If you choose just walk on the ferry and avoid the lines and expense of bringing a car. A large, fully provisioned kitchen, Comfortable common/living rooms and four bedrooms can accommodate up to 14 people. This historic house has hardwood floors, original built-ins and plenty of charm. A great home base right in town. The Loring house is the perfect location for your next vacation or get-together.

This house was so cool with lots of fun little features. Cozy seating areas comfy beds, large kitchen space and terrific outdoor area. Great location, so close to town. We were unable to get the internet to work, therefore, no TV for the kids. We loved the authentic charm of this beautiful old house.

This was a dream home in Friday Harbor, San Juan, WA. It was super clean, the host was amazing and helpful, and the location in town was perfect. We loved to sit out in the quiet back yard, where we kept our e-bikes!Just to make sure everyone knows, the new beds are tremendously comfortable! I want one like them for my home.Set up was perfect for our 3 couples and 2 singles - lots of room.I will return!

The property was genuinely lovely. Beds were so comfy and everything we needed was there. Walking distance to the busy area was mereinutes. Friday Harbor is such a busy place but this house was a quiet oasis. The host was so prompt whenever I had a question. Very responsive. I loved it and would definitely go there again. Can't recommend highly enough!

The property was a short walk from downtown Friday Harbor on a quiet side street. It is perfect for travelers who do not bring a car, although be aware that taxi service on the island is minimal. There's lots of common space (living room, porch, sun room) for your party to congregate--a great setting for a family trip. There were just four in our party, and the bathrooms were adequate (although this might be a problem if there are more occupants). This is an older house, which we found to be charming. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't for you.

The new beds were awesome, our family has stayed now for many years and the grandchildren look forward to the red house every time. Plenty of space and so convenient to get to marina.

The house was fine but the upstairs bath tub was very slippery may want to put shower strips down to prevent falling in shower. The beds were comfortable the internet connection was spotty.

A wonderful spot for a family vacation! Super close to town and walkable, but still offered some quiet space. It was ideal for our large group with all the extra beds and the house was well-stocked with essential items. I took a star off because one of the bathrooms was out of order which was an inconvenience with our large group. The home is charming and the price reflects lodging prices on the island overall, however did feel a bit overpriced for the quality of the house. I would still recommend, given that the location can’t be beat and it accommodated our large group!

The house location is amazing! It’s a great older home with eclectic antique charm. We loved the sunroom nook. We had a group of 6 and the house was a great setting for friends to catch up and relax, play card games, and hang out. We all agreed we agreed we will stay here again. The host was great!

This was such a wonderful old house to stay in. We were there to put on my mother’s memorial and it was a perfect place to come and have some peaceful moments. It was also 2 blocks from town which made it very easy to get around. Also my dogs were happy to come with us on this trip and this house made that easy. Thanks!

Perfect location

Great property with plenty of room for a large group. Excellent location with an easy walk to ferry/floatplane docks, restaurants, groceries, and shopping downtown.
