The Crows Nest chalet with Countryside Views & minutes from Sandy Beach

Welcome to the Crow's Nest. The chalet is set in a beautiful spot with countryside views from the doorstep and decking area, moments from the coastal path and only 5 mins walk to the lovely Sandy Beach. The chalet sleeps 4 people with 2 bedrooms, lounge, shower room and full kitchen facilities.

To the front you will find a large decking area which is ideal to sit out in the sunshine with a drink watching the kids play on the grass area in front of the chalet, or looking over the fields beyond.  You will also encounter many a rabbit bouncing around and sometimes get a visit from the cows in the field next door.  Patio furniture is supplied so you just need to bring yourself (and the wine!) The living space is an open-plan kitchen and lounge area allowing you to stay connected to your family/friends even if you've decided to stay in for a home-made meal. 

Facilities include: 2 Sofas for seating, Coffee tables for drinks and/or eating, Smart TV, CD/Radio, WiFi, Local Attraction guides and leaflets so you can plan what adventure is next, Storage unit to tuck away your bits and bobs, Kitchen is equipped with: Oven with 4 ring hob, Microwave, Fridge with Freezer compartment, Eating & Drinking Crockery & Cutlery, Cooking Pans, Trays & Utensils, Washing Up facilities, Cupboards to store your supplies. Electricity is provided Free of Charge.

The Crow's Nest is a 2 bedroom chalet and can sleep 4 people, plus up to 2 dogs. Including:  Double bedroom with wardrobe, Bunk bed room with drawers; ideal for the kids. Travel Cot is available (can be placed next to bunk beds, at foot of double bed, or in the lounge).The lounge has 2 sofas. There is plenty of floor-space for dogs to sleep on, although you will need to bring your own dog-bed or such.  Bed linen is provided for all beds, although we request that you supply your own travel cot bedding should you require it. Bathroom Facilities: Shower, Sink, Toilet Bath towels and mat are provided, however please bring your own beach towels if desired.

Heating is provided.
There is Wifi access.
The chalet is a No Smoking area.

Great stay here.

We really enjoyed our holiday brought our dogs with us who also enjoyed the long walks down to the beach. Lovely hearing the birds in the morning and watching the rabbits running around. If you want a quite relaxing holiday this is the place.

Lovely relaxed stay at the Crow's Nest

Just had a great relaxing break at the Crow's Nest with the family. The chalet is in a beautiful location tucked aaay and the peaceful views over farmland were wonderful. Had great fun with the kids spotting rabbits and other wildlife. Lovely walks along Yaverland beach with the dog and quite a few pub lunches were consumed! Inside the chalet it has all you need for a cosy evening in. We will be back!

Pleasant outlook over farm land. Plenty of play space for children,close to the beach. Very clean lodge,kitchen could do with replacing and unlived in odour. Sandown itself was a disappointment,lots of buildings closed and derilect.The island was very clean and no potholes anywhere plenty of attractions to visit.apleasant stay.

Fantastic overall. Few suggestions: instead of welcoming biscuits a airer for wet clothes would be much more convenient. No hot water throughout the stay which meant showers where challenging. Also a mat for stepping out the shower would be great instead of the mop and bucket in bathroom. Well equipped Kitchen. Milk in fridge upon arrival great idea. Sleeping arrangements great, double bed mattress dips on one side. Outside decking area and grass area fantastic for ages. Will definitely be booking again.

Run down site,but area lovely with stunning views

Property adequate and clean, but in need of some T L C in particular the shower, bracket holding the showerhead all loose and floppy, so does not hold showerhead in place.also vacuum cleaner useless, no suction,better of using a dustpan and brush.Also maybe a dog friendly site but found no dog poo bins at all.

WE HAD A GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY WITH OUR DOG TOO

Fabulous sunny 10 day stay here. Two adults, three children & a dog. Everyone was very friendly around the park. Great that a dog friendly beach was only 5 minutes away, we found a cut thru to a lovely quiet sandy beach! Lovely little beach resort, everything u need along the sea front - lovely restaurants & plenty of shops! We walked up to the top beyond the cows that are in the field opposite enjoying the amazing views! We visited many of the beach towns, ate in lots or restaurants, went kayaking & karting when it rained over the weekend but other than that we were on the beach everyday. Great for body boarding! Lovely place to run too. We loved our stay, thoroughly relaxing & perfect for our family. Thank you! First time to the Isle of White for myself & I would definitely recommend it, what a lovely little island - we will be back!

Great communication from the owner, making the booking proccess very smooth. Booked a long weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. Great location, close to the beach. Will definitely be coming back next year with the children for a family holiday.

Spent a week here with my husband and two young children. Great chalet in a beautiful location, close to the beach. Children loved looking for rabbit around the site. Well equipped with everything you need.

Hi, my name is David and I own the Crow's Nest with my wife and my parents. We use it as our holiday home and so the chalet is always loved and well kept.

Why they chose this property

The Crow's Nest chalet has a privileged position at the North edge of the site, tucked away from pretty much everything, with views from the front doorstep to the North-West over the fields beyond.  You may get the occasional visitor during the day from the cows looking over the fence from the field next door.  You can sit out on the deck watching the rabbits, or enjoying an evening sunset to the West.
