Great location and property, perfect for a wind down and relaxing holiday.
Plenty to do and see in area if you wanted more activity as well.
Great base to tour from.
Accommodation brilliant and equipped with everything you could need. Views from balcony stunning, from where we spotted seals and dolphins. Most definitely would return😁

Simply Superb
My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic week's holiday at Oceans Edge. From the second I turned the key in the door and opened it - it had the WOW factor. The welcome items, especially the champagne, were a really nice start to our holiday. The apartment is immaculate. It felt immediately like a home from home.
This beautiful apartment is large, spacious and airy. The decor and furnishings are very tasteful and plush.
It is well stocked with everything that you could wish for, from the well appointed kitchen, through to the books, dvd's and board games.
The stunning view from the private balcony is amazing. Set in a prime location, on Polkirt Hill, this is a 5 minute walk to the harbour and the centre of Mevagissey.
The South West Coast path runs past the apartment building too.
Oceans Edge ticked every box for us. Made our holiday fantastic having such a wonderful base and a very comfy place to stay.
There are plenty of places to eat, visit and explore this unspoilt corner of Cornwall.
I would not hesitate to recommend Oceans Edge to anyone.
I am sure that we will be back soon.
Fantastic apartment - we didn't want to leave. The view is wonderful and everything in the flat is clean and furnished to a high standard. Really helpful hosts - replied really quickly when I messaged (not that there was a problem it turned out!).Would absolutely return another time. Nothing remotely bad to say. Loved it.
Amazing sea views from the property with a short but steep walk to the harbour, contemporary furnishings and well equipped. Dropped a star for some cleaning issues, for instance head board was dusty and valance sheet of bed needed to be changed or hovered and lot of dust on the skirting boards. Certainly not enough to put me off returning though. The car parking space is flanked by 2 pillars, my SUV had about 3 inches clearance each side so with my mirrors retracted I just about squeezed in but it was very unnerving.
Wir waren begeistert von der Wohnung, die Küchenausstattung war sehr reichhaltig! Es war alles sauber.Der Parkplatz für diese Wohnung ist für eine Limousine oder Kombi praktisch nicht nutzbar, er ist zusammen mit 2 anderen Stellplätzen der schmalste Parkplatz. Auf Nachfrage beim Vermieter hat dieser sehr schnell reagiert und mitgeteilt, dass man auch am Haus außerhalb des Parkplatzes parken könne. Das Problem ist nur, dass Mieter der anderen Wohnungen es auch so gemacht haben, sodass weiterhin Parkplätze fehlten.

Beautiful View
The apartment is perched on a hill directly overlooking the sea with amazing views. It's a short walk into town but a tough walk back up, but not too bad. The parking space is ridiculously narrow for anything other than a small car but the visitors spaces were always free. Overall a lovely apartment in a beautiful part of eth country.
We absolutely loved our three day stay here. We can't fault it whatsoever. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds in both rooms were comfortable and the living space perfect for our family of four. We have stayed in a few apartments in Cornwall over the past decade and this was by far the best. The views were spectacular. See the photos.The walk to Mevagissey harbour, from the path right outside the apartment is a better option than to drive there. The road is very narrow and tight and you will have to pay for parking nearby. The views walking down to the harbour are a bonus. The walk to Portmellon Beach from the apartment was pleasant. It took us 20 minutes but there is a small paid car park on the beach if you want to drive. We walked all the way to Colana Beach where we came across sheep and lambs grazing. Our children loved this as they were so close. We ate at The Fish Grill food truck followed by Ice Cream from The Blue Hut. Both very good and reasonably priced. Crepes at She Sells and breakfast at The Lighthouse Café were both very enjoyable. We got all our pies and pastries from The Cornish Bakery.We will be back.
Beautiful property in a great location on the hill just above Mevagissey harbour. Great views, spacious and clean and surprisingly short walk down to the harbour side. Would love to go back

Excellent apartment with all facilities you could need and amazing views.
Parking space is far too tight . Driving through the village is very difficult due to very tight roads .
Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist top und bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht!
Von dort aus kann man alle bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Cornwall innerhalb kurzer Zeit erreichen. Der Tipp des Vermieters, mit der Mava-Fowey-Ferry zu fahren war einmalig. Wir konnten eine große Gruppe von Delfinen aus nächster Nähe sehen.
Vom Balkon aus konnten wir täglich zwei Robben beobachten.
Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung war super. Allerdings sind die Matratzen doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sollten ausgetauscht werden.
Die Ferienwohnung war sauber, allerdings sollte darauf geachtet werden, wie die Mieter das Geschirr und die Gläser hinterlassen. Wir mussten einen Großteil der Gläser spülen, bevor wir diese benutzen konnten.
Der Gastgeber war top in der Kommunikation und sehr freundlich.
Absolut zu empfehlen!

Hi. We are a brother and sister act - born and bred within a few miles of Mevagissey. Despite us both independently moving away from our village (very unheard of) to work and experience life over the Tamar we have never ever left our roots and both always knew that we would return with our families to our beloved homeland. Ironically we both found ourselves widowed at relatively young ages. However out of heartbreak comes good and as a result we are now lucky enough to be the owners of No5 Waterfront Court & No6 Nare Court. We hope they will give you as much pleasure as they give us.
Why they chose this property
We both so love Mevagissey. It conjures up such happy memories of family life as children. Going out on mackerel fishing trips and then going home to eat the catch. Alternatively eating fish and chips or cockles and mussels from the harbour, with gulls swiping down to take part. Mevagissey just hasn't changed. It is still one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall with its busy working harbour, bustling streets and an eclectic mix of craft & gift shops. You can hang up the car keys and within minutes dine at a variety of pubs & waterfront restaurants, sampling the fresh locally caught fish. Wake up to the clanking of the boats and watch the fishermen just outside of your bedroom window. As locals we love driving the 8 miles to stay here!

No6 Nare Court is just 5 mins walk from the harbour front with its own on-site parking - a rarity in Mevagissey.
The views whilst sitting in the apartment are outstanding. Relax on the private balcony & look down into Mevagissey & gaze for miles across the ocean. You will find the location both spectacular & tranquil.
