The house .features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living & dinning room, fully equipped modern kitchen, big private garden, parking, free Wi-Fi.
Visitors can enjoy the “sound” of silence at the garden away from the noise of cities and delight the beautiful sea and white mountain view.
The name of the house "APITHANO" in Greek has two meanings, one of them is impossible and the other is amazing.The house has been recently renovated in order to manage to adjust to the modern way of living and in parallel to keep its unique traditional character. it was "impossible" to be made but the result is "amazing"
It is a two storey house but because of the outside landscape each floor can be "considered" to be ground floor.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms,one with three and one with two single beds which share a bathroom.
Upstairs there is one big bedroom with king size bed and its own bathroom .Also upstairs, there is the kitchen area with the living room which share the outside veranta and garden with view to the sea and white mountains

Beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful surroundings

We spent in May ten days in Apithano. The tasteful renovated house (it is almost a new house) is very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. It has been for us an ideal starting point for exploring the west and south mountains and the beaches. After one day of hiking, we appreciated so much a rest day at the house, just sitting on the terrace enjoying the mountain or the sea view or reading a book on the long chairs in the garden in the shade of the large olive tree. When needed, we could always get good advices from the owner Nikos for organizing our visits. It was a pleasure meeting him. We recommend this house wholeheartedly.

Laurent and hiw wife are the type of guest you want to have at your house. They want to know and learn more than common tourist want and they appreciate what they are given. It was a great pleasure and honour for me and my family that they atteneded to our "panegere" .they are welcome back anytime. p.s:the house was left in a perfect condition

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine. Nous étions une famille de cinq adultes. La maison est confortable à l'intérieur comme à ’extérieur. ( 3 chambres dont une parentale.) Nikos, nous a reçu avec bienveillance et a été de bon conseils pour notre séjour.

This property belongs to my family for more than a 100 years and restoring it made me happy and also is a place where you can enjoy the “sound” of silence and delight the beautiful sea and white mountain view at the swimming pool area and the garden for a totally relaxing holiday or use it as a base for a more adventures holiday since Spilia is ideally located for you to visit the most important coasts and places of interest of Western Crete

What makes this property unique

The “sound” of silence in a place just 150m from the center of a very beautifull and full of life village with all amenities just a few minutes away. And of course the possition of the village which is ideal for exploring the western Crete most beautifull places and beaches, very close to the highway which makes also all town life to be just a few minutes away.
