For authentic Crete lovers, far from the crowd, nice house in Vafes, Apokoronas (Chania) , in the heart of the village.
Half way between Chania (35 kms) and Rethymno (35 kms), less than an hour from the south coast and 12 kms from the sea in Georgioupoulis, Vafes (in greek Βαφές) is ideally situated to visit the island !
But also, from the village, there are many walks in the White Mountains and the somptuous nature
Small and fresh independant house of 30 sqm on shaded courtyard with one bedroom, bathroom and l wc and living room with equipped kitchen
I dont live there but at 15 minuts drive only. I can then give you all necessary informations and help if any problem occurs .
Vafes is a pretty traditional village with 2 cafes, a little grocery and a restaurant. 3 kilometers away is the village of Vrisses with all services .
there are buses but they are scarce. Ideal would be to rent a car at the airport
For economical holidays, walks in the mountains and the gorges, and yet, near everything !
