Aankomst zet onmiddellijk de toon voor een heel aangenaam verblijf: heel vriendelijke en warme verwelkoming met leuke verrassinkjes. Het huisje is echt prima: ideale ruimte voor twee personen, blijft goed koel. Rustig gelegen. De sinaasappelbomen zijn ook een leuke plus! Mooie omgeving: prachtige zichten op de heuvels, veel groener dan ik verwacht had. Kan een beetje winderig zijn, maar is meestal heel aangename verkoeling! Landelijke ligging, met verschillende mooie stadjes in de buurt om te bezoeken: Guimarães, Amarante,... Porto is makkelijk bereikbaar met de trein vanuit Penafiel of Paredes. Ook kuststadje Espinho is vlot bereikbaar.

Heel fijne ontvangst en gastheren. Uit mijn blog: We verbleven op een magisch plekje bij Porto. In de natuur, zonder TV en relatief weinig digitale prikkels. De wekker bestond uit een aantal schapen, elk met bel om, die ‘s morgens onder je slaapkamervenster kwamen grazen (gelukkig niet te vroeg). Overal vogelconcerten en aan de voet van de berg hoorde je de Tamega-rivier stromen. Elke dag vers sap van de appelsienen, citroenen en pompelmoezen die nog aan de bomen hingen en de winter overleefd hadden. Veel bloemen, overvloedig veel groen struikgewas en bomen met lekkere en frisse geuren. Pure rust en ademruimte, onbelemmerd. Verder was alles in orde!

De eigenaars zorgen voor een warm onthaal met oog voor détail broodjes, een fles wijn, alles netjes in orde. Rustig gelegen, mooi zwembad en zeer centraal voor een bezoek aan onder meer Porto, Braga, Amarante, Guimaraes. Zalige vakantie genoten!

Prachtig gelegen vakantiehuis, temidden een mooie tuin vol van bloemenpracht en fruitbomen. Op een uurtje rijden van Porto, Amarente, de kust, de Dourovallei... prima uitvalsbasis. En weer terug een frisse duik in het zwembad. Uiterst warme, gastvrije gastheren met veel tips en uitleg over de omgeving. Zij zijn de kers op de taart! Aanrader hoor!

Rundherum gut!
Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in einem gepflegt-wilden Garten, mit Schattenplätzen an den heißen Tagen, guten Möglichkeiten für die Erkundung der Umgebung - insbesondere Porto - bei sehr lieben, freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern! Uns hat es rundherum gefallen!

Een heel leuk en mooi verblijf, maar door de slechte weersomstandigheden, waar natuurlijk niemand wat kan aan doen, hebben we flink elektrisch moeten bij verwarmen om de woonst droog en aange- naam te houden.
