This modern, clean, first floor one bedroom apartment in East Finchley, North London will give your stay a happy, safe and most enjoyable one. It's a cosy, comfortable, relaxing home and lovely to come back to after spending all day in busy London Town. When you want to unwind from the city it's just an approximate 20 minute tube ride on the Northern Line and quick bus journey home. An ideal place and area for you to enjoy some fantastic parks, walks, restaurants, pubs, and it also has a wonderful historic cinema dating back to 1910.
This is a lovely cosy one bedroom apartment situated in a modern apartment block in a quiet residential street. There is a communal elevator as well as the stairwell /fire exit.
The whole living area is used as a lounge/dining area. There's a cosy 2 seater brown leather sofa as well as a red retro armchair to sit and relax while reading or watching TV. The dining table has 4 chairs to sit and eat meals or work on your laptop. There is full use of Sky TV, a DVD player and WiFi. The bedroom is fully carpeted to make it warm and cosy, a large double bed with pillows and duvet, more blankets are available if required. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you'll need, as well as crockery and cutlery. Please feel free to use the selection of cooking oils and spices as well as the large selection of cookery books. The washing machine is also located in the kitchen, there's no dryer but instead a large hanging clothes dryer. The bathroom is bright and clean with power shower set within the bath. All towels provided too.
East Finchley is a lovely safe area. There is a leisure complex across the main road which hosts a selection of great restaurants, a large Vue cinema as well as a bowling alley and the local gym which includes an indoor swimming pool. There are also a couple of other gyms and health clubs in the area should fitness be something you like to do. The high street also has a large selection of great restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, supermarkets, hairdressers and beauty salons if required. There is also a beautiful characteristic cinema near to the tube station showing a selection of movies daily and evenings/weekends, this building dates back to 1910. The lovely areas of Muswell Hill and Crouch End are short bus journeys away, for nice boutiques, cafes and restaurants. In the other direction this takes you to Finchley Central, North Finchley and further along to Barnet. All very nice to browse at the local shops, charity shops and local delis and cafes. There are 2 shopping centres which are approximately 30 minutes away in different directions, whether driving by car or taking the bus. Brent Cross Shopping Centre has a large selection of high street retailers and department stores including John Lewis and Fenwicks, or there's Wood Green Shopping Centre, more high street fashion retailers including Primark, Matalan. If you like nature and the outdoors then Highgate Woods, Hampstead Heath and Kenwood are all in the neighbourhood too making it such a green leafy area to live in and explore.

We spent 9 days here and enjoyed our time very much. The flat has everything you need: it is spacious, has a very comfortable bed, a nice shower, well-equipped kitchen and lots of TV channels on Sky. The flat is in a quiet house but taking the bus and tube you are in the centre of London very quickly.
The communication with the landlady went smoothly. She always replied very quickly.

Maike has been a great guest for 9 nights at my property. She was very easy to communicate with and very respectful. She left my flat so clean and tidy when she left it was like there had not been anyone there. I would welcome her back again if she comes back to London and I recommend her as a great houseguest for anyone hosting.
From booking to checking out all ran smoothly with no problem. Apartment very good in a quiet yet accessible area.
Nothing to fault and highly recommended.
I spent an extended period in this apartment. The location was excellent for me and Natalie was most helpful. Everything was as advertised with great internet access and sky TV. It’s also nice and quiet so a good escape from the hustle and bustle of London. There’s easy access to shops and public transport with a short walk to the Tube. Would be happy to stay here again.

Tony has been a most excellent guest while staying at my apartment. Very polite and respectful and left my place so clean and tidy and he’s even washed the bed linen and towels and made it’s all so neat on my return . I was most impressed how immaculate he kept my flat as he stayed for quite a long time.
I would happily recommend Tony as an excellent house guest and would welcome him back again should he need a place to stay in London again.
A definite 5 Star guest.
The owner was very accommodating. Lots of kitchen tools to make it easy to cook up some great meals. Nice area and great location. Right in the middle of East Finchley and North Finchley. Easy bus ride to the northern line. Great for business or pleasure!

Such a great flat! Really quiet at night, got peaceful sleep. Comfortable bed and lovely kitchen/lounge/living space. Natalie replied really quickly to all communications. I will definitely stay again, superb place!

A very pleasant stay!
I stayed in this apartment for three weeks and found it to be convenient, easy to look after, clean and safe. There is free on street parking outside and a small corner shop nearby for essential supplies. Natalie, the owner, was pleasant and helpful. The only possible drawbacks are that it is not so close to the tube station (although there is a bus stop close by from which buses go to East Finchley tube) and there was no microwave, which would've been useful for a long stay...but for a few days, no problem! Recommended!

Highly recommended if you're visiting as a tourist or on business.
A gem of an apartment and an ideal base for anyone visiting London as a tourist or on business.
Public transport (bus and underground) makes it easy to reach London’s West End and all the sights.
The apartment itself has all you need for a pleasant stay and the friendly owner was easy to contact.

Hi, I'm a happy, sociable, independent Londoner who absolutely loves my city/my home. I have recently taken on a new career which is freelance and at times gives me the opportunity to work outside London which is exciting and give me a sense of freedom, excitement and independence. I have had the privilege to travel to many countries for various different reasons. In my early 20's I spent over 2 years travelling around with a backpack, I love sightseeing and going to cool cities around the world, I also really love laying on the beach doing nothing except reading books, watching a beautiful sunset and enjoying a cocktail or two! The southern islands in Thailand still have a special place in my heart. I love to socialise, whether it's meeting up with friends at a great restaurant or pub, going to watch a film, or even just hanging out with friends having tea and cake having a good catch up with my nearest and dearest! Summer is time for long weekends away, either camping, at the beach, at festivals or picnicking at one of London's beautiful green leafy parks. Music is a big passion and frequently go to gigs and concerts. But my home is somewhere I can just come back to and chill and unwind, put on the TV, watch a movie, sit and read with a glass of wine. Or have friends over for a nice relaxing dinner. I hope you have an amazing time and enjoy your time in London.

It’s quiet, safe, in a lovely neighbourhood. It has very good transport links by either public transport or if driving. There’s a great selection of restaurants and cafes and a large cinema complex less than a 10 minute walk away.
Car - If driving the North Circular Road (A406) is literally 2 roads away and the M1 is just 10 minutes away from the property. Very handy motorway links. Bus - The property has very easy transport links, it's a 3 minute walk away to the bus stop with frequent buses (number 263) going to the nearby tube station which takes approx 10 minutes. Tube - East Finchley (zone 3 Northern line). It's then just a 20 minute tube ride into Central London with great links to all the underground lines and train links.
