The holiday houses Mimosa is located in Letojanni, in the old fishermen's village near Taormina (5km) on the Sicilian Ionian Coast.
The apartements ,Mimosa (4people each) is located in the town centre of the old fishermen village, only 30m from the seaside.
(second floor), is very light and have a spacious air-conditioned entry-sitting area with two single sofa beds, satellite tv, equipped kitchenette with four-flame stove, fridge, small freezer and washing machine,iron and ironing board and ombrella for the beach, an air-conditioned double bedroom, and bathroom with shower. . balcony overlooking the centre of the town and equipped with table and chairs.

Wonderful Stay

Apartment was as shown, extremely clean and close to everything. Host met us at the apartment despite us having trouble with our phone. Coffee/pastry down the street with numerous restaurants along the beach. We totally enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage kurzfristig gemietet. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch sehr sauber! die Vermieterin war freundlich und bemüht. das Highlight ist das Frühstück am Balkon mit Blick auf die kleine Strasse und den Park unter der Wohnung! alles sehr empfehlenswert!

Charming appartment for a relaxed stay with kids

We stayed in Bouganville. From the balcony you have a nice view over the small plaza with patre Pius statue, along the shopping street and you can also see a little bit of the sea, which is really just a few meters away. On Saturday morning stopped a small car with fresh fish directly in front of the house. Delicious! Two Eurospar small markets and a very small all-you-need market next door. The appartment is nicely decorated, very charming. For 2 people very comfortable. If one stays with 4 adults, two will stay on the two cozy sofas in the sitting room. We came as a family with 2 small children. The extra bed/matress and the baby bed that Carmen kindly provided fit all in the sleeping room. Though the closet gets difficult to use then this freed the sitting room for family life and was the best way for us. Our stay in Letojanni was very nice and relaxed, out of the saison. Ideal with kids because near to the beach for collecting little stones. At the end of the shopping street is also a play ground with several swings and slides and a small carousel. We believe, if one comes during the season, the other attractions on this place (big carousel, small electric train) will be running as well. Carmen gave us nice recommendations for visiting the region. Since no other guest arrived, we could stay as long as we liked on the last day. All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay.

Confortable and neat

We have spent our Eastern holidays in Sicily. The Mimmosa apartment was just as described: 50m from the seaside, in the vicinity of nice small restaurantes and shops. Small kitchen had everything we needed (pots, plates, etc., and a big fridge!); furniture was nice, the beds confortable, all tidy and clean. The owner of this property, Carmen, was really nice. When we arrived it was pretty late and our navigation couldn't find the right address, Carmen came by her car and led us directly to the apartment. There was a pile of fresh oranges from her garden waiting for us on the table. She gave us tips about shops, restaurants, turist attractions, in fact, all the information we needed so we could organize our tour better. We liked our stay in Letojanni and I have already recommended this apartment to my friend.

Lovely apartment beside the beach

We had a lovely time in this apartment just a few metres from the lovely Letojanni beach. Carmen the owner is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She met us from the train station in her car , took us to the apartment , explained everything and gave us some great information on the area and advice on things to do. She gave us a big plate of fresh peaches from her garden and had bottles of water in the fridge- all very nice welcoming touches . She gave us her mobile number to contact her at any time. Once the gas ran out and she replaced it within 5 min of receiving the call. When we were leaving she even arranged a free taxi to take us to the Taormina bus station - wonderful . The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked really well and was very necessary in August! We had so many towels we didn't use half of them.The satellite TV had a few English channels.We were able to pick up internet access from the Balcony by getting the password ( cost 2 Euro) from the hotel Silesia across the road. There were shops , restaurants etc all close by and the beach was just 2 mins walk away. A man selling fish and another selling fruit, park just below the apartment every morning from 8-9 and the produce is superb. The bus stop to Taormina was also convenient . I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area. Just one suggestion a microwave would be useful especially for families with young children. Thank you Carmen for everything .

Well-tended apartment

I've spend five days during february 2010 in the apartment of Carmen. The apartment is placed in the center of the small village Letojanni. I really liked the apartment since it was well-tended and very neat. Sea was only 100m away and there were enough shopping facilities in the village. Support by the renter was really good and any request would be taken care of. For instance, she accompanied me (on my own request) to an olive mill in order to buy some olive oil. I would recommend the apartment literally to anyone.
