This impressive bungalow is set within beautiful mature gardens and designed with a contemporary edge. Inside, it is light, bright and spacious and its unique location with panoramic views across the village of Croyde to the dunes and sea beyond is captured from the large, decked, south-facing terrace where patio table and chairs, sun loungers and a gas barbecue invite you to spend leisurely days dining alfresco. This is the ultimate seaside stay for up to six guests.
Once across the threshold, the beautiful oak floors in the main living space are complemented with rugs. Comfy sofas surround the modern feature fireplace in the living room and impressive patio windows take full advantage of the expansive view, which guests can also see from the generously equipped kitchen/dining room which features a Travertine tiled floor. The three bedrooms – two king-size rooms and a twin - are all immaculately presented, and the master bedroom has a fabulous en-suite shower room. The further two bedrooms are served by a well-appointed bathroom with Travertine tiled floor. A convenient separate WC is also located off the hallway. A garden shed provides additional secure storage for surf boards and beach equipment and a warm outdoor shower is just perfect for surfers coming straight from the beach.
From the property, a short walk takes you into Croyde village in one direction and the beach is just a little further in the other. Croyde has a number of great pubs serving good food and drink and there is also a fabulous little ice cream shop. You can also take a mile walk and head up onto Baggy Point Cliffs where you will get stunning coastal views and continue on the South West Coast Path around to the stunning Putsborough Beach where you can enjoy the sheltered beach and splash in the water. For a little bit of retail therapy, head 5 miles to the vibrant village of Braunton which has some lovely independent shops and eateries as well as a supermarket.
