In the Aude, Cathar country, old stone barn (55m2) with a terrace, renovated in charming loft type cottage, very comfortable and functional, for 2 people, with a magnificent view of the Cathar castle Peyrepertuse, in a small authentic village and preserved Corbières, with a grocery store.
Comfortable bedding in 160. Mix of stones, wood and contemporary style. Terrace. Air conditioning, heating and design wood stove.
The river passes at the foot of the village and allows to swim in a beautiful natural setting, facing the Cathar Castle Peyrepertuse.
Very nice hikes to around.
Very well placed to visit the Cathar country.
50 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. Mountain biking, canyoning, via ferrata

DESCRIPTION
The ground floor (35 m2) is composed of a large living room, loft type with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room (sofa bed 130cm), with a wood stove, as well as a travertine marble bathroom with a bathtub and heated towel rail.
Upstairs, a large air-conditioned room (20 m2) with a bed of 160cm and good quality bedding, with a bay window overlooking a stone terrace, facing south (16 m2). The terrace has a beautiful view of the castle Peyrepertuse and has two chairs and a table with two chairs.

Kitchen equipment: Dishwasher, Microwave oven, washing machine, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, small oven, Nespresso coffee machine, coffee maker and kettle

Une bonne base pour visiter les Corbiéres

Joli appartement climatisé. On peut se garer à proximité quand la place est libre, sinon parking municipal pas trop éloigné mais quand même déconseillé pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Les paysages sont splendides, mais même si les distances sont courtes les routes sont très étroites, vigilance de tous les instants recommandée.

Très beau gîte

Gîte au calme avec tout le confort nécessaire, et une vue superbe ! Très bien équipé, rien ne manque, la clim est un réel plus dans cette région en été ! A noter, prévoir de faire ses courses alimentaires avant d'arriver, c'est assez délicat dans ce coin.

Bel endroit pour les visites de la région des châteaux cathares. Très petit village mais une petite épicerie permet de se dépanner de l'essentiel et, malgré l'absence de wifi, la 4G est de bonne qualité.

Parfait pour visiter les environs. Super vue sur le château de Peyrepertuse. Petite maison de village très bien aménagée. Le seul petit bémole est le clocher qui sonne la nuit toute les heures au moins à partir de 3h.

une région méconnue et pourtant si interessante

L'appartement est situé près de nombreux sites extraordinaires : châteaux cathares de Peyrepertuse et de Quéribus sauvages et mystérieux, gorges de Galamus avec leur ermitage très impressionnantes , site préhistorique de Tautavel source d'informations sur la vie de nos ancêtres, ville fortifiée de Villefranche de Conflans, le petit village de Cucugnan avec son boulanger et sa vierge enceinte et puis la mer qui n'est pas si loin avec ses petits ports plein de charme ( Collioure, Port Vendre ...). Bref , pas le temps de s'ennuyer d'autant qu'il vaut mieux parler de temps de parcours que de distance les routes étant le plus souvent fort étroites et très sinueuses . Pour nous ce fut une semaine riche en découvertes avec retour aux sources vu que la communication avec le reste du monde est bien difficile ( pas ou très peu de réseau ce qui ajoute au charme du séjour ) Le point fort de l'appartement est sa chambre à l'étage avec terrasse et vue sur le château de Peyrepertuse. De plus il est bien équipé et fonctionnel. L'accueil de Madame Somoza a été très chaleureux et nos échanges bien sympathiques . Nous tenons à remercier Madame Somoza pour sa disponibilité et sa compréhension.

Nous avons été pleinement satisfaits de notre séjour dans cet appartement agencé avec goût. La mezzanine avec terrasse donnant sur le château de Peyreterpuse constitue un espace d'enchantement. Une hôte accommodante dans les horaires d'accueil et de départ qui nous a évité tout stress dans nos déplacements. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement.
