Luxury Country Estate with Concierge and Staff. Close to London, Windsor, Ascot
Relax and unwind in a beautifully designed mini country estate, with stunning interiors and never-ending views. It is perfectly positioned for trips to London, Windsor, Ascot, Henley and Marlow allowing you to choose your activities, mixing peaceful relaxation with trips out. Braywood House is a magical place, steeped in history, surrounded by 10 acres of gardens, meadows and woodland along with access to the Crown Estate forest. Inside, you will find tasteful decor, a fully equipped kitchen to suit the most professional of chefs, a log burning fire, a gym, sound system and more.
Braywood House is in Winkfield, 4 miles outside Windsor, making it easy to explore both Windsor and London whilst staying in stunning countryside. It is also just a stone's throw away from the famous Ascot Racecourse, Henley and Marlow are also close by and for families, Lego Land and Thorpe Park are just a couple of miles away. You will be spoilt for choice with easy access to stunning parks, cultural gems, Michelin Star restaurants and heritage sites locally, including Windsor Castle and Eton College.
Inside, the house is crammed full of period features from fireplaces to antique crystal chandeliers yet the decor has a contemporary twist. There is a bespoke state of the art kitchen designed by Anthony Mullen, 2 reception rooms with fireplaces and phenomenal views over the countryside, a gym, laundry room and cloakroom on the ground floor. Built in 1861, Braywood House is a stunning old vicarage set in over 10 acres of beautiful gardens. Flint-faced, with Bath stone detailing, it has arched eyebrows over its mullioned windows and a hint of a gingerbread house in its curvy decorative woodwork. The attendant church, despite featuring in a Hammer horror film with Oliver Reed, was demolished in the 1960s, but its aisle and a score of graves form a part of the front garden. Walking in this part of Windsor Forest usually involves keys and permits and conversations with the Crown Estate office. Braywood House, though, has free access.
We offer a concierge service from our office in the grounds which is staffed 7 days a week from 9am until 6pm. During these times, there will be people on hand to book taxis or restaurants, help organising activities for your stay or offer advice on anything else that you may need. In addition, the house has a full time gardener and a weekly cleaning service is included.
Should you require any further help or information please don't hesitate to get in touch - we would be happy to hear from you.

The best VRBO any of us have ever rented. The home, it: history, and the grounds are all indescribable, and the communication process and assistance was second to none. Highest of recommendations!!
We have spent three magnificent days at the Braywood house estate.
Everything was very light and comfortable all the way through our stay.
Mrs Siobhan had introduced the house and it’s properties so beautifully , and gave an amazing tour around the house.
The house had fascinating qualities and massive lands which you could go on a walk at any time . What was really pleasing is the accessibility to the Windsor forest which was a good treat for us all. The gardens had great qualities such as the Zip-line , romantic swing , campfire place. In total, the gardens have left a great impression on us, We are in love with it.
Especially our children were beyond happy . We will definitely visit the Braywood house once again.
For now we are left with a satisfying and amazing feeling of rest from this place!
Where do I begin. From the first contact I had with Siobhan, the property manager, inquiring about the Braywood House to the moment it was time to leave, we were treated like royalty. Everything about the stay was flawless. Traveling from across the pond for the first time we put our faith in Siobhan and she did not let us down. We were greeted the moment we pulled up to this story book property and given a tour of the home. Waiting for us was a basket full of delicious treats. Each bedroom was well appointed with its own charm. Every room had an amazing view of the expansive property. The beds were incredibly comfortable with elegant bedding. The bathrooms were gorgeous.
The kitchen was AMAZING! A chef's dream. The grounds were breathtaking with walking paths and so much more. Because we were without a car, we were able to call upon the concierge staff when we needed transportation or food delivery. What a help that was. If you are looking for an extraordinary place to stay do not hesitate to book the Braywood House. We loved it and left there with very special memories. Thank you Siobhan for everything you did for us. You went above and beyond.
Beautiful old home in a majestic setting. Felt like " landed gentry" once we arrived to the Estate.
The property is well maintained by Stuart, a very engaging chap, and the attentive staff, housed a few steps away, were very responsive. . Rachel/Siohban were VERY responsive to all my inquiries and assisted in EVERYTHING from drivers to horseback riding. They also hooked us up with chef Nick, a wonderful chef and we enjoyed 2 lovely dinners, prepared by Nick in the kithchen ,and served outside under the pergola. Well worth the trip alone. Hope to do it again.
Really good communication from first enquiry all the way to checking out.
Braywood house was a great base for us while down here for a tennis tournament. So much to do close by with lovely pubs to eat out. The woodland was great to explore while out running g in the morning and we really felt like we could “get away from it all”.

It was so lovely to be able to host you and your family. You were great guests and we would love to be able to welcome you back to Braywood House at some point in the future.
Really lovely property. Very secluded but not isolated. The communication and help from the concierge service was fantastic. Booking the property and communication was very good and very responsive. Beautiful grounds.
We had a truly wonderful experience with our two kids in the beautiful, modern house and the magical grounds which are really a dream for children. Lovely Siobhan who works on site was also incredibly responsive and helpful. We will be back!

About the host

We are a busy and fun loving family who split our time between living in exciting Lisbon, Portugal and beautiful Winkfield, just outside Windsor in the United Kingdom. We have 2 children aged 16 and 14, who are lots of fun and we enjoy spending time together walking or running through the forest, playing games together and also travelling and eating out. We own a number of businesses and love the daily challenges that being entrepreneurs brings.
Our children are the most obvious element of my life that I couldn't live without. (Closely followed by my husband James, a good coffee in the morning and a glass of nice champagne at any time!).
We love our family and our life and have been fortunate enough to be able to travel frequently together. Every trip brings exciting experiences and an opportunity to make new and lasting friendships.
Please feel free to ask if you have any other questions!
