We loved this property! We want to come back for every season. The beds were so comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and the location was perfect for us.
Very quiet, great amenities, wonderful accommodations!! Close to wonderful adventures!!! Then come back to quiet, hot tub, sauna and wonderful accommodations !!
If you’re into hiking, this is the place! Tons of hikes around the Mt Baker area. The hosts are very responsive! A few good restaurants, especially Grahams, good food & music
We had another fantastic stay at Sasquatch Mountain Hideaway. This place is perfect and well though out. The sauna and hot tub are always a hit and this time we were able to explore the neighborhood and the nearby river walk. A truly special spot for us. Hope to return again.
This place was perfect for a getaway ski weekend! Well furnished with some great amenities (hot tub, sauna), plenty of privacy and a cozy atmosphere. The owners were very responsive to all questions and even went out of the way to ship us a jacket that we left at the house. Would highly recommend!
Needed a place to relax a little and this was the perfect place. Was close to all the places we wanted to visit Glacier, Silver Lake, Artist Point, Heliotrope Ridge and also had hot tub and sauna to relax in the evening. Was a little too warm to get firepit going. Thank you so much.
Our family of 4 had a great stay at your cabin! The neighborhood is great and so close to Baker, perfect for our snowboarding basecamp. Our family really enjoyed your selection of games & movies, the PacMan console was huge hit with our kids. Hot tub was super clean and we appreciated the basket of slippers to wear out to it when it's wet and chilly outside. It was great to have bedroom suite on the main floor with its own bathroom, kids loved having their own hangout space upstairs too! We would stay again, thank you so much!
My wife and I love the Mt Baker area and this was great location to stay and have easy access to all we wanted to do there. The cabin has all of the necessary amenities with some extra goodies like hot tub and sauna. It is pet friendly which is great for us as we always hike with our pups. The hosts were very quick to respond with answers to my questions. There was some kind of glitch with the Vrbo system and we did not receive the access code to get in to the property. I messaged the hosts and heard back in less than 5 minutes with the needed code. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this property.
My friends and I enjoyed staying here for the weekend. The house is bigger than expected, especially the bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. The location is beautiful and near lots of places to hike and check out the creek/river. It was too hot for us to enjoy the spa/sauna. We weren't able to figure out how to use the sauna or the TV, but we didn't contact the owners either, so no fault of theirs. It wasn't priority enough to matter. I'd stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sasquatch Mountain Hideaway!
We had planned to spend more time outside at local attractions, but it rained for most of our visit; so we ended up spending more time at the VRBO. This vrbo was so amazing and so full of fun that we had a blast sticking around the property! There was a fantastic range of activities - including sauna, hot tub, table-top arcade, tv-watching, games to play, ... everyone in our group of 9 to 50-something-year-olds had a great time! The Sasquatch touches were a lot of fun too.
We also appreciated that, even though there were quite a few homes in the area, the vrbo felt very private.
The communication from the caring hosts was awesome too! They responded very quickly, and they were so helpful!
Our entire experience was lovely!
Thank you!
This mountain hideway was wonderful. The pictures dont do justice to how much room there actually is in each bedroom. The hot tub and sauna were awesome for the big snow storm we had while we were there. Great place for families.
Loved the location, quiet and comfortability of this cabin! The neighborhood is just 30 min away from Artists Point! Sauna and hot tub are really nice.
Great experience would definitely rent again, but only in the winter. Inside the home itself was 75 degrees or hotter everyday. It was so hot that we could not cook, without increasing the temperature inside the home, but the thermostat was set as low as it would go. In order to not heat the home anymore than it already was we had to eat out. Thankfully we were out exploring and were only in the home in the morning or evening, but even then it was usually well into the 80s and we were sweating, wearing only shorts.
We are Rebekah and Morgan Ferry. When we aren't working in Seattle, we are playing in the mountains, on the water or out exploring different parts of the world. We love the outdoors and make every effort we can to explore and experience nature.
Why they chose this property
We have been snowboarding, hiking and exploring the North Cascades and Mt. Baker wilderness since we were kids. We bought our cabin near Mt. Baker so we would always have a place to stay when we want to hit the mountain, go hiking or just generally relax and get away from the city. Glacier Springs is a very beautiful, quiet and friendly neighborhood and we love it there!
What makes this property unique
We love this home because it is away from everything, quiet, comfortable, beautiful and smack dab in the middle of where we love to hang out and have fun.
