Sand Pointe 117 is a vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. On the west end of Sanibel, you will find the well-kept secret of Sand Pointe. With only 45 units in this Gulf front complex Sand Pointe 117 is a real jewel. With spectacular views of the Gulf Of Mexico, you may not even notice the flat-screen TV's, stereo system, DVD player, new kitchen, baths, and furniture. Sand Pointe is a break from the ordinary, a real treat to wake up with a perfect view from the master bedroom. Sand Pointe 117 has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 3TV's, DVD, high-speed wireless internet access, and a washer and dryer. Sand Pointe has a heated pool, covered parking, and elevators.

We appreciate that in the COVID-19 world that you spent extra time disinfecting. Also, the new carpet is wonderful, thank you!The location CANNOT BE BEAT. For easy parking/pool/beach access, unit #117 is the premier unit at Sand Pointe.We've been there for each of the past 3 years with our growing family & intend to return next 4th of July as well!

Disappointing

Beaches covered with algae. Smell like sewage. High end condo furnished with many cheap low end furnishings. Bad knifes, broken toaster, electric outlet not working. Property Mgr uses low end plastic bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Will not return. Will avoid Vrbo from now on.

***UPDATE*** We're excited to notify that as of January 7, 2020 the owner has completed the following updates... replaced carpet, replaced dining table, living room furniture, lanai furniture and completely renovated the master bathroom. The condo is stunning and offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Carpet was noticeably in need of replacement. Counter top appliances need to be replaced. Not having locker access was found to be difficult. Beach amenities were in extremely poor condition. We have vacationed on Sanibel for over 20 years, we were disappointed and would not rent unit again.

We're booked again for next season!Cleanliness could do with more attention: Wooden window slats are covered in dust & carpeting dirty - both in need of a clean. A modern 'flat' surface hob would be a welcome upgrade - frying is a nightmare!Call outs for maintenance problems were efficient & promptly attended.Shame no BBQs on the resort.

Lock issue

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 7 digit lock code was too many numbers. We don't take our cell phones to the beach and it was inconvenient to write it down and keep a piece of paper on us. We left the door unlock most of the time which defeats the purpose of the lock. Other places we stayed at had 4 numbers which seems adequate.

I do apologize about the six digit pin number, but we take our guests security and safety very seriously, and a six digit pin is exponentially more secure than a 4 digit pin by a factor of 10. Next time you come back, we are happy to provide you with a handy keychain with your pin on it that you can attached to your swimsuit or an optional traditional key if you prefer! Pin number inconvenience aside, we genuinely hope you enjoyed the beach, the lovely weather, shelling as well as the condo, gulf-front view and amenities!

A perfect getaway!

This beachfront condo was just as advertised. Clean, comfortable and the perfect view from the screened-in porch. The bed in the master was the most comfortable bed we have had in all of our beach rentals! We would definitely consider it the next time we return to Sanibel.

We were up graded to this unit. Beautiful view. Pool area had a bunch of gas grills and picnic tables. If you have a larger party the kitchen is big and 3 bedrooms. Freezer produced lots of ice
