. The apartment was delightful and exceptionally well equipped and the air conditioning was a god send. The children also loved their rooms. The only thing lacking is any views but the town centre is within easy walking distance and the local beaches and mountains are easily accessible. The flexible start date meant that we could take advantage of lower priced flights from Stanstead to Pescara. The lock-up garage provided meant that the hire car was secure and cool in the mornings.

Lovely Apartment in Lanciano

Muchissimas gracias por todo! El apartamento esta muy lindo, con mucho estilo, limpio, muy bien amoblado, con muy buen gusto. Disfrutamos mucho la estadia en Lanciano. La combinacionn de montana y mar es fantastica! Our guests from Holland and United States also loved the place and liked very much the atmosphere in the neighbourhood. Comfortable apartment - just what you need!

Very nice bright apartment arranged in IKEA style which gives you functionality. Well equipped and perfectly situated. 20 minutes far from the sea and less than an hour to beautiful small Italian towns on top of hills. If you are a night life lover you can find it in Lanciano at walking distance. Francesca and her husband are very kind and ready to help. Always trust Francesca's advices! The restaurants she recommended were great. Food there was delicious and indeed, if she says go for starters, or only for pizza, do it, for she knows! Great Time

We really enjoyed our stay at Francesca's apartment in Lanciano. She was very welcoming and informative. The apartment is spacious and full of light. The rooms are well-furnished and extremely organized. Lanciano is a quaint town close to the beach, 15 minutes by car, and aproximately 30 minutes to the mountains by car. We recommend this place. If you want peace and quiet together with good hospitality, contact Francesca.

The apartment is fully furnished, very comfortable and quiet. There is a garage which can be rented on demand, if available, and there are also free parking places in the communal garden area, with fountain and flower beds , where children can safely play.
Only a few minutes stroll from all shops and the medieval city centre, it is ideally located because it is 10 mns drive from the coast and 30 mns drive from Majella National Park
