Les Pieds dans l’Eau, House on the shores of the lake du Bourget, Savoie.

A charming two story house situated directly on the shores of the Lac du Bourget (les pieds dans l’eau), the largest Natural lake in France and within its nature reserve. The house is located within the Village of Conjux with its fishmonger, restaurants, harbour and tennis courts.
The house consists of a large open plan living and dining area with a wood burner, a kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the rooms have uninterrupted views onto the lake and the surrounding mountains
Externally, there is a large garden with a sun terrace, a private pontoon and boat launch ramp with direct private access to the lake for swimming, sailing, fishing and other water sport activities. The area is famous for its cycling routes like the Col du Grand Colombier et Mont du Chat recently featured in the Tour de France . The house is nearby the historical Abbaye de Hautecombe and the medieval village of Chanaz along the canal de Saviere. Across the lake you can visit the spa town of Aix-les-bains known as the Riviera of the Alps or sample wine in the nearby vineyards of Jonjieux with its Michelin star restaurant.

Breathtaking location

We had a wonderful stay! It was very warm weather. We appreciated the ventilators and the cozy inside!!! And the deck was great. We would advice airconditioning, and improving the entrance to the boatramp that was a bit sketchy, and there were many small mosquitoes, but what can you expect when you are practically ON thelake. The views were breathtaking. We would love to return in a bit cooler weather.

Vue époustouflante sur le lac les pieds dans l eau !

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour de 2 semaines passé dans cette maison. 2 familles avec 5 enfants de 2 à 15 ans. +++ : la vue, l'acces à la baignade sécurisé, la terrasse, maison tres fonctionnelle, le parking pour 2 à 3 voitures. A savoir: les moustiques sont tres tres presents et il n y a malheureusement pas de moustiquaire aux fenetres (l'unique point noir de notre séjour mais nous sommes au bord d'un lac...). Pour conclure, nous recommandons vivement cette maison, certe simple, mais idéale pour des vancances en famille dans un cadre naturel et avec une vue époustouflante ou chacun peut vaquer à ses occupations en toute liberté (baignade, canoe, peche, lecture, jeux, ....). Merci aux propriétaires

Traumlage direkt am See

Die Lage des Hauses ist unübertroffen: ein großes Gelände direkt am See mit eigenem Steg und kleinem gesonderten Zugang für Kajak und Boot. An verschiedenen Stellen kleine Bereiche, die zum Entspannen einluden und einen herrlichen Blick auf den See boten. Das Beste: die große Terrasse mit großem Tisch, großem schwenkbaren Sonnenschirm und herrlichem Ausblick auf den See und die gegenüberliegenden Berge. Auch ein Barbecue war vorhanden. Wir verbrachten viele Stunden auf dieser herrlichen Terrasse. Wir hatten sehr viel Glück mit dem Wetter, so dass wir uns fast ausschließlich im Freien aufhielten und uns immer wieder zum Schwimmen oder Kajak-Fahren zum See begaben. Das Haus war innen gut ausgestattet, aber leider mussten wir in der Küche erst eine Putzaktion starten, um diese so nutzen zu können, wie wir uns das vorstellten. Auch von allen Zimmern aus hatte man einen schönen Blick auf See und Berge. Es gab ausreichend gut ausgestattete Badezimmer und Toiletten. Eine defekte Toilettenspülung konnte nach kurzer Zeit durch Bemühungen des Vermieters vom Fachmann repariert werden. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern verlief sehr gut, auch wenn wir sie nicht persönlich kennen lernen konnten. Anfragen über eMail wurden aber umgehend und sehr freundlich beantwortet. Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. Die Sauberkeit im Haus kann noch verbessert werden aber die Lage ist traumhaft. Vielen Dank!

maison de famille en bord de lac

Situation idéale pour passer un bon séjour en bord de lac. Belle terrasse dominante. Très belle exposition. Le plus : le ponton privé. L'accès à la maison se fait par un étroit et long chemin pentu de terre et gravillons uniquement piéton. A l'arrivée, les 3 salles de bains étaient propres, les autres pièces et placards laissaient à désirer. Un micro-ondes serait le bienvenu. La présence du paysagiste (coupe fils très bruyant pendant deux jours fériés) fut pénible surtout avec un bébé.

Great family memories

Localisation exceptionnelle au bord du lac et contact très agréable avec les propriétaires mais aussi les personnes autours (femme de ménage, jardinier et voisins...) La maison est au bout d'un chemin escarpé au calme. Elle dispose d'un accès au lac facile même avec des enfants en bas âge. Il fait chaud durant la canicule surtout que la facade arrière ne dispose pas de fenêtre mais des ventilateurs sont à disposition dans toutes les chambres. Un grand merci aux propriétaires de partager leur maison. Nous reviendrons souvent!

Parfaite maison de vacance

Magnifique maison avec situation exclusive et exceptionnelle au bord du lac du Bourget. De plus, contact très agréable avec les propriétaires très réactifs et disponibles. Fantastische Lage

Wir haben mit zwei Erwachsenen und vier Kindern eine Woche hier verbracht. Die Lage, die Landschaft, der See mit einem herrlichen Ausblick und einer für Groß und Klein geeigneten Badestelle (mit steinigem Untergrund) haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einer besonderen Zeit gemacht. Der individuelle Charakter des Hauses und der verwunschene Charme des Gartens haben ebenfalls dazu beigetragen. Das Haus hat definitiv fünf Sterne verdient, es sind aber aus unserer Sicht einige kleinere Reparaturen und Arbeiten angezeigt. Trotzdem: Empfehlung!

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche am See verlebt. Objekt entspricht der Beschreibung, einfach ausgestattet.Die Zimmer und Duschen sind etwas klein, die Küchenutensilien einschliesslich Backofen dürften etwas sauberer sein.Der Zugang zum Haus über den schmalen steilen steinigen Weg ist mit Gepäck und Proviant eine kleine Herausforderung.Wir kamen mit zwei grossen Autos und einem Motorrad, das Parken des langen Mercedes Viano war nicht möglich, er musste beim Rathaus stehen bleiben.Alles in allem wird man von der aussergewöhnlichen Lage dieses charmanten Hauses und der Aussicht entschädigt !

Unique and well equipped house at a wonderful lake

Dear Patrick and Sharon. Thank you that you made everything possible we asked for and thank you for the warm welcome with the delicious wine. You are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed your house and had a good time here in these late-summer-days, especially on the terrace and with the canoes and tabletennis. The whole family says that it's one of the best holiday-house we've ever had. It´s unique with all the decoration, the different rooms and the well equipped kitchen.

Accès direct au lac, terrasse et embarcations à disposition sont les vrais points positifs de cette maison. Mais la rénovation annoncée de la maison n'est pas totale : électricité limite, fenêtres d'époque, volets qui laissent passer le jour et ménage de surface fait mais il ne faut être trop regardant. A signaler, l'accès à l'emplacement de parking de la maison pour conducteur initié.

Fantastique emplacement les pieds dans l'eau

Une vieille maison pleine de charme au bord de l'eau avec une vue magnifique. Même si la maison est relativement petite les propriétaires ont su tirer parti de l'espace offert pour en faire un endroit agréable. Nous avons eu la chance de disposer d'embarcation pour profiter de l'endroit ce qui a participé a un séjour inoubliable

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in Top-Lage

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus richtig wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Aussicht auf den See und das Gebirge ist fantastisch. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub bei sehr netten Vermietern.

La maison abandonnée au bord du lac

Maison avec terrasse et vue sur le lac du Bourget à 180°. Hélas, Nous avons trouvé l'intérieur très sale : poussière au sol, toiles d'araignée, sciure de lambris sur des lits, vieux papiers qui traînaient, 1 poubelle non vidée... Nous l'avons signalé au proprio (avc photos) qui nous a répondu que le ménage avait été fait tout 1 weekend (????), que c'était dû au COVID donc pas eu le temps de faire mieux alors que la résa. datait de 4 semaines. Nous avons également subit des nuisances sonores nocturnes du voisinage (musique, jets de pétard, cris) avc intervention de la gendarmerie.

It is a lovely house in an excellent location. The house has all the facilities you want for a great family holiday. The village of Conjux is quiet - just what we wanted. The easy access to the lake is brilliant. We had some contact with the owners and they were really helpful. The bottom line is that I hope we can stay here again another year

Superbe localisation au bord du lac du Bourget

Nous avons passé deux très bonnes semaines dans cette location au bord du lac du Bourget. Le fait d'avoir un accès direct au lac a été très appréciable pendant la canicule et l'eau du lac était à 26°C ! La table de tennis de table sous la terrasse a permis de faire des parties même pendant les jours de pluie. La maison est très confortable avec quatre vraies chambres, trois salles de bains et 3 WC (dont un indépendant). Toutes les chambres ont une superbe vue sur le lac. Nous avons pris presque tous nos repas sur la terrasse avec sa longue table et ses parasols. Nous avons passé toutes nos journées sur la terrasse, dans le jardin ou à nous baigner dans le lac. La vue de la terrasse sur le lac est une merveille et le lever du soleil sur la montagne en face est inoubliable. La situation de la maison fait qu’il n’y a aucun bruit de voiture (la maison est un peu loin de l’endroit où garer la voiture car il faut descendre un petit chemin étroit pour y accéder). On entend la nuit que le bruit des vaguelettes et des nombreux oiseaux du lac. Nous avons un chat et celui-ci a aussi passé de très bonnes vacances à chasser (sans succès) les libellules et les papillons du jardin. Nous reviendrons très certainement si nous le pouvons.
