Located about 50 minutes to an hour north of Lisbon. This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle unless you eat in August when the beach and boardwalk restaurants fill up with life and Portuguese culture. Friendly family oriented beach with a beautiful lagoon shaped beach that lets out into the Atlantic ocean. Beautiful scenery surrounds this town everywhere you go, not to mention all the great towns of Nazare, Alcobaca, and not to mention the old village / castle in Obidos, Caldas da Rainha, Batalha and Fatima.

Great apartment, close to the beach

The unit was clean and in a good location with ample parking. It was a nice size for our family of four with easy access to the beach (about a 10 minute walk) restaurants and shops. São Martinho is a great beach for families as the cove prevents the really big waves found at Nazare and other beaches. Would definitely return!

Estadia muito boa, ótimas condições, quartos muito bem organizados, decoração bonita, cozinha super equipada, o acesso e a privacidade da piscina também é muito boa. Uma boa localização num bom preço. A comunicação com a proprietária foi muito fácil e bastante flexível e simpática!

Appartement tres propre et tres bien situé a 10 minutes a pieds de la plage, Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Les équipements de la cuisine sont tres bien. Il ne manque rien. Il y a toujours de la place dans la rue pour se stationner. la grande piscine (non chauffee) permet de se detendre et de se rafraichir apres une journee a la plage, elle etait d ailleurs souvent pour nous tout seul;) En conclusion, nous recommandons cet hebergement et remercions Helena pour sa gentillesse.

Nice holiday apartment

Good sized and well equipped apartment. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Very small balconies, the one from the lounge overlooks a main road. As we didn’t hire a car there are a couple of useful mini markets nearby, we found the public transport reliable and used it for visits to Obidos, Caldas and Nazare.

Family vacation

The house is what you see on the pictures and it is near the beach and restaurants. The swimming pool is a nice alternative for the cloudy days. Despite the not so good weather, me and my family have rested a lot and met some new friendly faces. Thanks Helena, have a great Summer!
