Nice complex situated in a small, charming hamlet in Lucca surroundings. This property has been recently and carefully restored and turned into 6 welcoming apartments providing tastefully furnished interiors. The unit Flavia 3 overlooks the hamlet while the other 5 apartments offer views over the surrounding landscape and over the garden.
All of the apartments provide floor heating and cooling system in order to guarantee high comforts all year round.
This property is nicely located, halfway between Pisa and Lucca (both approx. 8 km away) and at the same time it is only a short distance away from the Versilia coastline area with beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants and shopping facilities (approx. 35 km away).
Distances: a food shop and a bus stop are only 100 m away, a supermarket is at 5 km, Lucca (railway station) 8 km away, Pisa (airport) 8 km, the Versilia coastline area (beaches) approx. 35 km, Florence 85 km away. The “Cinque Terre” region is approx 90 km away.
At guests disposal: large shared garden with swimming-pool (10 x 5 m - min. depth 1,5 m - max. depth 1,6 m - open from 8.30 to 20.00) to be shared with the owners, barbecue. All of the apartments provide Jacuzzi shower, washing-machine, internet access.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here! The apartment had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location, the surroundings are very picturesque and the village had everything we needed including some nice restaurants. Great connections too- we didn't have a car but the bus was just down the road and really easy to use. We travelled to and from Pisa airport and had a day out in Lucca with no trouble. Lucca was also great- lots of shops and beautiful architecture. We had a great time and our hosts were lovely and very helpful.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft.Was uns gefehlt hat,waren Infos oder Tipps was direkt vor Ort empfehlenswert gewesen wäre (Markt/Supermarkt/Restaurant/Eisdiele),das wäre schön gewesen.Unsere genaue Anreise wurde erst einen Tag später angekündigt,als wir schon da waren,kann aber daran liegen, dass wir sonntags angereist sind.Dadurch war das Ankommen etwas holprig,aber ließ sich dann klären.Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft gut gelegen.Sie liegt günstig zwischen Lucca und Pisa.Beides erreicht man sehr gut mit dem Auto (was man auch braucht!),auch Florenz und Siena sind gut von dort aus machbar.Die Küche hat alles, was man zum Kochen braucht,Kühlschrank inklusive Gefrierfach und Gasherd mit Backofen.Küchenhandtücher bekamen wir auf Nachfrage,Gewürze und anderes sind nicht vorhanden.Das Wlan war sehr gut und der Fernseher kam abends sehr gut bei unserem Sohn an.Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit dort.

Wir haben die Feriewohnung nach den Angaben im Internet für 4 Erwachsene gebucht. Am Anreisetag wurden unsere Pässe von der Besitzerin kontrolliert und wir erhielten eine kurze Einführung in die Benutzung der Klimaanlage. Weitere Erklärungen oder eine Besichtigung der Wohnung gab es nicht. Die Wohnung hat in der ersten Etage ein Wohn-/Esszimmer, eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit einem Gasherd, einem großen Kühlschrank, einr Spülmaschine und dem notwendigen Gechirr. Neben der Küche befindet sich ein kleines, modernes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Bidet. In der oberen Etage sind zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Insgesamt war die Wohnung sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Nicht gefallen haben uns die Größe der Betten (ca. 70cm x 190cm) und Höhe des 2. Schlafzimmers, das in der Mitte durch einen Holzbalken in der Höhe von ca. 150cm getrennt wurde. Aufrechtes Stehen war daher nur im schmalen, vorderen Teil des Zimmers möglich. Diese Wohnung ist daher nach unserer Meinung nur für zwei Erwachsen und zwei Kinder bis maximal 1,40m geeignet und nicht für vier normale Erwachsene, besonders nicht für ältere Menchen. Der Außenbereich ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt, sauber, und gepflegt. Eine Möglichkeit zum Wechseln der nassen Badekleidung wäre wünschenswert. Die Besitzerin sollte dringend den Kontakt zu den Nachbarn aufnehmen, da das ständige Bellen der Hunde, besonders in der Nacht, die Gäste nicht zur Ruhe kommen lässt.

Mooi appartement gelegen tussen Lucca en Pisa in een klein dorpje. Het appartement was goed onderhouden en schoon. De ontvangst door de beheerder was hartelijk. Het zwembad en de tuin met diverse zitjes waren ook goed onderhouden. Er is rond het appartement voldoende gratis parkeer gelegenheid.

Lovely property

The property is situated in a village which is equal distance, by car, to both Pisa and Lucca. It is also close to the beaches at Viareggio. The village has several shops including a small supermarket, post office and cafe. There is a large Carefour supermarket 20mins drive away. There a several apartments situated around a court-yard where you are able to eat out. Just off the courtyard is the garden where there is a lovely pool, grass area and large gazebo with seats. There is plenty of seats and umbrella's around the pool. The apartments have been developed to a good standard. However, if you are self catering then the kitchen is only equipped with the basics - no tea towels or any washing up cloths are provided. We are a family with two boys aged 5 and 11 and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There is plenty to see and do in the area and the pool is a lovely place to relax.
