4 bedrooms family home with fantastic hills views

4 Bedroom semi-detached house in the picturesque town of Ilfracombe, North Devon. 10 minutes drive from award winning beaches of Woolacombe, great for surfing. Perfect place for family holidays

The house sits back from the road, 300 yards from local amenities. Off street parking for 3 cars.

On the ground floor, the original tile corridor from the stained-glass porch leads to the light and spacious open plan kitchen diner area, opening onto a large decking area overlooking a private garden and the hills. The west facing garden upper and lower decking areas with barbecue are the perfect places for delightful outdoor evenings.
Kitchen is of course fully equipped with dishwasher, range cooker and american style fridge freezer. Separate TV room with wood burner and large corner sofa, TV , video game console. Downstairs toilets.
In the stairs you will see a picture from each of our holidays
On the first floor, 2 double and 2 single bedrooms, each single bedroom has 2 beds. One of the double bedroom also has a TV. The other has a kingsize bed. Both double bedrooms are very large. One family bathroom with toilet, bathtub and separate shower on the first floor.
Large garden with barbecue area, with storage available for your bikes and surfboards.
We will make available for you our washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility room on the main floor of the house.
We are leaving the books that we are not taking with us and you are welcome to watch/read them during your stay. Some board games are also available.

Quiet area, 300 yards from the nearest CO-OP and pub. 2 minutes walk from Ilfracombe High Street with all amenities.
The town has great eateries and pubs, a cinema for rainy days. Several award beaches are within a 10 minute drive radius, Woolacombe, Barricane and Hele.
Exmoor is 20 minutes away, fantastic base for walking holidays.
North Devon is a stunning area and we are sure that you will love it.

We had a lovely stay in Anne and Etienne's home. They were very welcoming and communication was good. The house is well located being close to the town centre and harbour etc and the trampoline in the garden was great for the children whilst waiting to go out. Recommended

Lovely house, great view

This is a lovely house to stay in. Great location for exploring Ilfracombe and it’s beaches. The garden is a bonus for the children and the view is something I didn’t want to leave! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

A lovely home from home.

Eight of us (four adults and four kids) spent a lovely week in the house during the summer holidays. There's plenty of room in the house and space for two cars in the drive. Lovely location with Bicclescombe Park a short walk away. The house had everything we needed. Anne was quick to respond to all our questions. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful views

We loved this property , its was like going home to home , felt like a home rather than a rental accommodation , full of character and everything you would need for a comfy stay . Bedrooms are large , comfy beds and plenty of storage . Wifi was good for the teenagers and it was quiet at night . Good location , we walked to the shops and harbour and to the famous tunnel beaches and its was only 10min drive to the great sandy beach of Woolacombe . Any questions were quickly responded to and we all had a great holiday . Many thanks !

Wonderful stay in Ilfracombe

We had a wonderful holiday in Ilfracombe staying in this brilliant property. The location is fantastic - only a few minutes walk from the High Street with pubs, shops & restaurants and the entrance to the Tunnels beaches. The harbour was also within very easy reach by foot. The property was big enough for 8 to stay comfortably although it did take some co-ordination to use the 1 bathroom (there is a downstairs toilet too). The property was very well equipped - the kids loved the Playstation, we used the very clean BBQ a couple of times, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The communication with our host was excellent from start to finish. Easy to check in, good instructions re recycling, and a helpful welcome guide with hints and tips. The bottle of fizz was a lovely touch too - thank you. Ilfracombe and the surrounding area is ace whatever the weather. We enjoyed the local beaches, theme parks, pubs & restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here for a brilliant family holiday. Thank you again to our hosts.

Excellent location / property

It was our first time visiting Devon and we chose Ilfracombe as our base. It was a great choice as it is a great town with plenty to see and do. This property is in an ideal location and is within easy walking distance of the high street, the beach and the harbour. The house itself is very spacious and has everything you need for your stay. It has fantastic views from the back decking and is in a really quite residential area. Anne was a great host and was really responsive. We didn't have any issues at all during our stay. Thank you, it was a fantastic choice for our first Devon holiday and we will definitely be back :)

Fantastic property in a great location

The house is amazing and in a really great location, only a short walking distance to the high street, town and the beach. The house was clean with everything you need to enjoy the stay. The only slight negatives for us were that we found that there was not constant access to hot water, which was a pain when we wanted a quick shower and had to wait while the hot water was boosted. We also found the bed in second double room to be very uncomfortable. These were only minor drawbacks and both the house and location were amazing and Anne was always available if we needed to ask any questions. We would have no hesitation in staying again.

A wonderful house excellently located.

Broomfield is an excellent house. It felt like a lovely family home which for us was so much better than a clinical holiday house. The facilities were excellent, the space large and everything was brilliant. Lots of contact from the owners and the location was fantastic for access to Ilfracombe.

Perfect - stop for Ilfracombe and around

What a lovely place to stay and what a convenient location with ample parking off the street. The house was very roomy and just like a home form home. The hosts were very helpful and responded to everything promptly. We would heartily recommend a stop over here if you wanted to explore this part of Devon.
