About this property
TREVILLAS, with a garden in Polgooth
This comfortable apartment is close to Fowey and sleeps two people in one bedroom.
Set in a beautiful part of Cornwall, Trevillas is an immaculately presented single storey apartment which serves as an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and coast. This cosy holiday home is just a short drive to Fowey, which was home to English author and playwright Daphne du Maurier. The Georgian port of Charlestown with traditional Square Riggers ships which can be found in the harbour, is just a short drive away, as are the world renowned Lost Gardens of Heligan. Attached to the owner's' home, Trevillas is surrounded by an acre of mature gardens, shared with the owners and which you are welcome to enjoy. Inside, you'll find a bright and sunny living room, a neat kitchen and pretty double bedroom. You also have your own private secluded patio area, which, with Cornwall's sub-tropical climate, is ideal for enjoying an evening meal in lovely surroundings.
Amenities: Central heating. Electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave. Washing machine, tumble dryer. TV/DVD, WiFi. Bed linen and towels included free of charge. Off road parking for one car. Large lawned garden shared with owner and private patio. Regret no pets. No smoking. Shop 2 miles. Pub 1.5 miles. Beach 3 miles.
Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
Town: Polgooth is a quiet settlement on the outskirts of St Austell. 3 miles from the sea, the village is close to beaches, and the South West Coast Path also runs close by. The area has a host of visitor attractions, with the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Tall Ships Harbour at Charlestown all within a 15 minute drive.
