About this property

The Stones Luxury Apartment With Uninterrupted Sea Views and private Car parking

This 4 storey, former sea Captain's house dating back to the early 1900's, offers unique panoramic views of St. Ives. Staring out of the many windows, you'll see quaint, tiled roofs tumbling down to the bustling harbour’s edge, the sea, the horizon and beyond. Stretching out into the distance, framed by the arms of the bay, ever-changing under the famous ethereal sunlight of St Ives, you'll be able to wallow in what are perhaps the most beautiful views in town. Situated on a corner plot, the apartments benefit from a unique aspect. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise over St. Ives Bay, and then, when the evening draws to a close, you can even watch the sunset behind the picturesque town itself. If you can bring yourself to leave your apartment, a short stroll will take you into the heart of St Ives. As you meander through the cobbled streets, you'll find scores of independent and unique shops, galleries and artist’s workshops. Walk a little further and you'll soon find yourself on the edge of the beach, pasty in hand, mesmerized by the magic of nature and art meeting together before you. But with Pednolver apartments, no matter how good a day you’ve had, you’ll always look forward to coming home. Our Apartments: Perched above St. Ives, and yet only a stones throw away from both the beaches and town centre, Pednolver comprises of three spacious apartments, each filled with character, beauty and quirky period features which blend together to create a unique sense of homely comfort and opulent serenity. Tastefully and sensitively renovated, our luxurious apartments are finished with oak units and polished granite effect worktops in the kitchens, porcelain tiles in the bathroom, heavy oak window shutters and solid wood furniture. Throughout each is an array of original artwork and huge windows, complimenting and maximising the amazing views. Exposed brickwork and feature granite walls lend charm and elegance to the overall ambience. Apartment 2 - The Stones. 2 bedrooms. Sleeps 4-6. Apartment 3 - Huers Watch. 1 bedroom. Sleeps 2-4. Apartment 4 - The Penthouse. 1 bedroom. Sleeps 2-4. Apartments can be combined to sleep up to 14 guests.

Named after the reef in St. Ives Bay, this recently renovated magnificent ground floor apartment offers outstanding views over the town, the harbour, St Ives Bay and the dramatic rocky coast of Cornwall. The Stones apartment has large spacious rooms, traditional granite walls, high ceilings and period features. The lounge/diner has a gas style wood stove, double sofa bed & original triple doors that open to the main double bedroom. The dining table in the bay window provides spectacular uninterrupted views. Bedroom 1 has superb views over the town, across the bay and up the coast, and if you open the adjoining doors, you can even lie in the kingsize bed and watch the sunrise over the bay. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and a good-sized wet room with shower, toilet and basin - ideal for rinsing off the sea salt and sand after a day on the beach. Outside, a small shared courtyard has harbour views. A well equipped kitchen has slate floor and views over the town and harbour.

Lovely Harbour Views
The host was very receptive with great communications. The basket of goodies (cookies, fudge, biscuits, tea, coffee, etc) & basics like milk in the fridge to start off with were a very nice touch. I would recommend a portable fan for warmer days & sleeping for someone like myself who is rather hot natured. I still fared pretty well with my trusty little hand held size rechargeable fan plugged in to electricity by the bed. Also, reflective strips or something of the like are recommended where the wood & tile floors meet & the tile from the kitchen steps down into the back entryway to prevent a trip & fall. My being somewhat of a klutz & an accident waiting to happen, I placed items in the doorways of those areas as a little reminder each time we passed through them that there was a somewhat elevated wooden strip to step over or a step down. That worked to prevent my doing something stupid & hurting myself. A non-slip mat for the shower is also recommended as it can be pretty slick stepping in. The heated towel rack did the job for drying clean laundry. We loved the stone walls & exceptional views over the harbour, especially from the bay window. Overall, we really enjoyed a lovely stay!

Mark was super great accommodating us spontaneously!
We slept so well next these awesome stone walls. We had just what we needed while we were there plus this epic view of the playing we had done all day in the harbour. Loved staying here!

Loved it
We booked this apartment for our first trip away with our small baby, and it was perfect. Mark was excellent at replying to any questions and the set up of the apartment, location and views were all brilliant. The main rooms were very spacious and the whole place was lovely and warm (we were there in October). We’d very happily recommend to friends and stay again!
