About this property
Long w/e breaks by the beach. View surf across terraced lawns . 2 mins to beach
Outside of the busy school holiday times Rabbit Hill is becoming popular for short stays.
Rabbit Hill has a large, open-plan living area with two bedroom/bathroom wings leading off. There are three bedrooms sleeping a total of six (plus cot) and additional queen sized divan bed for an extra two people. Two of the bedrooms have single beds that can be zipped to kingsize.
The ocean side of the house has a glass-fronted terrace, so you can check the surf in your pyjamas or enjoy an evening drink whilst watching the sun go down over the sea. The back part of the living area is wood panelled with cosy furniture set around a woodburning stove.
There are two dining areas. The larger of the two is on the terrace with views to the sea and surrounding coast.
The garden is very private with terraced lawns overlooking the sea. The top terrace, by the house, is good for outdoor games, sunbathing and eating alfresco.
For those who enjoy surfing, there is a walled garden behind the house with a hot, outdoor shower for when you come up from the beach.
Rabbit Hill is surrounded by National Trust land with many farm and coastal paths.
Walk left up the Camel Estuary to Rock and the ferry to Padstow or walk right to Pentire Point, the Rumps and enjoy the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
For supplies the shops are a 10-minute walk away over the beach.
There is parking for 3 cars on the driveway and a garage for a further 2 cars.

About the host
Hosted by Rowena and Ed Waghorn

We have been so lucky to enjoy Rabbit Hill since our grandmother built the house in the 60's. Since the 80's we've been happy to share this hidden gem with a select number of families (some who've been coming for 30 years!)
Why they chose this property
Polzeath sits inside the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)
What makes this property unique
This is a one of a kind bungalow with beach views just a 3 minute walk from the surf. It has a large two tier garden affording lots of private seclusion a stone's throw from the iconic Polzeath beach. Ideal for families who want to just park up and not have to drive all holiday.
