Charming 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom with a lovely sea view and comunal pool, very well located in Praia da Luz.
If you are looking for a relaxing holidays in quite place with all amenites near by, this is your Rental Spot.
Located in a small gated development with good access wiht only 6 townhouses, you will enjoy the peaceful of the place, is less then 5 minutes to the village by car and walking is around 10 minutes. Free private parking space.
The lovely view of the sea, you can enjoy from the pool and also from the balcony, where you can have your meals and watch the sunrise.
The kitchen is eqquiped with everything that you need for your holidays and has a balcon meal that separate from the living/dining room. The hall entrance will give you acess to the kitchen, living room and bedrooms by stairs. The master bedroom is the only division that has direct acess to the pool, it means that you need to cross the master bedroom to go to the pool or you can go trhough outside. The acess to the master bedroom is made through Inside/exterior stairs. The pool area is big and you will have a BBQ comunal area.

Lovely apartment which had everything we needed and the pool is great. It is at the top of a hill and a 10 minute walk into the village but it kept us fit. Baptista supermarket also do free, fast deliveries so no need to carry shopping if you don’t have a car. Our host, Rita, was so kind and helpful when we had issues with the WiFi and washing machine. Would recommend.

Good apartment

We had a nice stay in the apartment. Rita was very attentive and helped us fast and in all het powers. The internet did not work properly but she fixed it. The only thing is that the 2nd bedroom is not connected to the house. With small children this can be a problem.

Algarve ist kein Mittelmeerurlaub

Waren mit unserer erwachsenen Tochter. Aufteilung der getrennten Schlafräume deshalb ideal. Der Pool ist größer als man glaubt. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und passend. Ein wirklich sehr schönes Apartment. Die Küche ist schon etwas älter. Ist aber allesda. Neue Töpfe, Pfannn undGeschirrwäre keineschlechteNeuanschaffung. Der Ort ist sehr schön, allerdings geht es heimwärts lange bergauf. Dies gilt deshalb genauso für den schönen Strand. Allerdings sind wir wegen der höheren Wellen immer in den Westen nach pria de casteleyo oder "reboundor" gefahren.

Wonderful house - perfect for family with slightly older kids

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Vila Van Gogh. Our children are 8 & 11 and so the separation of the master bedroom was no problem. I wouldn’t recommend this for families with younger children though. Although only a 10/15 minute walk to the beautiful town, it is a steep walk back and so we did make use of our hire car daily. If you don’t mind a walk, it’s perfectly located. 10 minutes drive to Lagos also. The house is well equipped and very clean and we couldn’t have asked for anything more other than some plumper pillows as they were thin! We were welcomed by the very lovely Rita, with wine and cheese and crackers. Such a lovely touch! The pool is beautiful and very quiet, even in the height of summer. Be aware that if you visit in peak times, a lot of restaurants require reservations which proved a little difficult but we managed by eating earlier than most (7/730). We were initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning but I can assure you that even in the height of summer, it isn’t needed. Fans are provided which are very effective and the house is very cool throughout. Overall this was a fantastic house and we won’t hesitate to return again! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Sehr schöne geräumige Wohnung. Super Pool. Küchenutensilien nicht sehr sauber, in den Ecken (Küche, Bad) Spinnweben. Agentur total überfordert. Mussten x mal nachfragen wegen Check-In. Bekamen dann verbindliche Zeit aber niemand war vor Ort. Es kam dann schlussendlich eine Nachricht, dass Schlüssel in Schlüsselbox ist. Versprochene Ersatzpfanne wurde nie vorbei gebracht.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir haben die zwei Wochen genossen. Am Anfang gab es drei kleine Probleme in der Wohnung, die aber sehr schnell behoben wurden. Wir haben lediglich einen Staubsauger vermisst. Ansonsten alles ok. Die Lage hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Jeden Morgen Frühstück mit Blick über Luz.

Foi uma experiência agradável, não gostei que a parabólica apenas tivesse canais Ingleses, pois se estamos em Portugal, no minimo devia ter TDT. Penso também que deveriam mudar as roupas e atoalhados ao meio da semana.

Ruhige lage, top ausblick mit luxus pool

Wir waren zu viert während der corona Zeit in dieser Ferienanlage. Die Agentur hat sich tip top um alles bemüht so dass wir reibungslos in den Urlaub starten konnten. Die Anlage befindet sich auf ein kleiner Hügel so das mann den Ausblick aufs Meer wunderbar genießen kann. Es war sehr ruhig (wahrscheinlich wegen corona) keiner der insgesamt 6 appartments nur 2 belegt dafür permanent bewohnt) hat der gemeinschaftlichen Pool benutzt ausser wir selber. Der Weg zum Strand kann mann zu Fuß machen zurück dann den Hügel hoch. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Lage, Haus und Ort und kommen gerne wieder

Relaxing days in Algarve

We enjoyed our stay in this house and the view to the ocean . The house is as described. We had all that we needed and everything was very new and functioning well. In particular, the large (shared) pool is great.

Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir waren knapp zwei Wochen in der Villa van Gogh, und haben uns sehr wohl Gefühlt! Es war alles da was man brauchte! Leider waren die Betten sehr hart so das der Schlaf wenig erholsam war, das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt und natürlich Ansichtssache. Für einen entspannten Urlaub sehr zu empfehlen, tolle Gegend!

10 jours extraordinaires !! Nous recherchions un village calme, bien situé pour découvrir l’Algarve, en bord de mer avec toutes les commodites sans les aspects négatifs des grandes stations balnéaires... Praia da Luz est la perle rare et la location tout autant ! Nous la recommandons, nous avons été ravis et conquis dès notre arrivée : très propre, spacieux, multiple terrasses, salle de bain neuve pour chacune des 2 chambres, la cerise sur le gâteau était la vue plongeante sur l’Ocean, nous ne nous en lassions pas de l´admirer...

23-07-2018 tot 30-07-2018. We arriveerden pas om 00.00 uur bij de woning. Werden netjes verwelkomd. Kregen korte uitleg en bezichtiging van de woning. In de ochtend zag je het erg mooie uitzicht over gedeelte van Luz en de oceaan. Het interieur van het huis was " ok " .Slaapkamers waren niet te verduisteren waardoor het rond 06.30 al licht en warm was op de slaapkamer. Bedden klein en niet fijn.Schoonmaak was half/half. Bolletjes haren (kat?) op de binnenplaats, verstopte putjes (?).Vervelende stank in de slaapkamers. Zijn eerder moeten vertrekken omdat medereizigers allergisch waren voor katten.Buren bleken kat te hebben die regelmatig op pad ging. We kregen ook nog te horen dat we na 22.00 uur geen geluid mochten maken!!. Dus na terugkomst van het eten in restaurant, wat in Algarve sowieso laat begint, werd je geacht stil te zijn!!. Tot op heden (14-08) geen respons van de verhuurder gekregen. Erg jammer van onze vakantieweek. Zeker geen aanrader.
