Very well equipped and comfortable holiday home. Loved the amazing views from the house and garden. Walking distance to the beaches and coast path. Very happy with our stay.
Fabulous property - we had such a good time having this as our base in North Cornwall. Amazing views, and easy access to the beach. It was just what we had hoped for. Thank you!

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
We had a lovely stay despite a rocky start due to the cleanliness of the beds - we spent the first couple of hours in Tesco, buying new mattress protectors, bedlinen, duvets and the contents of the non existent welcome hamper! The living space and kitchen were great but the rest of the property could do with some updating and a little bit of TLC. Little things like a new kettle, toaster and a washing machine that didn’t sound like it was about to explode would be a good start!! The view was perfect and the access to Polzeath was fab.

I am delighted you had a wonderful week and appreciated the fabulous location of Breakers. With regard to your mention of bed linen, I should put into perspective you only purchased x1 protector and x1 duvet for your own preference and not through necessity, and which I gracefully refunded. Self-catering holiday homes will often leave a ‘welcome pack’ (which you had) but obviously not a food ‘hamper’ which you imply was missing.
Thank you so much. We had the most wonderful stay at Breakers last week. The house is absolutely perfect, beautifully set-up inside. We have been coming to Polzeath for 50 years and have never stayed anywhere with such incredible views. It was a dream and we were very sad to leave.

Thank you for such lovely comments, I’m delighted you had such a wonderful holiday and I look forward to hopefully welcoming you back again 🏄♀️
This was everything we hoped it would be and some!! Refreshing, relaxing and replenishing. Such a beautiful location. We would highly recommend Breakers to anyone looking to recharge their batteries.
Shame the property hadn’t been cleaned to a good standard
We arrived and the place looked lovely which it was, until we looked at the pillow protectors which were stained which is unacceptable in the current climate. Also it hadn’t been hoovered under the seaters as piles of dog hairs and sweet wrappers. And a dirty towel had been left on the toilet. Had to wash a lot of crockery before we could use it. I work in this industry and your cleaning was not up to standard.

I’m pleased to hear you that you thought Breakers was lovely. I’m sorry that you didn’t think the cleanliness was up to standard. My caretaker was unable to personally clean the property as she had Covid and her replacement was not up to scratch. This was a one-off situation, I can only apologise.
We had a great holiday. It would be good to know in advance that no tea towels, oven gloves etc were not provided as well as towels and bedding.

I’m so delighted you had a wonderful holiday and appreciated its wonderful views. I apologise for there being no tea towels or oven gloves, this was a caretaker error as we do indeed supply them for our guests.
Breakers is set on the second line of properties facing the sea and beach. The benefit of that is that the property is very private whilst the first line properties have people passing on the south west coastal path all day making the gardens far from private. It is a ten minute walk to the beach while
Polzeath's shops and restaurants are about 15 minutes walk via the coast path but somewhat further via the road,. Breakers is well maintained and equipped and very comfortable.
The views from the property are stunning and from the lounge and patio we were able to watch members of our family surfing.
We thoroughly recommend Breakers for a family holiday.
We hope to return.
Fantastic experience. Great location and views over the bay were outstanding. Perfect for walking out onto the coastal path. Only down side was no gate on driveway so any pets could escape and dogs get in to the garden from neighbouring properties! Would definitely come back to Breakers.
Fab week at Breakers - views are just stunning, with loads of space for family of five with a dog, in a great location. Thoroughly recommend and we will be back!
The house and location are absolutely amazing. The view from the house is incredible. Everything was so nice, we want to go back again and again. I wish all rentals are like this.

We look forward to having you back to stay in Breakers again. It’s great that you enjoyed it so much .
Really enjoyed our stay at breakers. The house has amazing views of the sea and it is only a short walk to the beach. Really great location for a family. Local restaurants all within walking distance. Will Deffinately be hoping to stay again soon.
Had a wonderful week in Breakers the sun was shining and those views were amazing. Great location easy to walk to Daymer and Polzeath beaches. Teenagers loved their stay too.
Lovely small town. House is clean, recently refurbished for 2021, and is in a great location (5-7 minutes from the beach). The view from the house is great! The owners were helpful, pleasant and efficient. Hope to return for more happy memories! X
A lovely very comfortable and well equipped property with views to Stepper Point in the West all across Padstow Bay through Polzeath Beach to Pentire Point. The sun sets into the sea .in front of you. A short walk to Polzeath Beach for restaurants and an even shorter walk to the Oystercatcher pub, closed while we were there but reopened at the time of writing.
Excellent position and view, fabulous sun sets sat on the deck. Easy walk to the beach and amenities. Could have been cleaner on arrival, but would definitely recommend.

An extremely comfortable house with a perfect view!
My wife and I spent three weeks at Breakers in September and were captivated by an amazing view across the Camel Estuary, from Stepper Point to Pentire Point. It was a wonderfully restful break in an extremely well equipped house, with a very effective night storage heating system. The kitchen was well set-up with everything we could have needed. It was separated from the living area just by a unit, so anybody cooking was still part of the whole. Not being surfers, we enjoyed many walks along the nearby coastal footpath to Daymer Bay and Polzeath. And then there was wonderful fish in Port Isaac. Out of self-interest and the hope of future holidays, we were tempted to be lukewarm about Breakers - but conscience wouldn't let us. We really loved it!

What makes this property unique
The magnificent view of the Atlantic never fails to impress. From early morning making a coffee, to making a family supper in the evening, the changing tide and weather is always a wonder to behold.
