Clarissa and her mother were very welcoming. Met us at the apartment and immediately made us feel at home. The apartment was beautful with spacious bedrooms and living areas. Quiet and an easy walk to everything. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay here again!

Very good communication with the host and great location. Very good sized property with 2 bedrooms plus another bed in the living room.
Unfortunately there was a noticeable smell of dampness across the property which seemed to be masked with a strong air freshener. The bedding also did not smell fresh and had a damp smell.
I’m not sure if this is only a winter issue, but it wasn’t pleasant.
Overall the property was lovely, and exactly as described. Very spacious and well presented, however discovering large amounts of old crumbs between the sofa cushions was off putting. Better cleaning in out of sight areas. As we do like to cook when travelling, a better selection of cookware, and no chipped china would have been appreciated.
Clarissa was amazing and met us personally at the flat. She gave us so much information, about Lecce, the surrounding area, other towns and even ferrying our car to Sicily on the next leg of our trip! HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone wanting an unbelievable experience!!

The accommodations were spacious and very comfortable for our family. Everything was within walking distance and we enjoyed our time there very much. We had several parking options nearby (paid or unpaid for a slight walk) and we also had access to a grocery store if we wanted to cook at home. The historic property is unique and the interior was beautifully appointed.
This beautiful property is extremely central but in a quiet street. It had all the facilities needed to be able to really enjoy our stay.
All the restaurants and attractions of Lecce are within easy walking distance.
Clarissa is an excellent host and we would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.
Great location in historic center near everything.
Very comfortable except we went in November and the house was very cold no heat available.
We loved everything else , the host was very helpful with information of the town.we ate out every meal kitchen not well equipped for cooking, long walk to train station when you lugged heavy luggage.did not realized the third bedroom you pay for it’s a living room with a futon, not a separate room. Loved Lecce.

This place was wonderful! Our host truly couldn't have been kinder- she spoke perfect English and was so happy to offer suggestions and answer any questions about Lecce. The apartment is huge with two separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the house, which is nice for privacy. We loved it here and would stay again. We had a bit of trouble with parking but figured it out, and it was worth it to stay so close to the center of town. Beautiful!
This lovely, historic apartment has soaring stone ceilings and many original features along with modern bathrooms and spacious rooms. It is in the heart of the Centro storica on a lovely quiet street. It could very comfortably accommodate two couples or a family.
Clarissa is a wonderful host, there to greet us in person when we arrived and very responsive whenever we were in touch. She provided us with a great list of restaurants, excursions and things to do.
We would highly recommend this beautiful apartment and definitely stay there again if we return to lovely Lecce.
The property is in a very good location for the centre of Lecce and in a quiet street. The property itself is very well maintained and beautifully decorated with waĺls tof natural stone. Clarissa is very friendly and helpful and responds very quickly with any queries. A delightful place to stay. One of our party is a wheelchair user who can walk a little. There are 2 shallow steps into the property but once inside it is easy to wheel around and has wide doors. There is a threshold into a small shower in one bathroom and a low step into the other shower
but otherwise it is wheelchair friendly.
We spent a week here and truly enjoyed it. The location is perfect. Right in the historic district and a two minute walk to the Duomo. The street is quiet (we were there during May). Clarissa, the property manager, quickly responded to any and all questions. She gave great suggestions for restaurants and day trips and can help organize excursions for you (we did our own since we had a car). I saw some reviews complaining about the parking. First, you must understand it is a ZTL so cars are not allowed in (one of the major appeals of visiting and staying in the historic center). Second, on street parking or a secure parking lot are only a few minutes walk away. We had no problems with parking during our entire week stay. We plan to come back here again with another couple to stay.
Very nice property in a very good position. Central but quiet. Clarissa and her family were always available when needed.
Only thing I would say is that it is not clear that you pay extra for an extra bedroom. I booked the flat for my brother and I because it had two bedrooms. However Clarissa told me that she assumed two people would only need one bedroom. There was a charge of 35 euros a night for the extra room. This is the first time I have experienced this. I don’t think it is clear on booking.
Otherwise all very good.
The apartment is conveniently located and comfortable. It is an easy walk to many historical sites, restaurants, and shops. Parking is a short walk away and reasonably priced. At times it was challenging to find a parking space particularly on the weekend when parking is free. Clarissa was very helpful with check-in and accommodated us with our late arrival due to flight changes. The kitchen could be better equipped. The pots and pans are in sad condition. Utensils and glassware are minimal. Underneath the kitchen sink there was a strong odor caused by mold. We found the bedrooms to be a bit musty. There are dehumidifiers in the apartment but none them were running. If these issues are addressed, we would consider staying again.

The flat is not even a minute's walk from the Duomo, in the full centre of Lecce, the most exclusive area of Lecce. Parking is not even a two minute walk away and costs 60 cents/hour and it is free for 15 hours a day and at weekends. Otherwise there is a very large guarded car park opposite and costs 7 euro for the whole day.
In the kitchen the doors were changed a month ago, probably the smell was from the wood and paint. But I think you can only smell it if you open the door under the sink because we painted the inside wall.
There are dehumidifiers in the rooms, just plug them in, you could use them if you needed to. I put them in the house as a precaution for particularly hot or humid days. Unfortunately it was thirty degrees in the sirocco on the days you stayed, however I will certainly take your advice to heart, I will personally check the pans and change them if they are ruined and add utensils.
Lovely large apartment with historical significance but spoilt by a lack of basic necessities. Reviews 2 years ago reported lack of basic kitchen necessities. We were disappointed to find the same and the Hostess has failed to act on these issues. We had to boil water in a cheap saucepan, cooking pans were old and scratched and a serious lack of glassware and basic cooking necessities. Bed linen and towels were thin. The apartment was cold and damp smelling and we were told we couldn't have heating. Clarissa was extremely helpful in checking in and assisting with parking and shopping.
Architecturally stunning residence in the heart of Lecce
Our stay in this, a former monastery, was just what we needed for our fifteen day stay. The apartment was pristine. It was very spacious, tastefully decorated and fully equipped-such a large space makes you feel right at home. The apartment looks exactly as in the photos. It’s located on a quiet street-you’re literally less than a one minute walk from the heart of the Old Town with its many restaurants, ice cream/souvenir shops, mini grocery store, a laundromat and the Duomo. Check-in was great. We met our host-Clarissa in person along with her mother and father. All three were a pleasure to work with and not only did they greet us upon arrival but also showed us around the apartment. Throughout our stay, Clarissa responded to us timely and even checked on us halfway through our stay asking if we needed anything or had any additional questions. Both bedrooms were comfortable with lots of storage space, living room couch was wonderful and the kitchen/dining area was great. Having two full bathrooms was a treat for us although we couldn’t use the shower in the smaller bathroom due to dysfunctional shower head. This was not a problem for us since the other shower was sufficient for us but this probably needs to be addressed. Being able to open the windows and the door to the outdoor patio allowed a nice airflow throughout the apartment. With its nice table and chairs, it’s a great place for mornings coffee.Highly recommend this beautiful residence.
Our stay at The Residence of Clary was nothing short of amazing, thanks to Clarissa. From start to finish, Clarissa went above and beyond to ensure our trip was seamless and memorable. Warm, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions, she made us feel welcome even before we arrived. Her clear communication and detailed guidance about the house were invaluable, especially since we were traveling with a wheelchair.
Clarissa’s local tips were spot on and truly enriched our experience. She even managed a small accident (our fault) with kindness and grace, turning what could have been a stressful moment into a reassuring one. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely caring, and it made our holiday all the more special.
As for the house, staying here was an absolute pleasure. The house is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Located in the heart of the historical city center, everything was conveniently close—cafés, restaurants, deli, a laundry service etc. Despite being in such a central location, the house is nestled on a quiet, charming street, ensuring peaceful and restful nights. Inside, the house is a true gem. We particularly loved the lovely little patio outside and the excellent accessibility, which was essential for us.
Thank you, Clarissa, for making our holiday truly unforgettable. Your kindness made all the difference—we couldn’t recommend your home more highly!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the Clary Monastery. Architecturally it is a delightful space featuring arched ceilings and spacious rooms. It is a block away from a a main pedestrian arterial that spans the length of the city. Also a block away are restaurants, gourmet take-out and a several store to buy provisions. The property would be ideal for the very hot summer months as it is protected from much sunlight. The space does not offer a washing machine. We washed in the sink and hung our clothes on a line in the very small courtyard. The temp was in the 70's but the courtyard gets little breeze and it took a couple days for our clothes to dry. A laundromat is a 15 minute walk away. The kitchen disappointed. The very few pots and pans are very cheap, and those that are non stick are flaking the coating. Utinsels are sufficient but minimal. I would have appreciated a larger coffee pot. I found salt but there was no pepper or olive oil or herbs for cooking, ingredients I find at all other locations I rent. Just plan ahead and bring what you need if you plan to cook a meal. Parking is convenient, inexpensive and a five minute walk away. My biggest disappointment is choosing an apartment for a stated price and learning the day before checking in that since my other guest did not sleep in the same room that I had to spend an additional 25 euros a night to use a second room. The property is advertised as a multi bedroom property. If the owners invested in some upgraded kitchen apparatus I would stay again.
