The property is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful. We have a fantastic and relaxing stay on a lovely house and I would definitely book again if I go back to Studland.
Lovely house in a lovely area. Great communication with host and everything was as advertised. We enjoyed a peaceful stay and fabulous walks along the beach and across the coastal path past Old Harry rocks to Swanage
Ideal location. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here.We had a few minor issues on this occasion, they were sorted quickly and we were very happy with the communication with the host.
The house provided a brilliant base for our short break. We were blessed with Mediterranean- like weather so we made the most of the local beaches and outdoor dining. Will definitely recommend it to everyone.
Warm, cosy and well appointed property with very comfortable beds and dog friendly too.
Great variety of walks from the doorstep, including heathland and beautiful beaches.

Great location
Great location close to beach and the riding stables. Cute garden as well
The property is in an excellent location close to the beaches, the village shop and in a very quiet road. There is a walk for the dog across the road perfect for first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The house is well laid out, the beds comfortable and the shower room downstairs a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room and all appliances needed.Outside is a comfortable sun trap patio. We would definitely recommend and would like to return.
What a great place for visiting Studland and the Purbecks. Plenty of things to do, even when it rains. The house is perfect for a family and dogs. The children loved the bunk beds and the park over the road. The garden is pretty and secure for the dogs. There is an elegant patio area for outside dining. We love visiting here
Lovely property very well equipped and clean. Perfect indoor and outdoor space for a family with children. Location is fantastic such a beautiful village perfectly situated to explore the Jurassic coast.
This property is just darling with plenty of space to accommodate three adults and two children!! The gardens were perfect for cocktails along with plenty of space for the children to get their wiggles out! We appreciated the walkability to restaurants, the beach, and a local market! Our host was readily accessible from the states and answered any questions I had in front of our stay ‼‼ My grandson gave the cozy cottage 10 thumbs up!! We look forward to returning to Dorset and the Jurassic Coast and would welcome the opportunity to visit this lovely accommodation again 🤩
Cosy and well thought out property. The garden was also lovely.
Having two bathrooms also helped when two sets of adults are staying.
Good communication from the owner and everything you would need for a comfortable stay is supplied.
The house is in a great location, well-equipped and warm. The very well-stocked village shop is a 5 minute walk, the pub and beach 5-10 minutes further. A lovely stay!
The house is very comfortable, extremely well-equipped and set in a peaceful road close to the beautiful beaches of Studland. Easy walk to the village store and the pub and stunning walks across the heathland straight from the door. Enclosed garden is a bonus and easy parking. We loved it.
A really bright, clean and well equipped house with lovely gardens. Well located for 3 beaches, a bar, local shop/post office and pub. Highly recommended!
I stayed here for 3 nights with my cousin. Great location easy walk to beaches and pubs. So quiet and peaceful with almost no traffic. Footpath onto heathland opposite was great for quick dog walks first thing in the morning.House well equipped and very clean. 2 bathrooms a real bonus.Property had a really homely feel. Sitting room could have been quite small/cosy for more than 3/4 people.
A great place in one of our favourite locations. Felt at home straight away - cosy and comfy.
Made use of the log burner, cooked a Sunday roast and loads of walks on the beach and headland.
Well equipped, comfortable property, ideal for our group of 4 adults. Great location for visiting Swanage and the Studland peninsular. Difficult to control the temperature in the shower room and woodburner didn't draw well but otherwise an excellent property.

About the host

My family and I have loved Studland from our first visit and have been every year since. We just love the coast line and gentle waters that allow for a relaxing time for all. My husband grew up on the east coast of South Africa and desperately wanted to find a place in the UK that offered the same. Studland does this with ease as it offers sandy beaches that allow for lovely long walks, safe swimming and rock pools for exploring. We are an outdoors family that enjoy getting out - whether that be on our bikes, a hike or simply enjoying a day on the beach. Convenience is a must for a family with young children and we certainly find Studland and Swanage offer the perfect mix. There are great pubs close to the house and a number of lovely restaurants in nearby Swanage.
Why they chose this property
Location is fantastic with the beach only a short stroll away. We also have the heath walk that literally starts across the road. It is very quiet and tranquil and offers a home from home. One of our favourite things is enjoying the log fire in the evenings. The property has the benefit of a secure rear garden and a lovely front garden. We feel like we are in a different world whenever we stay and just love being here.
What makes this property unique
Our children think that South Beach (a very short walk away - even with said children!) is the greatest ever with all the beach toys they keep for children there.
With the National Trust owning most of the land around Studland, walkers and nature lovers are spoilt with long, sandy beaches, a forest full of deer and the far-stretching views of the heath.
