Bay View is a stunning all-year-round holiday home with a real wow factor!
Whether it’s morning coffee on the decking, afternoon tea in the huge kitchen diner with floor to ceiling sliding doors, an afternoon nap in the living room or a sundowner in the hot tub after a busy day walking the Coastal Path, the ever-changing and breath-taking views of the beach and St Bride’s Bay are always present.
The generous open-plan kitchen diner is a fab room to start the day. Watch surfers ride the waves or our local wild-swimming group - the "Blue Tits" - braving the sea all year round while you enjoy your breakfast. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook family meals - and even do a little baking if you feel in the mood. The comfy seating area in the kitchen is the perfect spot for an early morning cuppa. We really have tried to think of everything to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. There's even a slow cooker that you can fill in the morning and that will reward you with a hot tasty meal after a day walking our stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. If a favourite kitchen item is missing just let us know and we will do our very best to provide it for you before you leave.
There is however also a good range of dining options in the vicinity if you don’t want to cook. Fish and chips and a bottle of wine on the beach is a great favourite of ours - followed by an ice-cream to die for from the Ocean cafe. A local award-winning chef has set up business in Haverfordwest and we can vouch for the exceptionally high quality of his meals. The spacious lounge is fully equipped with comfortable seating that centres on the picture windows overlooking the sea. A cute children’s book corner, a wide range of board games and puzzles as well as a 49 inch smart TV provide hours of fun. As you have unlimited, super-fast fibre-optic WiFi (fair usage policy) you’ll never miss out on your favourite programmes. There’s a USB port by every bed as well as in the reception rooms to keep all your electronic devices fully charged.
The master bedroom is decorated in calming hues and has a contemporary en suite shower room set behind a wall of opaque sea-coloured glass. The beds all have quality mattresses and high thread count cotton linen. We provide all season duvets for your comfort. They comprise a 9.5 TOG and a 4.5 TOG buttoned together.
The pretty enclosed garden has raised decking to maximise on the views while you dine, comfortable garden furniture as well as a BBQ area and a luxury hot tub for 6. Garden games - boules, badminton etc are kept in the cupboard. There is also a small lockable shed for you to store surf boards etc.
There is a large car park between Bay View and the sea. This can get busy in high season but in the evenings after everyone has gone home the views belong to you alone. The garden is bordered by a hydrangea hedge that our amazing George who looks after the garden for us, works hard to keep it just at the right height that you can see the sea but less of the car park!
