Vacation villa for 8 people in the heart of Provence with heated pool

Welcome to our Le Petit Paradis holiday home in the heart of Provence!
Enjoyment is guaranteed. Whether you are looking for peace or want to do a lot, you are at the right address for both types of holiday.
The 120 m2 house has 4 bedrooms which are all equipped with individually controlled air conditioners. Two bedrooms are downstairs together with a bathroom. And two bedrooms can be found on the first floor with a bathroom as well. Upstairs a third bed of 80 x 190 cm can be placed in a bedroom (great for children under 15 years old, but a little less for an adult).
The kitchen is fully equipped (with a. Dishwasher, oven, microwave and various smaller appliances).
But of course you mainly come to be outside in the wonderful Provencal climate where the sun shines more than anywhere else in France. The spacious terrace by the swimming pool (5 x 10 m) has a large dining table in the shade, eight sun beds and a lounge area. You look out over the (flat) lawn with olive trees. At the back of the garden are a trampoline and a swing (for young and old).
The house is just outside of Salernes. Bakery and supermarket can be found at 1km. The 1,800 m2 site is completely fenced and lockable. Your car (s) are parked safely on your own property.
Perhaps nice to know: we bought the house about a year ago. Everything is freshly painted and the inventory is completely up-to-date. The downstairs bathroom will be completely renovated in February 2019.

Our house summarized:
• 4 air-conditioned bedrooms for up to 9 guests in total
• 2 Bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs)
• A wonderful (heated) swimming pool of 5m x 10m (open April to October). Safe to close with a fence if you have small children. Easy to remove if not necessary.
• A spacious terrace with 8 sun beds and a vast lawn with a trampoline and swing
• 45 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea and 25 minutes from the azure blue Lac de Sainte Croix (where the Gorge du Verdon ends)
• Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, large freezer, washing machine, dryer, kettle, two coffee makers, toaster, blender, etc.

Suggestions for a super fun holiday:
• Sea & beach day in Sainte Maxime (50 minutes drive from Salernes)
• Wine tasting at one of the many chateaux in Provence (5 minutes and further; see some suggestions below)
• Bicycle tours (from recreational to racing bikes and mountain biking)
• View the mighty Gorge du Verdon (aka the "European Grand Canyon")
• Sun and beach on the azure Lac de Sainte Croix
• Visit all kinds of nice villages within 5 to 20 minutes' drive: Tourtour, Cotignac, Aups, Lorgues, Entrecasteaux
• City trips to for example Cannes (1 hour), Nice (1 hour 15) and Aix-en-Provence (1 hour)
• A day of golf. For example on Golf de Saint Endreol at 45 minutes drive in La Motte en Provence
• The waterfall in Sillans-la-Cascade at 6 minutes drive
• And of course ... sunbathe and swim at the house!

Location
Salernes is in an ideal location in Provence. In the rolling hills where vineyards are interspersed with nice villages such as Tourtour, Entrecasteaux and Lorgues. The Mediterranean Sea is only a three-quarter drive away and the beautiful Lac de Sainte Crox even just 25 minutes. The house is a mile away from Salernes. Supermarkets and a boulangerie can be found within a kilometer and therefore easily accessible on foot.
If you want to alternate the rustic life in Provence with the energy of a city with character, then you have a number of top cities around an hour's drive away. Our personal favorites are Aix-en-Provence and Nice.
Aix is a chic but lively city. You can stroll and shop well. Nice is France's fourth city. Cosmopolitan and fantastic location by the sea.
But of course Cannes cannot remain unmentioned. Made famous by the annual Festival de Cannes, but actually nice to visit all year round.

Accessibility
• Of course our house is easily accessible by car. From the A8 (motorway from Aix to Nice) it is half an hour on excellent departmental roads.
• There are several airports around an hour's drive from Le Petit Paradis. Nice is the most common airport in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Toulon-Hyeres Airport is only an hour away. And the third option is Marseille - Marignane (at 1 hour 20).
• Finally, you can also reach our house entirely by public transport. Then take the TGV to Nice and then the bus (via Frejus and Draguignan).
