About this property

SNOWDONIA LOG CABIN RETREAT. 4/6 BERTH FAMILY/PET FRIENDLY. MOUNTAIN VIEWS

Enjoy a relaxing break in this cosy, Norwegian style log cabin situated on a holiday village within the Snowdonia National Park overlooking the Rhinog mountain range. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

The cabin is ideally 4 berth, although it can sleep 6 people as it does have a bed settee in the living room, however seating and dining will be limited for 6 people. It is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms (one double bed, one bunk-bed). A travel cot will not fit in the bedrooms but can be positioned in the living room area. There is an open plan lounge/kitchen, which has microwave, electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils, colour TV, DVD and Sky Freeview. The bathroom has a wash basin, toilet, shower and heated towel rail. There is a large patio area with table, chairs and BBQ and parking for 2 cars. Pillows and quilts are provided but you will need to supply your own bed linen, towels and tea towels. The cabin overlooks the children's play area so is ideal for families with children.

Well behaved pets are welcome absolutely free. Electricity is included in the price. On the holiday village is a convenience store, launderette and children's play area.

Cadair Idris is to the south and Snowdonia is to the North. The surrounding area offers something for everyone, whether its high adventure, enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside or some simple family fun. The cabin is a great place to explore what the area has to offer and after a fun filled day enjoy al fresco dining on the large, private patio and watch the sun go down over the Rhinog mountains.

Beautiful, quiet and homely
Beautiful lodge, plenty of room for a family of 4. Lodge was clean and tidy. In a lovely quiet area, so you could go about your stay with no interruptions. A good central base to be able to travel to different areas. Reception staff were very helpful in our questions regarding snowdon and other areas to visit in north wales. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful stay
Had a great 4 night stay in this lodge and enjoyed all the activities in the area. Lodge had everything we needed and our boys loved playing in the park area nearby. Really impressed with the dog walking area!

Moved to North Wales in 2006 to enjoy rural life and all that Snowdonia has to offer. Live just 35 minutes from the cabin so always nearby to sort out any problems.

Why they chose this property

The site is so peaceful and such a great place to unwind. Our cabin is situated in a large private garden surrounded by a high conifer hedge. The cabin itself is home from home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

What makes this property unique

The patio has stunning, uninterrupted views of the mountains and there is no better place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the Rhinogs. Right by the children's play area so great if you have children as you can keep a close eye on them.
