Comprising an open plan kitchen/diner, lounge and newly refurbished shower room on the ground floor and a large bedroom on the first floor The Coach House provides all you need for that cosy retreat. Perfect for two, but with room upstairs for a cot and high chair on request which is ideal for small families and of course your four legged friends. Small enclosed seating area at the front of the property and ample parking.

Fabulous place to stay

Ideal as a bolt hole to visit Truro and the beaches. The cottage was perfect with all the amenities needed. Would definitely stay again!

Coach House studio Truro

We come to Cornwall with the dog every year. Our little home for our holiday was lovely and clean, we felt at home quickly and very much enjoyed our stay. Booking was very simple and communication with owners was excellent. Location was good and we were able to travel and explore. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Coach House studio

I had a wonderful stay at this delightful gem of a property. It was beautifully clean and had everything I needed for my 5 night stay. The owners Mark & Fiona were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely welcome basket on arrival with a treat for my little dog. I stayed here whilst my daughter was at Boardmasters festival and it was the perfect spot to be able to travel to and from but also far enough away in beautiful Cornwall. I felt totally safe as a solo traveller in this lovely home. Nearby beaches for dog walking and within walking distance of a lovely pub/village. Highly recommend this perfect little home to travellers

Perfect Bolt Hole

Exactly what we needed & expected for our brief stop over. Comfortably equipped & hosts made us very welcome. British "summer" weather forced us to stay in, however, the perfect opportunity to rest, relax & enjoy the local Tandoori takeaway in front of the T.V. supping on the generous gift of red wine provided in our welcome hamper! Will definitely come back for sure. Thank you Mark & Fiona

Cute little holiday cottage

Great communication right from the start from Fiona and Mark, they made everything so easy. The cottage is just off a junction of 2 main roads but it doesn't feel like they once you're inside. Its in the perfect location for exploring Cornwall as its central to everything. The cottage is small but has everything you need and is decorated beautifully. The spiral staircase does get some getting used to, pack lightly as taking a big case up the stairs is hard work. Also needing the bathroom in the middle of the night requires planning as you have navigate the stairs. The bedroom being in the roof space means ducking when maneuvering around the bed but you do get used to it quickly. Overall the owners have made use of every inch of space really well and the cottage is a great little bolt hole.

The property is ideally located for exploring either coast. It is very well equipped and has everything you need. I can thoroughly recommend this property. The owner is really helpful, which is always a bonus.

Cornish born and bred, both Fi and I have a passion for the beautiful County of Cornwall and love nothing better than sharing our knowledge of go-to destinations and secret spots with our guests.

​Truck House has been our family home for over 24 years, and when our two daughters flew the nest, we couldn’t bring ourselves to part with it - so, we decided to share our lovely home with others. Over the past 5 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting guests from all corners of the world. So enjoyable has it been, we have now expanded the business with the addition of the Coach House Studio, Kara Cottage ,Winslow Cottage and our Touring Van Doris for that different experience under the stars.

When time allows and when not hosting guests, we love nothing more than jumping in our campervan with our two springer spaniels, Belle and Bryher, in search of perfect waves and wildlife. Cornwall has so much to offer that we rarely stray from her shores but, on occasion, we do and in recent years have visited Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Costa Rica. We look for something special from the places we stay in and know our visitors will too.

We want our guests to have a wonderful experience, to relax, unwind and feel at home. We are always striving to improve and welcome your feedback to help us grow. So, live life to the full and enjoy Luxury Cornish Escapes!
