The surroundings of your villa

From you holiday villa it is only 8 kilometres to the beach. You can, for instance, enjoy the beach Cala Canyelles that is carved out of the rocks around it, which almost feels like a private beach. A fine beach, wonderful water and a snug restaurant make this beach an excellent base. Another recommendation is the snug Tossa da Mar. Again there is a magnificent beach, but it is surrounded by lovely remains from Roman times. Just a few steps into the centre and you will find nice little restaurants and nice shops that make the search for a nice souvenir very easy.

A few kilometres in the other direction and you will find Lloret de Mar. This place is 80 kilometres away from Barcelona and is known throughout Europe as a cosmopolitan seaside resort with an exciting night life. But you can also find memories from the past here, that combine perfectly with the wonderful beaches. Lloret was founded from pre roman times, that can still be viewed to this day. Main showpieces are the architectural treasures like the church of San Roma, the castle of Sant Joan and several hermit chapels. The nightlife here is of course famous. You can find a good time in every single street of Lloret. But there are also golf courses, riding schools, a go-cart track and a spectacular swim paradise, which are definitely worth recommending. You really won’t have to be bored a single day along the Costa Brava.
